? Dylan’s pov ?
“Four years!!!”
She flinched and I wonder why she did…
I mean what’s the big deal??
What’s so bad about being single for four years??
Is it a crime or what??..
“What?” I asked when I felt her gaze on me for long….
“It’s just that all this is bemusing….What have you been doing for four years Dylan?” She asked and spread her hands apart..
“Well obviously nothing..”
“So why did you stay for that long before moving on?” She asked
“Uhm…let’s just say I loved my ex so deeply and when she broke my heart I found it hard to move on” I explained and she scoff.
“What?? It’s just that all the girls I’ve been meeting are just in for the money,,you know what am saying??” I asked and she shook her head making me laugh…
“I just don’t know why I can’t move on tho…..maybe course I haven’t found the right lady..” I admitted and she blinked rapidly
What? it’s true…
I haven’t…
And I don’t really think I’m ready to move on either…
“Woa… you’re the first guy I’m hearing this from” she said and I scoffed
“Really now??” I chuckled.
“No I’m serious…guys are really fund of moving on easily maybe months after their last relationship but you?…four years??,,How can a cute guy like you be single?”
“Okay please stop,, I’m having a feeling that you’re mocking me already” I said and she sighed…
“I’m sorry Dylan it’s just that…it’s too hard to believe”
“Girls are coming but I don’t feel the spark in any of them….
“Well believe it or not it’s true” I concluded and she laughed lightly…
“Do you want to drop off at Becky’s house?” I asked and she shook her head.
“I’m just gonna drop off at my house…”
“Uhmm..I don’t know the road to your house…I totally forgot about it…
Will you be giving me the directions??” I asked and she mouth an ”oh”
She hesitated for a while before speaking up.
“Uhmm okay,, if it’s fine by you” she said and I nodded…
I think Sylvia got her talking skills from her…
Because they look way alike when they talk..
She ask too many questions…
I never knew she’ll be really fun to spend time with…
I thought she was the quit mum type…
I wonder how old she is…
She look way too young to be a Mum.
The first time I saw her I never thought she was Sylvia’s mum…
I thought she was her big sister or Aunt.
I smiled and shook it off…

We got to her house and I helped her bring the sleeping beauty out of the car…
I smiled as she slept so soundly on my shoulders…looking so innocent.
No one will know that she can bring down a full building with her disturbance…
I laughed lightly…
“Thank you so much Dylan for bringing me home I’m so grateful” Katelyn said with a sweet smile as she carried Sylvia from me…
“Uhmm..it’s no problem” I replied and she smiled again.
She’s fund of that….
“I’ll go in now…..see you some other time Dylan” she said and waved at me…
I waved back and she went in…
I took a proper look at the Mansion from the outside.
It was a really big building that looks like paradise.
It looks some how familiar.
Like I’ve seen it on tv or something…
Does she live alone? Or with her husband??
Hmm I’ll really like to meet her husband.
He must be a really cool guy and perhaps rich too….
The mansion says it all…
I smiled and stood for a while before going inside the car and drove off…

? Katelyn’s pov ?
I got inside and dropped Sylvia on the couch…
Oh God…
Please don’t tell me he’s home already…
I don’t think he is…
It’s pass 7.
I don’t think he’s back from the office yet.
So he won’t be home now right??
He’s always late or maybe he won’t come home tonight…
Oh Goodness…
Should I check his private room??
No!
What if he’s in?
He’s warned me never to go close to his room or even touch the knob of the door.
Or should I just quietly go drop Sylvia in her room first??
I really don’t want any drama tonight…oh God please..
I took the stairs been as quiet as I could…
My heart pound as I got to the door of his private room but fear couldn’t let me touch the knob of the door.
Don’t tell me he already saw Dylan through the window…
Ahhh!!
Am dead!!!!
Oh God!!
What if he did??
No!!
He didn’t…
If he did he would’ve come downstairs and yell at my face right??
I blow out air and placed my hand on the knob…
I tried opening it but discovered it was locked….
Oh!!!
My heart!!!
He’s not home!!!
Ahh thank goodness!!!!
I placed my hand on my chest and rushed downstairs.

? Tyler’s pov?
“Really mhen??”
“You’re planning to do that?? Because of Lisa??” Leo snapped as I drank from my glass.
He stood up and ran his fingers through his hair.
“Leo please my head is really filled up…maybe some other time we’ll talk about this” I told him and he scoffed
“Are you kidding Mhen?? If you don’t sort this out now then when will you do that?? There’s no perfect time to sort this out Tyler.
Look isn’t this getting too far?? You want to divorce your wife because of one $illy relationship you had in the pass that you don’t wanna get rid off??” He asked and I looked at him and back at the glass…
Seriously…
He’s the only one who can talk to me in this manner and I’ll allow it…
“Why do you always have Katelyn’s side Leo?”
“Because she’s done nothing wrong to you Mhen! So you don’t need to do this to her….you’ll f**king hurt the poor lady”
“Lalisa has been there for me even before Katelyn came into my life…so what else do you want me to do??” I asked and brushed my hair backwards…
“Tyler you can fix this!…yes Lilisa was there for you….but she left you for four good years because of her movie career and that was when Katelyn came into the picture…and don’t forget Katelyn was also with you for those years…she was with you and she never left…she made you forget about your worries,,,She fixed your broken heart,,, She gave you a beautiful daughter. This is how you repay her??” He said and I scoffed…
“Really mhen…Lisa is turning you into someone else and I don’t like it” He added
“Just admit it…you’ve never liked Lisa Leo”
“Well yes! And I’ll never like her,,no matter what”
“Leo when Lisa left she promised to come back and she did”
“Oh yeah?….and why did you move on with Katelyn if you knew Lisa was gonna come back?”
He asked and I kept mute
“Don’t you see it’s Destiny??….without Katelyn do you think you would have been fine all those years?? I was there mhen…i saw how heart broken you were! I mean think about it! I know your feelings for Katelyn died of when Lisa came back into the picture… aren’t you getting this??…
“Come on bro you have a beautiful family….you have a pretty daughter and a darling wife…but you’re too blind to see all of this because of Lalisa!”…
He half yelled and for the first time I flinched…
He sighed and placed his hand on my shoulder.
“Tyler…. don’t be like this,,don’t let Lalisa poison your mind and separate you from your family…. explain all this to Katelyn and she’ll understand…you should try giving her a chance in your heart again and do same to Lisa… explain it to her and ask her to leave you alone”
“What?” I yelped…
“Yes Mhen…that’s the best thing to do….. It’s gonna hurt her but she’ll be fine… look I know you more than anyone else Tyler…you’re just confused right now…you don’t know whom you’re in love with…. Katelyn or Lisa”
He said and drank from his wine…
And for a moment I gave a thought to what he said…
“I love you Tyler and that’s why I want you to be happy…..you’re my best friend…
“And besides your parents aren’t gonna be happy if they hear about this I swear.. expecially your mother…..” He said and I sighed and emptied my glass …

I opened the door and got into the living room…
Ahh..
My head…
It hurts a bit…
I think i had too much to drink so I tried to be more careful with my steps
“Tyler…
I heard Katelyn’s called and I looked up to see her standing a bit far from me…
I locked the door behind and walked in slowly…
She came a little close and I looked at her…
Oh…
She had that worried face on.
“Tyler…are you drunk?”
She asked in a shaky voice and I sighed…
Why’s she so scared??
Does my presence really scare her this much??
I decided to give an answer to her question.
“Maybe a little…” I replied and she came close to me….
She stood in front of me…
“It’s not wise to get drunk Tyler… what ever it is you’re going through you can share”
She said and lowly reached for my tie and tried remove it from my neck…
She wasn’t that tall so she just stood on her toe…
And for the first time…
I didn’t push or shout at her.
She untied it and helped me sat on the couch.
She also took of my shoes and my suit jacket.
I just kept staring at her as she do everything carefully…
She looked at me and placed her hand on my forehead.
“I think your temperature is high Tyler”
“Let me get you a lemonade to ease the alcohol first okay?” She said and all I did nodded…
