The room was as quiet as a graveyard as all eyes were on Diana and Iris. Diana sniffed and stare at Iris, Iris kept a straight face and Diana scoffed.
“Mrs. Drake,” Diana called and she turned to look at her. “Your daughter is a murderer,” she blurted and Nicole gasp while tears flow out of Nora’s eyes.
“What did you just say?” Nora asked as her legs lost their strength slowly. “Iris murdered four people, how can my brother marry a murderer?” Diana asked rhetorically.
“My…., daughter is not a murderer,” Nora defended. “Why don’t we ask the culprit herself if she is guilty or not?” Draco asked and Nora turned to Iris.
“Iris…., baby…m, it’s not true, is it? You klled no one, right? I never raised you to be a kller,” she said as she took slow steps towards Iris whose face was void of emotions.
“They all got what they deserve, no one deserves mercy ’cause they showed no mercy too,” Iris replied with so much anger.
“What are you talking about?” Nicole asked. “Iris…,” Diana was cut off by a sharp pain in her lower abdomen.
“Ahh!” She screamed and fell back on the bed. “Diana!” Draco yell and rushed to the bed. “Are you okay? Where does it hurt?” He asked patting her hair backward.
“Elias…, get my brother,” she mumbled and lost consciousness. “Diana!” Draco yells shaking her body.
“I’ll get the doctor,” Nicole said before rushing out of the room. “We need to talk,” Nora said pulling Iris by the arm, she dragged her out of the room while Draco stared at his sister’s pale face.
Nora and Iris stood in a corridor, Iris’s arms were folded under her bbs while Nora was trying her best to control her tears.
“What were those kids saying? What was it about?” Nora inquired. “Dad was shown no mercy, they were five,” she replied.
“Dad? Your dad? What are you talking about?” Nora asked getting confused. “I promised I would avenge dad, didn’t I?” She asked.
“You? Did you murder someone? Your dad was not murdered!” Nora snapped as tears won’t stop wetting her face. “They might not be the same people but they and their families should feel what we went through,” she stated only for her to be sIapped.
She held her cheek and turned to face her mother. “Mom?” She called. “I warned you, Iris! I told you to let go of the past! Those people were innocent!” Nora scolded.
“Innocent? Was dad guilty too? Did he deserve to die on the street?” She asked as she cried too. “Iris, you…., you should not have punished innocent people,” Nora said.
“They might be innocent to you but everyone on that street is guilty of my dad’s death and they all deserved to die! I don’t care if you don’t understand me, I don’t expect you to. You might not understand my decision right now but you will in the future and you will praise me,” she retorted and walked away.
“I…., Iris,” Nora called and lost her balance but Nicole caught her before she could fall. “Mrs. Drake,” she called as she shut her eyes with tears streaming down her cheek.
“You should calm down,” Nicole advised as she helped her to sit on a chair. “I failed as a mother,” she cried.
“I should have raised her well… I thought I gave her everything, why would she punish innocent people?!” She asked hitting herself. “Just why? Why would my daughter be a mvrderer?” She cried.
“What happened?” Nicole asked after Nora calmed down. “It was after she lost her dad, he had a heart attack on the street and no one offered him help,” Nora sniffed and Nicole pats her back.
“Thanks, Iris swore to make everyone in that street pay for not attempting to take him to the hospital. She visited that street each day with the intention of someone getting hurt and abandoning them the same way her father was abandoned,” she explained.
“She abandoned four people?” Nicole asked. “I guess,” Nora replied.
“That was why the twins disliked her, what she did was so inhumane, but they only witnessed four what if she has done that to more people?” Nora asked and facepalm herself.
“She will come around, she is a good person and I’m sure of it,” Nicole assured and hugged Nora who kept crying.

Romina walked into the doctor’s office wearing a nose mask, she sat on the visitor’s chair and dropped her bag.
“Good afternoon ma’am,” the doctor greeted. “Afternoon,” Romina replied. “What is your complain?” She asked.
“You are Diana Del Vera’s doctor right?” Romina asked. “Yes, are you a relative?” She asked.
“Yes and I need a favor,” Romina stated. “Favour? what is it you want?” She inquired.
“Her chat….. I want every single detail about her health,” Romina requested. “Why should I give you that?” The doctor asked with a smile.
“Because her surgeon needs it,” Romina replied, the doctor laughed and stared at her as if she had gone banana.
“Ma’am I think you are in the wrong hospital, I am her surgeon and I have everything I need,” she said. “You are the first assistant, not the lead surgeon, her brother Dr. Elias Del Vera will be the lead surgeon,” Romina blurted.
“You should get to know her family more, because her brother is missing so there is no way he is performing the surgery,” she replied.
“I hate doubting Thomas but I guess I have to run into them once in a while,” Romina said and brought out her phone, she dialed Zoey’s number and she picked up immediately.
“You with Elias?” She asked immediately after she heard Zoey say ‘Hello’. “Yes,” she answered.
“I want to speak to him,” Romina said and waited for a few seconds. “Romina,” Elias called.
“You should speak to your sister’s doctor,” she said and handed the phone to the doctor who was reluctant in taking it.
“Hello,” she said glaring at Romina. “Good day, this is Dr. Del Vera,” Elias said and the doctor gasped, it was him she met him twice at the Doctors conference he was also her role model.
“Doctor,” she called. “I will operate on my sister so please send the necessary details and keep this a secret,” He warned.
“I will,” she replied and gave the phone back to Romina who cut the call immediately. “So?” Romina asked and the doctor gave her some files.
“You know what to do about what just happened,” Romina said as she kept the files in her bag. “I’m not a novice,” The doctor replied.
“Good, I’ll see you around,” she said and walked out of the doctor’s office.

“Romina!” Zoey yelled and jumped on her as she walked into the mansion. “You have no idea how heavy you are,” Romina snapped pushing her off.
“I have good news,” Zoey announced. “I’m listening,” she said walking towards the sofa.
“Aunt’s condition is improving,” she blurted. “It is?” Romina asked excitedly.
“Yes, we need to watch her until tomorrow to decide what happens to her oxygen,” Zoey said. “What happens to her oxygen? By that you mean she might not need oxygen to breathe?” She asked and Zoey nodded.
“Oh my goodness,” she muttered excitedly and rushed upstairs while Zoey followed, she stopped by her mother’s bed and stared at her face.
She was looking better and her vitals were stable, Romina faces palm herself as tears fell from her eyes.
“Why are you crying? Weren’t you happy seconds ago?” Zoey asked. “I’m just so happy,” she replied and rushed out of the room to the secret room.
“Romina gets weirder each day,” Zoey muttered and walked out of the room. Romina jumped on Elias who was working on the laptop, he was startled that the laptop almost fell.
“Romina?” He called but she said nothing, sniffed and he quickly turned around with the fear that she could be crying.
“Romina. Why are you crying?” He panicked as he wiped her face continually. “I’m just so happy,” she replied.
“Happy?” He asked. “Yes,” she replied and they sat on the bed.
“Romina!” Zoey yells running into the room. “What’s wrong?” Romina asked fearfully.
“Your brother is downstairs with….,” she trailed off and Romina stood up along with Elias.
“With who?” She asked. “You should see for yourself,” Zoey replied and Romina rushed out of the room with Zoey behind her.
“I can’t follow,” Elias mumble and stayed back.
“She is here,” Niel said as Romina walked down the stairs. “What do you want Neil?” She inquired, a man was sited on the sofa backing Romina.
“I brought you a visitor,” he said and Romina rolled her eyes. “You will be so thrilled when you meet him,” he added.
The man stood up and turned to face Romina, Romina gasped as her hand flipped to her mouth.
“How is this possible?” She asked no one as Zoey held her.
