“Hey,” Romina said as she walked into Elias’s room. “Hey,” he replied as he turned to face her, Romina sat on the bed while Elias sat at the table with a textbook in front of him.
“Getting anything from that?” She asked and motioned her head at the book, he raised it slightly to reveal its cover. “Yes, it isn’t hard to read and understand it,” he said.
“What’s hard then?” Robins asked. “Getting the job done, I mean the practical aspect of it,” he answered. “You can do it right?” She asked with her slightly shaking voice.
“Do what?” Elias asked, he would have gotten what she is talking about but her shaking voice confused him. “Save my mother, you can save her, can’t you?” She asked.
“I’m not sure but I’ll do everything I can,” he replied. “Please save her she is all I have,” she pleaded as tears finally found their way out of her eyes.
Elias rushed to her and squat in from of her, he wiped her tears but that won’t stop them from falling. “Why are you crying?” He found himself asking in a calm and caring voice.
“I don’t know…, I honestly have no idea,” she sobbed. “It’s fine,” he replied sitting beside her, he made her rest her head on his chest.
“I’m….., I think I’m scared,” she stuttered. “What are you scared of?” He asked patting her shoulder while she wet his shirt with her tears.
“I don’t know, this is the first time I’m scared in four years. I always had everything under control, I had nothing to be scared of, and I was sure my mom would wake up and everything would be perfect. I feel like those were lies I told myself, I consoled myself with those words.
Right now, I am very scared Elias I have no idea of what Neil is capable of, he is a ticking bomb with no timer he can explode at any time,” she sobbed.
Elias felt sorry for her, he knew she was going through a lot and needed someone to be there for her all the time but what can she do when she has no one but herself.
“You fall when you carry too much,” he said. “I don’t understand,” she uttered, by now her tears has stopped but she was still sad. “You see everything and everyone as your responsibility, even your annoying brother,” he paused when she chuckled, he was happy he made her smile though what he said was to make her realize the truth and not to smile.
“You see it as your responsibility to contain him, your responsibility to make your mom better and keep the company in order,” he said.
‘He is right, these are what I do, I feel weak and useless when I don’t fulfill them, maybe I am carrying too much but who am I when I don’t perform all these responsibilities?’ She asked herself.
“You are more than the weight on your shoulders, it wouldn’t hurt to slow down,” he said and wrapped his hand around her, she felt safe and relaxed it was a strange and new feeling to her.
“Why do I feel scared now,” she asked. “You just realize the truth, you don’t have the strength to balance everything anymore,” he replied
She nodded and dozed off in his arm, he laid her on the bed and wanted to continue what he was doing but her grip tightened on his shirt. “Let go,” he whispered to himself as he tried to make her unfold her hand.
“It’s not your responsibility,” she muttered sleepily. “Using my words against me, how smart,” he uttered with a smile, Romina pulled him closer and he fell beside her
He observed her face and he admitted that she is beautiful, he caressed her face and she snuggled in his arm to prove she likes it.
“You should rest more often,” he whispers before falling into deep slumber too.

“It’s so warm,” Romina moaned sleepily, she giggled and moved closer to Elias’s naked chest. His shirt was unbuttoned, and his abs were revealing.
Romina opened her eyes to see he perfectly build chest. “Am I sleeping on an island?” She asked in a whisper. “What sort of soft and warm rock is this?” She asked.
She slowly raised her hand to touch it, it felt like human skin and she breathed out in relief for a second. “Was I kidnapped by a giant?” She asked.
“Giants don’t exist and if it were to be in existence I won’t be born as one,” a voice said. “If this ain’t a rock nor a giant then what is it?” She asked.
She didn’t wait for the voice to reply her when she yelled, “Elias!!”
“Good Morning,” he greeted and she got out of bed immediately, she covered her chest with her hand. “What did you do to me? Why did I sleep here?” she asks
Elias sat up too and said, “you slept here willingly and I did nothing to you, don’t you remember what happened yesterday night?” He asked.
“I do but why are you shirtless?” She asked. “I don’t know,” he replied. She stared around the room in search of something but ran out when she could find it.
“¢razy,” he muttered and got out of bed. “How did my shirt unbuttoned?” He asked himself as he walked to the bathroom.
In Romina’s bathroom, the shower was on but she was not under it, she sat on the side with her legs hugged to herself. She remembered unbuttoning Elias’s shirt, she trailed ksses on his perfect chest after she was done.
“So manly,” she remembered herself whisper and fanning his chest with her mouth. “So embarrassing!” She yelled roughing her hair.
Ten minutes later she stood in front of the mirror with her hair packed in a ponytail, she was wearing a pink skirt that stopped at her knee and a white top.
Nanny Gloria was not in the kitchen nor the dining room when she got there, she simply got Elias food and rushed to his room.
“He doesn’t remember a thing, he won’t remember,” she mumble as she stood in front of the door, her heart pounding against her chest. She closed her eyes as she heard the doorknob twitch.
He was reading a textbook, the same one he was reading the previous night. “Y…, your breakfast,” she stuttered avoiding eye contact with him.
“Thanks,” he replied getting out of bed. “Aren’t you going to eat?” He asked. “No I have lots of work at the office,” she replied
“Humm,” that was the only sound he made. “What do you need me to get? I mean for mom, things you will be needing in treating her,” she stated nervously.
“Umm, a phone,” he said after scratching his hair. “What? How will that be helpful? Do you plan on running away?” She asked.
“No, don’t get that. Get me this,” he said writing something on a piece of paper. “Okay,” she said and left the room. ‘She is avoiding eye contact with me,’ he thought.

After breakfast, the twins had their lesson and Nicole was happy with how fast they have improved, they must have studied during the weekend.
“Tell me Diana what will you like to become in the future?” Nicole asked. “I wanted to become a flight attendant but not anymore,” she replied
“Why? What changed your mind?” Nicole asked. “Personal reasons,” she answered. “What do you want to become now or you haven’t decided?” Nicole asked.
“I want to work for an organization as a spy,” she replied. “A spy?” She asked. “Yes,” she replied simply.
“Why a spy of all things?” She asked. “I will be able to find missing people,” Diana replied.
“Do you know it’s dangerous?” Nicole asked. “Yes and that’s why it’s fun because you are clueless about the next minute, you could get caught or go scot-free,” she stated.
“And you Draco, any dream job?” She asked. “I wanted to be an actor but now a detective,” he answered.
“Okay, but why?” She asked. “I get to punish criminals,” he answered. “I believe you guys will be the best in whatever you choose,” Nicole said.
“Of course aunt Nicole,” Draco agreed. “We are the del Vera twins,” Diana added. “Can you both stop it, it’s early for Pete’s sake,” Iris uttered as she walked out of her room.
“Queen of sleep finally left her realm,” Diana said sarcastically. “You must be the princess of trouble,” Iris retorted.
“You are the walking trouble here Iris,” Draco uttered. “Look who is talking the king of problems,” Iris rolled her eyes.
“It’s early for this, let them study Iris,” Nora scolded walking out of the kitchen. “I am not stopping them, studying is a waste of time for them not like anything can fill that brain of theirs,” she mocks.
“Says the lady with a chicken brain,” Diana uttered. “Excuse me,” Iris said walking towards Diana, before Diana could say something else Iris h!t her and she lost consciousness.
