A NIGHT’S MISTAKE
EPISODE FIFTEEN
? ALEXANDER ?
My hands trembled as we both headed outside, ever so gently.
Once outside, Ryan’s mom and I fled the compound, ignoring the securities.
“What… What… Do we do!” I stammered. I’ve never been so frightened all my life.
Ryan’s mom glared hard at me. “We’ve got to inform the police fast about this before he disposes her body. ” Ryan’s mom said.
I was breathing fast by the time we got to the station.
” I want to see my son… Just let me see him! ” Ryan’s mom cried at the reception.
Soon, we were taken to the visiting room. Ryan came out and both mother and son embraced.
I watched them and smiled but I still felt uneasy as I remembered ma’am Anna’s limp body.
“Alex…are you okay?” Ryan asked me once he disengaged from his mom.
I tried smiling but I ended up looking scared. “No! Something’s happened and we have to tell the police right now!” I whispered.
” Mom? What happened? ” Ryan asked.
“He killed his wife. Mr Brooke.”
? DARLA ?
I left the house Immediately Alex did. I had to know what my daughter is up to with that cursed family.
So I went to the house. I vowed never to step my feet there but I just can’t watch Alex falling a prey for them.
“What do you want?” A security man stopped me from coming into the compound.
I glared angrily at him. “I’m here for my daughter not you. Back off.” I said looking grimly at him.
Does he think I’m here to beg?
“No one is around here ma’am but I can direct you to the police station and the hospital if you want. You will find them there.”the security make said.
” Police station? Hospital?” I asked again.
“Yeah. Everyone went there. I’m sure you must have heard what happened to their son through a thief. Are you family or friend?” The security man probed on.
I nodded just so he could direct wherever the police station or hospital is.
Afterwards,he told me all I needed to know and I set off.
?MARTIN?
“What are you doing about that brat of a criminal,Mr Man?
I need that boy to be persecuted as soon as possible.
My poor boy is in the hospital suffering!” I yelled as I banged my hands on the table at the reception.
“Sorry sir… please calm down. We are doing everything possible to help this case.” The police man behind the counter said.
It only aggravated me. I was gonna say something more when some people came inside. The maid child and a strange woman.
“You are here first.” The woman said glaring at me.
” And who is this,Alex?” I asked angrily.
“She’s Ryan’s mother…the boy held responsible for Daniel’s attack.” Alex replied.
” Oh. If you are here you bail him out,it’s not gonna work. He almost killed my son!”I thundered.
The woman laughed with amazement. “He almost? No! Never! My son will never do that!” She yelled angrily.
“Let’s see if he comes out of that D@mned place! I will make him suffer for this!”
” It wasn’t Ryan! He tried to r@pe me…so… I attacked him!”Alex cried.
” No,you didn’t attack him!!”
Someone yelled behind me. I turned and froze as I saw my once se*ductive secretary coming into the reception.
? DARLA?
“Darla… Darla??” A woman shrieked behind me. I turned and behold Ariel glaring at me.
Ariel! The nurse!
All hell was let opened as I rushed at her. “Ariel..you thief! What happened to my son! Where did you take him!” I cried, forgetting Alex was there hearing everything that I’ve kept secret all these years.

Things were fast getting complicated. Mom knows Ryan’s mom?
A son? Why would Ryan’s mom have mom’s son?
What son? Do I have a brother??

The truth will surely surface…no matter what!!??
