“Ma” a gentle hand tapped my leg and I woke up sitting up from the bed,
My eyes turned to the maid who bowed at me:
“Yes?? ”
“Uhm…. There’s someone here to see you”
“Who??? “I asked getting down from the bed and walked briskly into my living room where I met my maids all busy with the morning chores,
They greeted me the moment they set their eyes on me.
I bowed back and walked to the exit door and pushed it open,
I gasped at whom I saw standing at the door.
“Riele!!! “I went into a hug with her.
I looked her over after the hug,
“Oh my gosh!
Come in!!”she came in as I invited before I closed the door softly behind us,
“How did you get here?
When did you come to the capital?? ”
She shrugged.
“Well,
Yesterday,
I came on a date tho… ”
“So you’re not really going to get married to Damien?? ”
“Krrrr! “She scoffed and landed heavily on my soft pink couch,
“I told you that I won’t marry him! ”
“But your dead father wanted that! “I teased and she rolled her eyes at me,
“That’s not why I came here”
I sat down beside her on the couch and crossed my legs into each other.
“Why did you come? “I asked smiling when she sighed.
“Tell me… Have you started seeing someone? ”She asked looking at me sternly and I shook my head.
“No,
Why do you ask? ”
She sat up clearing her throat and looking straight into my eyes,
Before she began;
“Riley…. I know… I mean I know its hard but for seven months now,
Carson haven’t been himself”
I frowned as a very odd topic was brought up by her.
Why now?
My heart began to ache in pain again.
“So?? “I asked getting pissed off,
“He miss you”
“How??
I tried calling him,
I tried to be… ”
“He couldn’t face you cuz his dad killed your parents!!! “She snapped into my throat,
“But I didn’t care!
I couldn’t ask for justice cuz of him!! ”
“Doesn’t change the fact that his own father killed your parents!!
Do you know how I feel everyday??
Do you know how I feel whenever I look back and see that the reason why you don’t have parents today is because of my father… ”
“We are not talking about this!!! “I interrupted getting irritated.
“We are going to!!
Carson loves you!!
He really do!!
He’s not happy that he left you and he’s not okay that he’s watching you all the time from afar!!
He adorned his room with your pictures!! ”
I gasped looking into her eyes.
“I loved Carson! ”
“You still do right? “She asked me and I nodded my head as tears streamed down from my eyes.
Reason why I moved?
I couldn’t stand seeing him around when he won’t talk to me.
I was in h’ll!
The feeling was worse than a flesh wound.
I couldn’t bear it so I had to move down here,
To forget about him but each time I see him struggling for his talent as a singer on the tv,
Gets me so close to him again,
Close to the pain I left and I always felt bad about it,
“I do love him so much ”
She held my palms into hers,
“Make out time and see him before he dies off,
You guys might be missing each other who knows”
I wiped a tear off my eyes and nodded,
Maybe this is my last chance to get him back to my side or I will learn to forget about him forever….
