“Yunno.. right from the very first day I set my eyes on you, I knew you are a very $tup!d person and as if I knew, your name was just the right definition of stupidity..” he scoffed, taking a pause

“Well, say no word.. just follow me to the principal’s office while I call the cops to take you to where you belong to” he said

They got on their knees immediately, like it was planned

“Harold.. Harold please”

“We can settle this between ourselves”

“I promise it won’t happen again”

The trio started pleading, hoping he would reconsider but he never did

“I won’t repeat myself again.. and for that bstard that ran away, he’ll surely come back himself..” he said

“Catherine would be buried tomorrow” Deanna said and immediately, silence in grief followed

“Can’t believe I’ll be burying my own sister with my own hands” Annabelle said in tears

Claribel heaved a deep and silent breath as she stoke Andrea’s hair fondly

She suddenly broke the silence

“And where’s the dvil?!” She asked referring to Roxanne

“I drugged her already with a tranquilizer that will paralyze her and make her sleep for the next eight hours and then I locked her up in a room at the villa” Deanna said

“Why do I feel like something is wrong somewhere” Claribel’s mind mumbled

“I really don’t care if I go to jail, I’ll k¡’ll her with my bare hands” she said in determination

“I still don’t understand the relationship between Catherine and my sister.. like, how did she know Mariana and why was she hell bent on fighting for her” Claribel said again, landing her gaze on Annabelle

Ann sighed

“I sincerely don’t know how, I got to know the Langford’s family through Cathy and I only know she was so close to Mariana, I don’t know Mariana’s story and hiw they met” she said

Dylan groaned in pains as he managed to sit up

“If I’m right, Mariana once saved a lady who was almost drowning in an ocean called Catherine whom she always referred to as Cat after they becane friends.

They were so close and helped each other in troubles..

But when Mariana was dying, She left a note saying Cat should fight for her and avenge her death, could it be that…” He paused, feeling so confused

“But they Have different faces., its definitely not Cathy here” Dylan said, sounding like he was sure of himself

“Yes.. she’s the same person, her face got destroyed in the fire and started wearing a skin mask after she returned from Korea” Deanna replied

“You know about her relationship with Mariana too?” Claribel furrowed her brows

“Just a bit, I was in Caledonia when they knew each other, I only met Cathy once when Mariana was alive and we all went for a party that night..”

Claribel took a deep breath

“But I really don’t understand, why didn’t you know my mum is your sister” Andrea suddenly spoke

“I never knew I had a sister.. only up till when I started having strange and distant memories about two female kids who were seemingly close.

It all started when Dylan showed me the picture of his late wife which was unknown to me my sister.

One day, I saw a family picture which included an unfamiliar lady then I asked my grandmother who she is.. then…” She stopped

“Then?” Deanna furrowed her brows

“I got to realize that she’s only my step sister, my mother’s daughter whom my father never liked.

When she was eight, my mother was terribly sick then, he threw her out of the house in the rain and then the next day her body was no where to be found, only her clothes that was soaked in a pool of bI.ood” she said

Dylan’s eyes widened

“What..!” Deanna gasped

Lady Ann was shocked while Andrea was stunned

“How come.. how…” The remaining words got stucked in her throat when the door suddenly flew open and of course, it’s creaking sound followed

The doctor cane in as expected, beaming with smiles as he proceeded to check Dylan’s vitals

“You’re getting better” he said, removing the drip he had finished receiving

He turned to Ann

“The nurse needs to clean your wounds please”

” Ohh. ” she mouthed

“We can go now” she continued and the doctor moved her wheels out of the ward
