CHAPTER 32
PARIS**
Valentina emerged out of the water and cleared the water off her face. She looked at her side and smiled when she saw Myles, leaning how to hold his breath under water..
“That’s it! It’s okay now, don’t want you to die under my care all in the name of swimming.” Valentina brought Myles out of the water and began clearing the water off his face.
Myles had such long eye lashes with a cute nose that always makes Valentina smile each time she stares at him.
“Really wish you were the one who gave birth to me. At least you care about me, not like her” Myles smiled.
Valentina froze and a blush crept up yer face. She didn’t know if she should be happy that she wish for her to be his mom or to he sad that the kids never grew up with a mother.
Valentina smiled and pecked his nose. She loves how Myles is beginning to open up more to him.
“Well I can be your mom if you want?” Valentina said.
“Really?! You’ll marry my father??” Myles said loudly that make Valentina closed his mouth. She made sure that Ricardo didn’t hear that.
Well Ricardo was busy playing in the sand with Minnie.
“Well I don’t mean it that way” Valentina said.
“Too bad…” Myles said and began walking to the surface.
Valentina looked at Myles and then at Ricardo. Well this vacation has made her relieve her mind off Ryan’s betrayal but she isn’t sure if she’ll be able to handle another heartbreak of such so it’s better she lay low for now…
She couldn’t help but ponder upon Ricardo’s new behavior towards her. He was now so different, open, more relax and perhaps… More happy!!
“Hey Val!! We’re going to get some barbecue. Wanna come?” Ricardo asked…
That brought her back to reality. She smiled and nodded then rushed out of the water. Ricardo handed her a piece of clothing.
“Here, tie this round your waist. Hate the look of these men on you” Ricardo said.
Valentina slowly took it and looked up at him, is it she that was short or him that was too tall?
“Why acting jealous? We aren’t even a thing” Valentina scurried her brows..
“What if I wish we could be” Ricardo blurted out.
“Huh?” Valentina exclaimed.
Ricardo simply smiled and walked away. Valentina tied it, the clothing ended above her waist.
“Hey wait for me!!” Valentina said, running behind them.
They sat down round a table by the small stand that sold barbecue stuff. Ricardo walked to them with their meal on a tray.
He began placing the dishes on the table one by one.
“Mmm,,, sausages” Minnie gushed.
“Steak!!” Valentina drooled on the food.
Ricardo took his seat beside her and picked his fork and knife
“Last person to finish eating is a butt cake” Ricardo said.
“Say no more!!” Valentina said, getting ready.
“Twin eating power activated!!” Myles and Minnie highfived.
They all dug in their food eating like hungry lions. So much that even those passing were wondering what kind of family it was.
“Wait as sec, I know this face. That’s the CEO of Thornton investment!!” A passerby said with surprised all over his face.
Some who knew who Ricardo was began taking pictures of him, well he doesn’t care!!

“Will miss this beach” Minnie pouted as they packed their things in the car.
They already changed back to their normal wear and it was almost sunset so time to get going.
“Me too!!” Valentina pouted.
“Don’t worry, we will come back here all together in the future but not as a boss and secretary” Ricardo said and entered the car.
Minnie and Myles entered too. Valentina took a picture of the sunset view. Well she took a lot of pictures of them at the barbecue stand, at the sea and all the other fun stuffs they did.
She entered the car and Ricardo drove back home….

“You can now open your eyes” Logan said.
Kristina opened her eyes and gasped,her face completely changed. It was more smooth and beautiful and glowing plus he hair style was re looked up.
“Here wear this one. For our last outing of the day” Logan smiled and handed her a dress to wear.
Kristina looked at him and slowly collected it. She walked into a room and changed to the dress then wore the shoe that went with it.
“How do I look?” Kristina askee when she came out of the room.
Logan walked to her back and brought out a necklace adorned with white sparkly diamonds then wore it on her.
“You look beautiful…as always!!” Logan whispered to her.
She didn’t even know when she blushed. That made her look down.
“Thanks” She replied.
Logan looked at the time and it was 7PM, perfect timing. He stretched his hand which she took and they walked out of the spa.
He opened the car door and Kristina entered. He followed suit and then drove off heading to their real destination.
The car drove for some minutes before stopping in front of a luxurious and first class restaurant.
He opened the door for her and she slowly got down. Kristina hugged his left arm as they both walked in the restaurant.
They were guided to the VVIP sector where a table for two was already prepared for them.
They both took their seat and glanced through the menu.
“What can I serve for you Miss?” A waiter asked.
“Well, spicy spaghetti will do” Kristina smiled.
“Same thing with me” Logan said.
The waiter nodded and went to get their order ready. Kristina was looking round the place, enjoying the sweet soft piano playing at the background…
Some people were also sitting at VVIP slot but they were very few since not everyone can afford for such.
Logan took Kristina’s hand in his making her look at him. He brought her hand to his lips and kssed it.
“Thank you for spending your day with me, that means so much you know?” Logan smiled.
Kristina simply smiled too. He released her hand when their meal arrived. It was served to them and they began eating while talking about random things.

“Goodnight dad, night nanny!!” Minnie exclaimed and went upstairs, Myles followed behind her.
Well he’s not too much the energetic kind of kid. One would think he’s a teen from his attitude…
Valentina stood up from the dinning and turned to go to bed too but Ricardo blocked her way.
“Not even a goodnight?” Ricardo smirked.
“Goodnight” She muttered alarmed at their proximity.
Ricardo just stared at her, he doesn’t know why but he don’t want her to leave him. He wants her to stay here with him…
“Ricardo are you okay?” Valentina asked.
“Why ask?”
“Well you seem so different and more open and free” Valentina said.
Ricardo simply chuckled and and pinched her chin.
“Well maybe the spell hit me.” Ricardo said.
“Huh? Which spell?” Valentina asked.
“Well that spell which no one can evade. Love…” Ricardo said.
He suddenly became serious.
“Well I don’t know if it’s really what we call love or whether I’m still searching for the one but each time that I see you, I just want you to smile at me.
I dream each night of this red pouty lips and this kller body of yours, I know I’m a pe.rvert. I hate it when other men looks at you lvstfully not to talk of fIirting with you…” Ricardo said getting closer with her
“I just feel,,, no I know that in this world of betrayal, lies,heartbreak my only truth is you…” He added coming closer.
Valentina was completely took off guard, she didn’t know what to say again. So what she’s been praying against finally came to pass.
Ricardo slowly slowly parted her lips, delving in to kss her. Valentina swallowed hard and closer her eyes then dodged him and walked away leaving Ricardo on his spot.
“Was I too fast?” Ricardo wondered.
A smile formed on his lips, even his mom use to tell him that patience wasn’t his forte but for her he’ll give patience a chance.
He looked back at the road she took and smiled. He dipped his hands in his pocket and headed to his room…

Once Logan was through with his meal, he stood up stretched his hands which Kristina took.
He helped her up and they began dancing to the tune of the music.
“Tell me how much do you spend for this day? When did you plan all this?” Kristina asked him
“I do everything possible to please whom I love. Haven’t you noticed that I took you to your favorite spots” Logan said.
Thinking of that he was right!! Kristina love spending time with her parents, she also loves spending time at the spa and also love hot chocolate…
“How did you know?” Kristina asked.
“Have you forgotten that I’m Mr Stalker?” Logan smirked.
“Thank you” Kristina smiled.
“One last thing for tonight” Logan held her hand and guided her to the window where she could see the skies.
Not too long after, beautiful fireworks lit up the skies. Kristina gasped at it’s beauty as her eyes got glued on it. God knows how much she also love fireworks.
“How does he also know I love fireworks?” Kristina wondered, staring at them.
The fireworks all died down and then the last one popped on. That one now read…
“I – LOVE – YOU – TINA”
Kristina just stared at it, slowly feeling emotional. She slowly turned and faced Logan who simply smiled at her…
“Thank you!” She whispered.
“Will do more to prove to you how I much I’m serious” Logan said.
Kristina chuckled and took a step closer to him. She slightly tilted her hair to the sides and kssed him….
That caught Logan by surprise but he shortly got back to himself and pulled her closer by the waist, kssing her back
