Chapter 94

Claribel suddenly broke the silence, sensing the sadness in the atmosphere

“Where’s Cathy?” She said curiously, searching for answers in their eyes

“Cathy is d.ead, Roxanne stabbed her thrice” Ann said

Claribel gasped, Andrea and Dylan doesn’t know who Cathy really is so they only kept quiet

“What?!”

“I tried saving her again like I did three years ago but it just wasn’t possible, She was stabbed the third time that led to her d.eath”

Claribel’s eyes almost popped out of its socket, they were widened so broadly

“Oh my!!!!!” She gasped

“Who is she and why did she fight for me..?” Dylan asked weakly

Ann’s tears fell freely

“She’s my sister and the only family I had left” she cried

Claribel was stunned, everything was just so confusing and surprising..

“Roxanne has wanted her dead since three years ago” Ann added

“I don’t understand, why was Roxanne h’ll bent on klling her..” Claribel said confusedly as a tear slipped from the corner of her eyes

“Her death was a mistake, She was mistaken to be Dylan’s lover..” Deanna said, her tears were flowing freely and were rolling down her cheeks

“Roxanne’s intention is to kll every woman that Dylan loves since she couldn’t have him, Mariana was her first target after her daughter clocked three months..” Deanna continued

Dylan was overwhelmed with guilt

He’s the cause of this..!

“And this same Mariana is my sister!!’ Claribel said, her eyes were getting red already

Deanna furrowed her brows in surprise

“What..?!”

“She’s my elder sister!!, my granny told me but never told me who she really is, but Catherine told me and Roxanne even said it herself” Claribel said amidst tears

“Oh my.., no wonder I’d always sensed the connection and resemblance” Deanna thought still surprised

“Dad..” Alexandrea turned to Dylan, her tears began pouring from her cute little eyes

“You lied to me.. my mum is dead, right from when I was three months” she cried bitterly

Her tears were hot on her cheeks and her temperature increased immediately, She was already feeling a throbbing headache

She turned to Deanna

“Sweetheart, you also lied to me..”

She turned to Ann in tears, shaking weakly

“Even you..”

“Andrea.. ” Deanna tried comforting

“No please! I’d lived without motherly care for years and all you did was to lie that my mom was in Korea, I hate you!” She cried

“I’m sorry..” Dylan cried

Claribel cried more bitterly and pulled Andrea to a tight embrace, consoling her

“So you mean Roxanne is really my father’s bride, She said so!” Andrea said like an adult after disengaging from the hug

All gaze landed on Dylan as he made to reply,

“No she’s not, She only has kids for me, twins. .” He said

“They are not your children!” Deanna retorted

Everywhere became silent

“They are.. Deanna” Dylan said tearfully

Claribel was crying non stop.. the past keeps haunting the present, hindering her love

“How can you be so sure..” Deanna muttered

“Run a DNA test..” she added

“Anna..”

“That”s the only way to confirm” Ann interrupted

“I’m sorry” Dylan said to Claribel taking her palm in his but she sI.apped his hands off in uncontrollable tears

“Don’t touch me!”

“I’d met with Cathy before the fight and that was how I knew her..” Claribel begun, staring completely into the space, she’d wiped her tears already and her eyes were damn red
