I was mute for a second…
Must I hear what she has to say?
I don’t really want to talk to her…
I don’t really have the strength for this lady….
After Leo made me feel guilty am not ready to face her after the fight we had two nights ago.
I just want all this to roll off my back and pretend like nothing happened.
But…
Do I even have a choice?
I don’t really have a choice but to listen to the grab she has to say.
I sighed and turned to look at her..
Her face was still swollen a bit and i hurriedly look out to space…… avoiding her gaze.
Wait…what is this I’m feeling inside??
Pity??
No?!
I shouldn’t feel any pity for she was wrong..
She was at fault so damn the pity feelings…
“Tyler….”
She called in a shaking voice…
I looked at her and she was staring back at me…
Her eyes….it was almost filled with tears..
Even if I was a bit far from her I could see her teary eyes…
I brushed my hair backwards with my fingers and blow out air…

He sighed and I asked him to sit which he did….
But he was backing me….
Trying hard to avoid eye contact.
I stared at him from behind for a short time…
Why is he being this grumpy…it doesn’t suit him…
What ever it is I’m surely gonna fix it…
I’ll make this work again.
“You have just 5mints Kate” He said coldly and I sat a bit close to him…
Geez….
Just sitting close to him makes me nervous…
He was just staring at the floor clearly avoiding my gaze.
“Uhmm… Sylvia will….will be staying at my mum’s for a while…” I started with that since he didn’t know about it and he sighed.
“You decide that??” He asked with his voice still so cold.
Why!!
I don’t like it
It scares me..
“No no…I waited for you to return the night before she went but you didn’t return home,,that’s why you didn’t know about it…I’m..I’m sorry”
He cleared his throat and brushed his hair…
“So your mum now see Sylvia as her granddaughter?? Now huh?” He asked and I sighed…
“She has always see her as her grand daughter…it’s just that she…she was only against me getting pregnant out of wedlock back then.. that’s all”
“And that’s the reason we are in this now” He replied and I bent my head and chew my nails.
“Tyler what do you mean by that??…. Don’t you see Sylvia as your child?”
I asked and felt tears filled my eyes
“Of course not… she will always be my child…it’s my blood running through her veins and there’s no doubt about that….so do not make all this get weird”
He said coldly and I blinked rapidly to avoid the tears from dropping…
Oh God when will all this cold mood be over..
“Is that all?” He asked and I sighed…
“I’ll be applying for a job tomorrow and I want you to know about it”
“Will you be cool with that?” I said and he brushed his hair and scoffed
“Sure,,if you feel that will keep you busy….I’m totally fine with it…do whatever you want”.
He said and stood up.
And I hurriedly stood up too and hugged him from behind…wrapping my hands around his waist….
I don’t know where the courage come from but I just did it.
I rested my head on his back and to my surprise he didn’t resist the hug.
I had him scoff.
“Why do you hate me this much Tyler?” I asked in a sad tone….
“I don’t” He replied simply.
Just then he took my hands off his waist slowly and turn to look at my face.
He stare at me mutely and I stare back
He didn’t say another word but just walked out of the room and shut the door.
I bent my head and cried.

The night flew by pretty fast and I wake up early.
I prepared breakfast since Tyler hasn’t left for the office yet.
Even if he didn’t ask….
I just made it.
I served it at the dining and rushed to get ready for the job seeking…

The office was really quiet as everyone was seated at their various corner going through their systems…
¢rap!
The company page has been hacked!
How did this happened!!
I can’t really log in to the page and same as others…
The manager was looking so frustrated and he just keep pasting round,,going in and out..
At some point two guys who were computer programmers came to work on the systems and tried retrieving the page…
I was damn frustrated because all the files I’ve worked on has been submitted to that page and if the page doesn’t get to be unhacked soon I’ll lose everything and start all over.
Oh God!! Isn’t that alot of stress!
I rubbed my face in frustration.
I can’t believe this…
But I was able to log in last night..I think it happened this morning.
I sighed and looked out the door that was slightly opened and saw a figure…
She was standing at the entrance of the office and waved at me.
Wait whatt??
Kathy??
What’s she doing here??

? Katelyn’s pov ?
I checked my wrist watch as I rushed inside the institution…..
Oh crab!…
it’s was almost 9am and I hope I’m not late for the interview.
I saw the receptionist and told her I was here for the interview and she directed me to go upstairs and take the right turn and enter the second room…that’s the manager’s office.
I rushed upstairs and took the right turn and was about going to the second door but stop when i saw Becky at the first office…..
The door was slightly opened.
They were some other people at the room and they looked really busy…
She also seemed worried….
What’s going on??
Her eyes caught with mine and I had to wave..
She excused herself and came out to meet me.
“Kathy?..” she called and I smiled
“Hi good morning…” I hugged her.
“Good morning,,what are you doing here this early?” She asked and tucked my hair behind my ear.
“Have you forgotten?? I have an interview this morning with your boss” I reminded and she placed her first two fingers on her forehead.
“I totally forgot girlfriend… I’m sorry” she said and sighed..
“What’s going on in there” I asked and we both looked inside…
Two guys were trying to find something on the system and others were just watching..
“Kathy dear…I really don’t think there’ll be any interviews today”
“Why?” I asked surprised
“Well our company page was hacked this morning and we haven’t been able to get it done…those guys have been working on it too…” She said and I mouth and “oh”
Uhmm ..
That’s pretty big…
And I thought I’ll be getting the job.
What a waste…
“Wait a minute!!” She suddenly beamed and grabbed my arm.
Ouch!
“You’re a computer genius right?? Can’t you do something about it?” She asked and I battled with my eye lashes…
“Come on you should try…pretty please!! I need it to be opened or else all my efforts will be gone” She said and pouted her lips.
I laughed lightly and nodded…
“Okay… I’ll try” I said and she happily held my hand as we both walked into the office.
