Adele’s pov ?

My eyes snapped opened at the loud blaring of my phone’s ringtone.. I sleepily reached for and received the call without checking the caller’s ID.

“Hello!” I yelled at whoever called me.

“Yo.. miss Rodgers, good morning to you too” a familiar voice responded.

My eyes grew wider and I made to sit up abruptly, but an arm tightly wrapped around my waist kept pulling me down.

“Arthur?”

“The one and only” he replied.

I smiled.

“It’s a surprise that you called me, is Jasmine’s phone not reachable?” I asked.

He went silent, then I heard shuffling sound as though he’s moving.

“We talked last night, I just wanted to inform you I’m back…”

He’s back? Wasn’t he supposed to arrive today? Or did I mistook the date?

“…you know, before you hear it from Jas and send me to an early grave”

“Oh”

I smiled…

That was before when I was still obsessed with him, I’d be sad and angry when he informs Jas about everything he does… everything that goes on in his life.

Honestly, I’m quite shocked they didn’t end up together.. they were like the power couple!

“Right… I tried reaching Jasmine this morning, but the reception is kinda bad.. I couldn’t hear her clearly…”

I rolled my eyeballs, it’s all about Jasmine after all.. he’s lucky Jas is my best friend.. I would have jealously killed her by now.

“… I wanted to invite her to my farmhouse”

“Your farmhouse?”

“Yeah”

“Why? You seldom goes there”

He sighed deeply.

“You know there’s is a very deep misunderstanding between Jasmine and Victoria… ”

“Victoria?” I asked in a very confused tone.

“Yes.. my girlfriend”

His girlfriend? He had.. no, has a girlfriend? How come I know nothing about her? Why am I just hearing about her?

“I wanted to invite Jasmine, Victoria has a few words to say to her”

“Well, Jas… ”

I trailed off and searched for my alarm clock, I found it but my head grew bigger than a football when I saw the time.

I’m dead! Elvis is so gonna barbeque me!

“Adele? Are you still there?”

“Yeah”

“Please relay my message to Jas”

“I will but I have to go, I’m late for work” I said and hurriedly hanged up.

I turned to Clark, he’s still sleeping soundly and peacefully.

My eyes traced his features and I smiled, his sharp athletic jaws, his long eyelashes and pink kissable lips…oh my God! They’re tempting me right now!

But noooo, I must overcome this temptation.

His mouth is slightly opened made him look like a cute baby…he must be a chubby kid.

Looking at him and admiring him, brought back last night’s event and I blushed deeply.

I can’t believe I’ve given myself to Clark, he made me scream so much in pleasure last night.

He was so good, hitting every corner of my walls last night.. that was the best s£x I’ve ever had.. thankfully he’s my boyfriend now and I’ll keeping getting it from him now.

“Angel, just take a picture, it lasts longer” he said in a very deep voice.

I blushed, even his morning voice is to die for.

“I’m sorry, but I don’t need a picture while you’re right within my reach”

He laughed shortly, pulled me closer and crashed his lips on mine.. engaging us in a brief make out.

“Are you going to work today?” He asked.

I rolled my eyeballs at his question.

“Of course”

“I’ll drop you off”

“Wow..thank you”

He hummed, just when I was about to get off the bed..his phone rang and he reached for it.

“Mom?” He said immediately he saw his mom’s name flashing on the screen.

He stared at the screen with a frown for a moment.

“Why is mom calling me so early in the morning?”

He questioned himself quietly, but I heard him since he’s still holding me.

He passed me a confused and…scared look? Anyways, I signaled him to receive the call, which he did at once.

“Mom.. good morning” he greeted his mom.

There is a brief silence as he listened to his mother.

“Huh?”

Another brief silence.

“Mom, I don’t think that’s necessary…”

He shut up at once and flinched, as if his mother shouted at him.

“Fine.. I’ll tell her” he said and hanged up.

We both sat up and he took my hands in his, he stared in my eyes and sighed.

“What happened? What did your mom say?” I asked.

I pray it doesn’t have to do with yesterday’s dinner, but even I know God won’t answer this prayer.. it’s obviously about it.

“She invited you over” he replied.

“Invited me over?” He nodded. “Over to where?” I asked.

“Their mansion”

Their mansion? What do they want from me?

“W-why is she inviting me over?”

He shrugged.

“I don’t know yet, but we’ll know when we get there” he replied.

“Well, I just pray they don’t kill me for ruining things yesterday”

Clark laughed at my imagination, he pulled my nose softly.

“They won’t and can’t kill you”

I nodded.

“So… when do they want me to come over?”

“They didn’t choose a particular time.. we can go over after you’re closed from work”

I nodded, leaned closer to him and pecked his cheek.. then hopped off the bed.

“I should go bath and get ready for work” I said.

Jasmine’s pov ?

“Baby, kss momma good bye”

Davis leaned forward and pecked my cheek, I pecked his forehead and smiled at him.

“Alright, baby, listen to your teacher and don’t fight your classmates.. ok?”

“Yes, momma.. I love you”

“I love you more, baby” I caressed his cheek. “Go on” I gestured towards his classroom.

He turned and rushed into his classroom, he waved me good bye and I blew him a kss.. he caught it and put it on his forehead.. he started giggling.

I waved and headed towards the exit, few meters away from the exit gate.. I saw Mich.

“Hey, Jas” she greeted me with a smile.

But I didn’t smile, I narrowed my eyes at her. I know how she tried to flirt with my Thanatos, he told me about it few days ago.

She tilted her head as if she’s looking for someone, Thanatos I guess.

“You brought Davis to school alone?”

“Were you expecting someone else to bring him?” I asked her back.

She chuckled and shook her head.

“No, no, no… it’s just, I’m surprised to see you brought him to school yourself today…”

She coughed lightly and started playing with her hair, there’s a fan girl dreamy look in her eyes.

“…you know, his father has been the one bringing him to school.. you know, Davis is very handsome just like his fath…”

“Shut up, Mich!” I interrupted.

Her eyes met mine, she flinched back slightly and wiped off that silly smile and dreamy eyes.

“Thanatos is my husband, he told me about your misconduct last time.. don’t let this rubbish repeat itself again.. ”

I trailed off and walked towards her, she took steps backwards and almost lost her balance.. but I caught her hand.

“.. if I hear talk about my husband or look at him flirtatiously.. I swear, I’ll cut off your tongue and pluck out your eyes.. feed them to vultures!”

Mich shook her head, her eyes filled with fear.. I smirk. Am I really that scary today?

“Be a good girl and a good man will definitely come your way!” With that I walked towards Peter.

He smiled when I approached him, he glanced at Mich inside the school premises.

“Mrs O’Briens, what were you doing to that girl?” He asked.

“Nothing, I was just teaching her some morals” I replied.

He hummed and nodded.

“Your husband is very cruel when he wants to and you’re fearless… you’re really his match”

I paused and stared at him.

“Does your boss know you talk this much?”

He laughed and shook his head.

“Let’s go” I said and got in the car.

*She’s coming!*

*I can’t believe she’d do something as dirty as this!*

*But she look so decent, how could she stoop so low?*

What’s going on? Why is everyone talking and pointing at me? What happened here?

I look around and frowned in confusion, when I noticed everyone is staring judgementally.

“Jasmine!” Elvis called me.

He’s standing by the counter, I quickly rushed towards him.. I know he’s gonna scold me.

“Good morning, Elvis” I greeted him with a smile.

He didn’t reply me, rather he grabbed my arm and pulled me to a corner.. he frowned.

“Jas, what’s going on?” He asked.

“What’s going on?” I asked back.

That’s the question I had asked myself, when I stepped into the restaurant.

“Mr O’Briens.. what’s going on between you two?” He asked again.

“Nothing” I replied.

“Eish.. I know you’re both a couple, but did something happened between you two?”

Ok.. I don’t understand his question.

“Did you have a fight?”

A fight? Wait.. that call last night is Thanatos really taking it seriously?

“Mr O’Briens told us he’s expecting a very important guest today.. did you know about that?”

“Yeah.. he told me he’s meeting with his partner’s assistant”

Elvis’s frown deepened at once.

“Assistant? But she said she’s Mrs O’Briens..”

“Mrs O’Briens?!”

“Yes, does Mr O’Briens has a brother? Is she his brother’s wife?”

Mrs O’Briens.. could that be Henry’s mother? But if it’s her, what would she be doing here?

No, it can’t be her.

Jade.. it’s Jade!

How did she know Thanatos is here at Mike’s kitchen? Unless.. she’s Mr McMahon’s assistant!

“… that’s what I don’t understand, he should…”

I toned him off and rushed towards Thanatos office, what is that imp planning to do?

“Jas, where are you rushing off to?” Adele stopped me halfway.

“I’ll tell you later” I replied her without stopping.

Jade shouldn’t try anything funny, or I swear if heaven isn’t by her side.. I’ll send her to an early grave.

I stopped outside Thanatos office, I pressed my ear against the door but couldn’t hear anything from inside.

The silence doesn’t sit well with me, I grabbed the door handle and pushed it opened.

Lo and behold.. my eyes captured a very heartbreaking scene..

Thanatos is laying on the sofa bed in his office, his lower body is nked and Jade’s lower body is also nked.. she’s riding him.

I narrowed my eyes at Jade, my fists balled beside me and my jaw clenched.

“Jade! How desperate can you be?!” I growled.

She faced me, she locked gaze with me and smirked.. she started riding him faster.

“How do you feel seeing me ride my husband?”

I gritted my teeth, great anger erupted from the deepest part of my stomach.

Before I knew I’m standing in front of her, I grabbed her blouse and pulled her away from Thanatos… I glared at her.

“You shameless slvt! I’ll make you regret coming here!” I growled.

I turned to Thanatos and noticed he’s not moving, but why?

“What can you do?” She asked.

I ignored her and walked towards the door, I locked it from the inside.. then turned back to Jade.

“W-why did you lock the door?” She stuttered.

I ignored her again and walked towards Thanatos, I searched my bag and pulled out my bottle of water… I poured it on Thanatos.

He sprang up at once and started looking around, his eyes landed on Jade’s half naked body and he quickly looked away.

“Thanatos what happened here?” I asked him calmly.

He turned to face me, he shook his head in denial.

“Baby, trust me, I don’t know…”

“But you’re naked” I told him.

He looked down at himself and gasped, he searched for his pants and quickly wore it.

“Baby, I swear.. I didn’t do anything with her.. I didn’t touch her…”

I’m angry.. so d*mn angry at him for letting Jade have her, but this is not the time to deal with him.. I should first deal with my sister.

“… trust me, you have to trust me, I swear, I wouldn’t look at another woman, I wouldn’t dare, baby please trust me”

I smiled at him and held his face in my palm, I caressed his cheeks softly and pecked his lips.

“Of course, I trust you, I will always trust you”

Jade scoffed loudly.

“Stop pretending.. just leave and…”

“SHUT UP!!” I yelled at her.

I handed my bag to Thanatos and took predatory steps towards her.

“I have never for once thought of forgetting our sisterhood, but you’ve made me forget it today!”

“W-what are.. you doing?”

“I’ll forget you’re my elder sister today and fight you like rival”

A gush of energy rushed through my veins and without much words, I pounced at her and grabbed her hair, she started dragging her hair with me.

While she’s trying to pull her hair away from me, I used it to my advantage and started pu nching her face.

“You think you’re pretty right?”

I kicked her leg and she fell down, I quickly sat on her and continued pu nching her face.. though she’s trying to block my pu nches but she’s not having any luck.

“I’ll” punch “Make” punch “your” punch “Pretty” punch “face” punch “Ugly!” Punch punch punch.

My knuckles are filled with her blood already, her mouth is spouting blood.. I guess I broke a few teeth, but I don’t care.

Her face is now having different colors, but I wasn’t satisfied yet.. there’s this feeling inside me that is pushing me to continue… I can’t seem to control myself.

This only happened when I was pregnant with Davis.. but that aside, I must teach Jade a lesson.

“Baby, she’s had enough…”

I threw him a glare and he shut up immediately, he stepped back and gestured me to carry on.

I got off her, walked towards him and unbuckled his belt, then turned back to Jade.

She’s breathing heavily on the floor, she’s doddering about but that didn’t stop me from what I wanna do.

I landed the b elt on her and she howled in pain.

“Jas.. Jas.. Jasmine, we’re.. sisters..”

I scoffed.

“Sisters?!”

I landed the b elt on her again.. oh, I forgot to tell you.. right from our childhood, I’ve always been stronger than Jade.

“If we’re sisters, you wouldn’t fk my man!”

I started wh ipping her continuously with the b elt, I heard Adele banging the door but I paid no attention.

My heart, mind and soul is solely on Jade, all I want is to teach her a lesson she wouldn’t forget in her whole life.

“You mustn’t take what belong to me! Never!”

I’m suddenly grabbed from behind, and Thanatos snatched the belt from me.

“Jas, that’s enough.. you’re gonna kill her” Adele told me.

I guess Thanatos opened the door for her, which made me glared at him. I pushed Adele off me.

One thing is, when I’m angry, one can stop me from doing what I wanna do.

I began stomping on Jade’s stomach.

“Pee his $perm out! Pee it out!” I growled.

Adele grabbed me again and pulled me away from Jade, I breath heavily and tried to get away from Adele.. but she held me tighter this time.

“That’s enough, Jas, do you wanna murder your sister?” She snapped at me.

“I don’t care if I do.. she fked my man!”

“I know, I know.. but let’s take her to the hospital first, we can talk about other things later”

I managed to get away from her grip, I glared at Jade’s unconscious body on the ground.

My body is still shaking from anger, I still felt like beating get more.

“I need to leave or I’ll kill her!”

Thanatos came closer to me.

“Come on, baby, I’ll drive you home”

I narrowed my eyes at him.

“Don’t call me baby!” I snapped at him. “My sister fked my husband..what was my husband doing then?!”

“I…”

I looked towards the door, Elvis and some staffs are standing by the door watching..
