Hours later
I sat beside Jay’s gate, I have been here for hour’s now, I can’t go home today I have been crying today and my eyes look so puffy.
I saw his car coming and I stood up, he drove to where I was and came down.
What the h.ell are you doing here he yelled angrily at me.
Jay please am sorry I said crying.
I don’t ever want to see you near my house, get lost. He screamed at me, then entered his car and drove off.
I cried my eyes out as I walked back to my house. As I looked at the house I was living in, I couldn’t believe am back .
I opened the door and entered only to meet the shocker of my life all the things he bought for me were gone and I left my phone in my room in his mansion. I was left with my polythene bag of clothes, my bicycle and the wrapped with a bucket. I feel so useless right now.
I didn’t have any money with me, I feel so hungry right now haven’t eaten since morning.
I spread the cloth on the ground and laid on it but a loud bang on the door made me get up.
I quickly pushed the door open only to meet the shocker of my life the guy that saved me, he was looking all furious.
He immediately grabbed me by my neck and pushed me in and shut the door.
Why did you have to beat up Mabel he said angrily.
Just kill me I said laying down on my cloth.
You live here he asked shocked.
Don’t be surprised I said and smiled out tears.
How did you get to glamous high school? He asked.
A guy helped me I said and narrated everything to him.
Am sorry he said and walked out.
Moments later, he came back in with food and placed it in front of me.
Eat up he said starring at me.
Thanks I said and munched the food hungrily.
What about your parents? He asked when I was done.
Don’t wanna talk about it I said.
You can give me a call tomorrow. I can get you a work before you die of hunger, take care he said and gave me a card.

No idea I said and winked at him.

Next morning
I woke up and looked outside. I knew I was already late. I rushed to the bathroom and took my bath. I wore my uniform, that was when I remembered that I can’t go to school.
I sighed and pulled it off, I picked up my old skirt and top and wore it. I miss my clothes.
I rolled my bicycle out of the house as I rode on my bicycle, you need to see the way people were starring at me.
I parked my bicycle when I got to the address, it was a restaurant, I entered and I saw him sitting with a girl, but why do I have this feeling his faking his life.
Good morning I said immidiately I got to him.
You are here he asked.
So you got yourself a new btch the girl beside him flared up immediately.
Came down babe, I just wanna employ her he said .
Oh am sorry for my manners she said.
No problem I said smiling.
Uhm sorry to ask but your parents are rich why are you looking for a job she asked.

So Mara you go get to work, your shift starts now and since you are not going to school it would end at 6, don’t worry the pay is good he said.
