Stanley finally bought his hands down. He really enjoyed annoying Jaden.
“So you were messing with me right?” Jaden asked and they laughed
“Yes” Stanley answered
“You should have seen your face” Elena said
“It was all puffed up” Kira said and they laughed again
“You people are not being fair to me” He pouted
“Awwwn” They said in unison and Elena hugged him
“Don’t mind them okay?”She said
“You were one of us Elena” Kira complained
“Stop spoiling my show” Elena said and they laughed
They gisted,had lots of fun before leaving for their rooms.

THE NEXT DAY
ANOTHER SIDE OF GATRISH
MITCHELL’S PARENTS HOUSE
It was a fout bedroom bungalow with neat and beautiful interior designs.
Another good thing about Gatrish is that,the king did not allow his subjects leave in thatch houses or huts.
He made sure to provide a good and comfortable shelter for them all but those who were rich like Mitchell’s parents made theirs better.
Mitchell had walked through the night. She didn’t have any money on her so she walked all the way from school to her house. She got to the house and knocked on the door which got opened by her junior sister
“Mitchell what are you doing at home?” The girl asked
“Have you forgotten how to greet Valerie?” Mitchell asked her 17 year old sister who was already dressed up for school
“I haven’t forgotten how to greet. I’m only surprised why you are home or did you piss Uncle Martins up that he couldn’t put up with you then sent you out of school?” Valerie said
“What made you think that?” Mitchell asked
“Because I know the kind of sister I have”
“Don’t make me tear your mouth into shreds this morning” Mitchell threatened
“I’d like to see you try” Valerie snapped
“What’s going on here?” Their mother came and looked over Valerie’s shoulder only to see Mitchell with her bags
“Good morning mother” Mitchell smiled nervously
“What are you doing out of school?” Her mother asked ignoring the greeting
“Can I come in first?” Mitchell asked
Her mother gave way and she glared at Valerie before entering the house. She and Valerie never saw eye to eye.
Valerie didn’t like Mitchell’s cold attitude from the start. She was 4 years younger than Mitchell but still advices her to quit her misbehaviors but Mitchell turned her to a foe instead.
They never did things normal sisters should do but leave like strangers instead.
All efforts by their parents to stop this cold attitude they have towards each other was futile.
Whenever Valerie wants to talk or play with Mitchell,Mitchell would push her away instead claiming they weren’t mates.
Mitchell entered and saw Mr Hogan,her father
“Good morning Father” She greeted
“Morning. Is anything the matter?” Mr Hogan asked looking at her
He already knew what happened. Seeing his daughter coming back from College with all her bags could only mean one thing. She has been expelled
Mitchell sat down while her mother closed the door and came to sit beside her husband
“I was expelled” She replied
“I said it”Valerie said and Mitchell shot her a glare
“What happened?” Mrs Mae who was her mother asked
“What could have happened if not her misbehaviors? I wonder what came into Martins this time that he let you out of school” Her father complained
“Uncle Martins was kicked out by the princess” Mitchell said and everyone gasped
“If the princess kicked him out,it means his offence was a great one.
You see what I’ve been saying? I’ve told Martins my brother to behave himself but he won’t listen.
I’ve also warned you Mitchell to stay out of trouble but your pride won’t let you obey me. Now see the outcome of your stupidity” Mr Hogan was bitter about Mitchell’s behavior
“Tell us how all these happened?” Her mother said
“It’s a long story” Mitchell pouted
“Cut it short” Valerie said and wanted to sit
“Valerie go to school” Her father snapped
“Fine” She grabbed her bag and left
“Now tell us,we’re all ears” Mr Hogan said

MONDAY…
Elena got dressed and was waiting for Jaden to come for her. Kira won’t be going with her today. She wanted Kira to spend some time with Stanley.
She looked in her mirror and sighed
“Nervous?” Kira asked
“A little” She smiled softly
“Don’t worry. You’re going to rock this” Kira said and she nodded
They heard a knock on the door
“I guess that’s Jaden” She opened the door and saw him standing there looking handsome. He wore jeans trousers and a t shirt
“Are you ready?” He asked
“I think so” She smiled
He took her hand
“Bye and have fun” Kira said
“You too” Jaden winked at her

THE KINGDOM OF ZULU
They finally arrived in the kingdom and went straight to the palace. The gate was opened for them and they entered.
Elena got nervous even though she knew the King will accept her but she just couldn’t stop that feeling.
“Are you okay?” Jaden asked as they walked to the royal courtroom
“Yes I am” She nodded
They got in and there he was. King Zaire was in his royal robe sitting comfortably on his throne. When he saw them,his eyes wouldn’t leave Elena. He felt that he had seen her somewhere before but where?
They finally got to where he was seated and Jaden bowed while Elena curtsied
“Long live King Zaire” Elena greeted and he smiled
“Good afternoon Father” Jaden greeted too
“How are you?” He asked
“I’m fine Father”
They were given a seat and Elena sat down while Jaden sat beside her
“Derrick?” The king called
“Yes father”
“Is this the lady you told me about?”
“Yes Father”
“Wow,she is really beautiful. You have good eyes and taste my son” He smiled
“Thank you Father”
“Go and change your clothes Derrick. I need to talk to my daughter in law” The King smiled at her
“Okay” Jaden stood up,gave Elena a reassuring smile before leaving
“So what is is your name?” He asked
“My name is Elena Your majesty” She replied
“What kindgdom are you from?”
“Gatrish” She answered
“I can’t help but ask if we have met before. You look really familiar”
Elena cleared her throat and looked back to see if Jaden was coming. She isn’t good at lying and she needs his help now
The king still looked at her closely but he couldn’t remember
“Save yourself the stress father,she is someone you know” Jaden said
“Why haven’t you changed your clothes?” The king asked
“My room door was locked. I know it’s Marcus doing” Jaden said
“So you say I know her?”
“Yes father”
“But I can’t remember who she is” King Zaire pouted and Elena giggled
“She is Princess Helen” Jaden said and that was when it dawned on the king
“I thought as much. This is amazing” King Zaire was overjoyed
“Welcome to my family Princess”
“Thank you your majesty”
Jaden looked back and saw Marcus his brother with eyes wide opened.
Marcus has been teasing him that he will never find a wife talk more of a princess but was shocked when he heard Jaden telling their father that the lady sitting down was Princess Helen
“Hello Marcus. You better close your mouth before flies pay you a visit there” Jaden said and Marcus glared at him
“Tell me my son. How did it happen?” The king asked
“Fate…Father…Fate” Jaden said
“I’m so happy. I’ll try and see the king of Gatrish right away. Welcome Helen”
“Thank you Your majesty”
“This calls for celebration”
The king ordered the maids to prepare the most exquisite meal in all the kingdoms. His joy knew no bounds

LATER THAT DAY
THE KINGDOM OF GATRISH
King Darius had asked for the presence of King Remegius on the ground that he sign the peace treaty since it was sent to his kingdom and he sent it back without signing it. But King Remegius is being adamant.
“King Darius,this war must go on whether you like it or not” King Remegius snapped
“What is the reason for the war anyway?” Caleb asked
“My reasons are best known to me” He replied
“But what about lives and properties?” King Darius asked
“I don’t care except you’re scared of me”
“Never”
“Then the war must go on”
“King Remegius,it’s like you’ve forgotten you are in our territory so stop raising your voice” Elena was back and had already changed her clothes
“Princess Helen,what a pleasure to finally meet you in person. I’ve heard a lot about you” King Remegius smiled
“The pleasure is all mine” She walked in and bowed to her father
“So you are bent on going to war with us right?” She asked
“Yes” King Remegius answered
She turned and talked with her father before turning to face him
“If it’s a war you want then it’s a war you will get but I have a condition” She said
“I’m all ears”
“The war will take place on the border separating our kingdom from yours in order to avoid the loss of innocent lives”
King Remegius glanced at Zaki and Zaki gave him a go ahead nod.
“That’s okay by me” He said
“Good” Helen bowed and left for her room
The king smiled. His daughter was going to be a great queen
King Remegius stood up and left while Zaki stepped out to the gate
When he was finally outside the gate,he moved to where Olivia hid and she came out to meet him.
“How did it go?” She asked
“The war is on Olivia” Zaki replied
“So? What’s the next step?”
“My target is the princess and I want you to get rid of her on the battle ground”
