** ANOTHER WORLD**
~ROMEO APARTMENT ~
Marie pushed Romeo on the shoulders and he stopped the kss to stare down at her.
She had her eyes closed and when she finally opened them it was to look at him straight in the eyes.
“I need to leave for work” she muttered softly as she quickly moved out of his arms heading to her room but stopped when he spoke again.
“I must have taken you by surprise with my confession and am willing to give you time to think about it. I will be leaving for a week trip and when i get back I expect to hear your answer then”
“If it’s a yes then I will make you the most happiest woman on earth but if it’s a no then I won’t give up. I will meddle in your affairs, be your shadow and drive you crazy with attention until you say yes to me” He added and this brought Marie starring at him again.
“I love you Marie and I won’t give up on you” He vowed as she kept starring at him.
The ringing of the phone broke further conversation and Immediately Marie went into the confine of her room.
Still dazed by Romeo’s confession, she sat on the bed.
Romeo loves her, she just can’t believe that a man like him would be interested in her.
He had made it clear in the past that he didn’t desire her and would never see her as a woman, so how on earth did he come to being in love with her?
Her feelings for him is the same, she doesn’t love him and will never will, she thought to herself but another thought came to her.
She enjoyed his ksses and whenever he was close to her, her heart races and to top it all she had her first night with him. If it had happened with another guy she would have been going crazy but since it happened with Romeo she wasn’t bothered about it, she even felt relieved.
What’s it about Romeo that got her feeling this way? She hates him but why does that hate feels different? Why does it feel like she’s in…….
“It’s nothing Marie. You don’t feel the same way and that’s that” she said aloud to herself as she got ready for work.
She walked out of her room prepared to meet him with a frost attitude if he proved stubborn but instead of meeting Romeo like she expected it was a letter she saw.
*THE BUSINESS TRIP STARTS TODAY AND HAVE GOT TO LEAVE, I WOULD HAVE LOVE TO STAY AND TAKE CARE OF YOU BUT I KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF WITHOUT ME. LIKE I SAID, I WILL BE GONE FOR A WEEK AND I EXPECT TO HEAR YOUR ANSWER WHEN I RETURN *
Marie sighed out on reading the letter, she won’t have to see him for a week which was something good.
She kept feeling good as Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday went by but on Thursday she began to feel lonely, she didn’t know why but the thought of going back to Romeo’s empty pent house made her feel more lonely than ever.
She tried not to think about Romeo but that wasn’t possible since he is the owner of Brooks international.
Every of the employees in the company talked about him which made it hard for her to keep him out of her mind.
His apartment is the only place she doesn’t get to think of him, she thought as she sat on the sofa to turn on the TV while she munch on a snacks.
As soon as the TV was on she was surprised to see that it was a talk show, a talk show which had Romeo in it.
She sat listening to him answering every questions the host was asking him and for a while she was transfixed starring at his face, he must have done the talk show during his trip cause the hair style he had on was different.
“So Mr Brooks, tell us more about your love life. Are you still a playboy roving around ?” The host asked.
“My playboy days are over” he replied.
“Why? Have someone managed to capture your heart?” The Host asked again and this time Romeo stared intently at the camera before answering.
“Yes. Someone have stolen my heart and I hope that she will give me a chance to show her how much I love her”
Marie knew he was talking about her, she felt her heart constricting not because of pain but of something else.
Her heart kept pounding real hard that she had to put her hand on her chest wanting it to stop.
Turning off the TV did help the furious pounding of her heart but it didn’t stop her from thinking about Romeo.

~NEXT DAY~ AT THE OFFICE
It was lunch break and Marie was heading back to the kitchen when she was informed by the receptionist that Blake would like to see her.
The first thing that came to her mind was that Romeo was back. He and Blake had gone on the business trip so if Blake is back then Romeo will be too.
She knocked and when she heard Blake voice telling her to come in, she walked in expecting to see Romeo but it was only Blake she saw there.
“A gift for my friend wife” he said as he gave her the bouquet of flowers.
“You didn’t have to” she said but her reaction showed that she liked the gesture.
“You deserve it says Romeo” Blake said and she looked up at him in confusion.
