And then he hung up on me.

I wiped my tears,
I looked out of the window,

I kept telling my self and I made myself go blank and empty till the next hour drive to the show arena.
“We are there “he said to me and the moment I stepped out of the car,

Not even Daniel could save me even though he had helped me alot.
I was led into the hall and everywhere went wild once again.
It seemed like the dance I did yesterday made a very big ruse in the world.
Cyz everyone looked super excited to see me and not like last time.

I saw Riele from afar,
She was already dressed in her ballerina dresses,

I couldn’t smile back.

My heart is so empty to do all that.
I wiped a tear off my face and proceeded to the stage and then dissappeared from one end to go get my clothes.
Interviewers caught me up there,

They shouted all about me with their pens, microphones, papers while some had their computers and phones all over me.

I stood speechless looking from one face to another.
“Excuse me,
She has to do something “Daniel who happened to be following me all these while spoke out blocking them from reaching up to me.
“Thanks but I think…. ”
“No payback “he interrupted in a whisper,
“You have a lot on your heart and head to take care of,
You can pay me back someday in the future when you’re less busy “.
I smiled genuinely.
That was my first real smile for the day.
“I am solidly behind you Riley.. That’s what Carson would’ve said “he said and I frowned where Carson’s name was mentioned.
I nodded.
“Thanks Daniel ”
“Its okay,
Get this done!
Remember everyone is putting their faith in you that you can win,
Your father, your mother and Carson,
They are hoping so much that you will do them proud… ”
“Even my aunt?? “I snapped into his words.
“Yeah!
If you have one”he encouraged me.
I smiled,
I spread out my arms for a hug,
“Can I hug you? “I asked and he smirked,
“You’re paying me back already? “He asked and I shrugged.
“You can call it anything “I replied while he came into my arms,
I rested my head on his shoulder with my hands on his back.
