Danny’s Pov
Last night at the party was hot. I never knew Mara was that strong, she even gave Mabel’s mom a sl@p to keep herself in check so sweet.
But I smell trouble.
Mabel is still at the hospital receiving treatment, I can’t help but feel guilty, I spoilt her this wa. I could see she has been clingy to that bodyguard of hers lately.
I regret spoiling her in the first place. The Mabel I knew was a sweet loving girl, but not anymore but I still miss her, can’t still believe she broke up with me.
Danny who was that girl that looks exactly like James’s daughter my mom asked entering my room.
What are you doing here I yelled angrily at her.
My child she said as she came towards me, I was shocked, she never calls me her child.
Are you sure you are normal I said shifting back.
Danny am really sorry for the way I treated you all this years, for not giving you the mortherly love you always wanted, your dad caused this she said.
What do you mean? I asked.
When your dad and I got married, we were living fine as a couple, but when you were due to diliver, his character changed that was when I knew he was having extra marital affairs.
I confronted him about it but he beat me up, I almost lost you, I had to give birth to you prematurly, but he cared less.
I wanted to leave but where will I go, I had no parents am just an orphan.
I took care of you till you turned five and I couldn’t bear it anymore I started following men.
Am really sorry, child please forgive me. My mom said crying.
I didn’t know I was crying until a tear rolled down my cheek.

Thanks son, she said and patted my back softl. I would go prepare your breakfast after that we are going to visit that girl.
I smiled on my bed, my manager didn’t attend my birthday, he said he’s busy, am not gonna forgive him.

Danny come take your breakfast I heard my mom yell from the kitchen.
Coming mom! I said and jumped up from bed. I looked at my reflection in the mirror, always cute. I rushed and quickly took my bath.
Mara’s Pov
I heard a loud bang on the door and I stood up, I remember crying till I slept yesterday. Can’t I be happy am gonna make that woman and her daughter pay, no matter how long it takes.
I looked at the time, it was 12 noon can’t believe I had been sleeping all this while.
Get you a$$ out here. I heard Danny yell from outside.
I quickly rushed to the bathroom and wash my face then brush my teeth.
Mara you are getting on my nerves I heard him say.
I quickly rushed and opened the door only to meet Danny standing with a woman, it seems I saw her at the party yesterday.
Please, come in I said as I led them in.
Mara meet my mom Danny said.
Your house looks nice. She said.
Thanks ma, and you are welcome, I never knew you were coming, sorry for my manners. What can I offer you? I said nervously.
Mara, you are sweating. Danny said and chuckled.
I can see you are really nervous, it seems you didn’t meet your parents she said and I just nodded.
Mara you see I really like you, am an orphan just like you, I never got to meet my parents till now but am still alive. But you might be lucky to meet yours, I won’t be surprised if Mabel’s parents are yours. She said.
No that is rubbish, they can never be my family, infact I don’t have a family, and I don’t need them in my life anymore. I had suffered too much. I was referred to as badluck. I was r@ped twice in the street. I said crying and Danny pulled me into a hug.
Am sorry dear, yours is more painful. She said and patted me, but if you need anything, feel free to let me know, am off to work she said and out after kssing my cheeks.
Wow can’t believe the almighty Mara is crying Danny said teasing me.
I thought you were mad at me after what I did yesterday at your birthday party I said looking directly into his eyes.

I can’t he said and put his l!ps into my mouth and for some weard feelings, I opened up to him and kssed him back, he was teasing my l!ps as he pressed my bu.tt s0ftly and I m0an but what I feel is no way compared to Jay’s, l his looks alone turns me on.
Let’s go to your room he said and I nodded as he carried me up and walked to my room.
He closed the door with his legs and put me on my b.ed, he continued kssing me and I couldn’t help but m0an.
He pulled 0ff my shirt and I was only left with my br.a, he trailed wet ksses on my b0dy to my th!ghs, suddenly the door burst open. It was Jay!
Sht I said as I quickly slipped from Danny’s arms.
I put on a shirt I saw and ran after him.
Jay Please wait I said as he was about entering his car and he stopped.
Mara haven’t you hurt me enough he said crying, I could feel the hurt in his voice.
I felt guilty all of a sudden.
Why does it have to be my best friend, you are sleeping with him right, he asked.
Jay stop all this drama you hurt me first remember, you did worst than me, stop behaving like a saint I said pissed off.
But I didn’t have sx with anyone he said.
Do I look like I care? I said and turned around. Please, stop coming after me, am not your type am too low for you remember, I said and I locked the door only to come in face with Danny.
You are being too harsh on him he said.
Don’t start I said and smack his head.
Ouch he gr0aned and the next thing we were chasing ourselves around the house.
Jay’s Pov
Yes I finally lost her
I let my jealousy get in the way, I watched as she and Danny ran around the house I felt so pained, but I can’t lose my best friend.
I drove to the nearest club I need to drink away all my sorrows.
