Chapter 22
Nicky turned to the shark and made that sound again and the shark replied.
“I asked her to wait for us” she stated, I twisted my brows at her in shock.
“That’s a ‘her’?” I asked as I pointed at the shark.
“Isn’t it obvious, do you think a male shark will be so kind to bring us here? Male species are not kind beings” Nicky stated as she stared at Alex with the corner of her eyes, I giggled.
“That’s not true” Alex argued.
“I know you will protest” Nicky laughed out. “Let’s go in” she said.
Alex carried me again. I wonder why he allowed them give me a frogman suit when he knew that he won’t let me swim at all.
He didn’t answer, weird. Is it that he can’t read my mind anymore?
“I just chose to Ignore you” he replied and we laughed. Crazy guy.
As we were swimming to the castle gate, the mermaids and mermen were staring at us in a way I didn’t understand.
“They are just curious about you two, they are not used to seeing strangers.” Nicky said. That makes sense.
FINDING REMEDY: Chapter 21 – 30
When we finally got to the gate, it opened by itself but some mermen whom I presumed to be the guards pointed their weird looking swords at us.
“Bring down your swords harmless mermen for there is no need for a fight. I am Mirabelli…” Nicky started, excuse you? Mira what, since when? “…The princess of Oceania and these are my friends, we are here to pay my aunt a Harmless visit” she concluded.
Suddenly we heard the sound of a tuba.. Well I’m not so sure if it was indeed a tuba but it sounded like it. The mermen withdrew their swords.
“Let’s go” Nicky said to us.
We swam into a beautiful large room in which the wall were made of gold and decorated with pearls and different kinds of beautiful sea shells.
FINDING REMEDY: Chapter 21 – 30
At the center of the room stood a very big golden throne, and a very beautiful mermaid whom I suspect might be at least three years older than I am Was sitting on it.
Her hair and tail were diamond blue, her skin glitters like polished glass.
She was holding a golden scepter in her right her and was moving her beautiful tail every which way. She’s indeed a queen.
“Look everyone, my long lost niece is back” she said to no one in particular. “You know? When word got to me that you visited Oceania, I thought it was just a rumour, but no,you actually did” she said with a charming smile.
Her smile was so beautiful and charming that I was tempted to cover Alex’s eyes. Lol.
“And hey look…” She continued. “…she also brought some friends… And of all the people you could bring, you chose a stupid Lycan and a weak human”

The friendly smile she once had on faded into a frown, she looked closely at Nicky and asked “how dare you show your face here?” She sat up and relaxed very well on her throne as she stared daggers at Nicky.
“The only reason why you are still standing in my presence is because of my sister if not, I would have wiped you out of existence”
Can she do that?
Her eyes diverted to me and sparkled fire, I regretted ever thinking such.
I gripped Alex’s arm and looked away. But with the corner of my eyes, I saw her look back at Nicky.
“For the last time Mirabelli, why did you show your face here?” She asked.

Nicky raised her right hand up and dropped the left one on her chest and started “by the name of Miranda the first queen of the Mermaids and by the spirit of Luciana my grandmother and your mother which bind us together, I plead for your mercy Merilia.
I made a grave mistake that almost destroyed Oceania and i’m very sorry.
I also thank you for choosing another queen for Oceania, may my grand mother bless your throne, and may Miranda give you long life. But please aunt Merilia, we need your help”.
FINDING REMEDY: Chapter 21 – 30
Merilia stared at her for while and then reply. “The Ancient Mirror Of Lafiti, thats why you are here”
We nodded.
“Well what can I say. Like your mother always say ‘he that didn’t harm what belongs to me will receive a reward from me’. Wait here, I’ll be back” she swam out of the room.
“What did she mean by that?” Alex asked.
“When I entered the human world, Andra or any other human did not hurt me and neither did you nor anyone else hurt me when I entered the wolf pack, so because of that, she’ll help us” Nicky explained.
“So Lenny was right” Alex stated.
Merilia swam back with a silver mirror that is as long as my arm, it looked like a flat box, it was adorned with pearls and gold stones, it’s a very beautiful mirror. In the Human world, the owner can sell it for 500 million and no one will question him/her.
“Be careful, if the blood of the guilty touches it, it can kill the innocent using it.” Merilia instructed.
“But I thought it preserve and give life to the innocent and kill the guilty” Nicky enquired.
“Listen very carefully Mirabelli cause I won’t repeat myself.
It preserves and give life to the innocent but if the blood of the guilty touches it, it can kill the innocent person using it, because when you connect an innocent person to the mirror which the blood of the guilty has contaminated, the blood mix together…”
“Making the innocent a guilty blood” Nicky completed.
‘Exactly, and it will kill him or her, so make sure a bad person doesn’t come in contact with the mirror. Now leave my kingdom and never return” Merilia instructed.
“I’ll come back Aunt, thank you so much. Bye for now” Nicky thanked her And turns to us. “Let’s go”
Alex and I thank Merilia also, we swam out of the castle to where we left the shark. She still there waiting.
“Are you ready for your ride?” Alex asked me.
“Can I change my mind” I asked back.
“Too late” he said and lifted me up, he dropped me on the shark’s back and we swam out.

When we got to the wave, I thought I have gotten used to it but as soon as I felt the current, I almost jumped out but Alex held me tight, I shut my eyes until we swam past it.
“All clear” Alex announced and I opened my eyes.
We were already at the spot where we met the shark. Nicky made her sound again, the shark replied and swam away, I guess she thanked him.
“Well that is that” she shrugged.
She held Alex’s hand, Alex held my hand while I held the mirror with my other hand, Nicky bolted off with her horse power speed.
As we were swimming I couldn’t help but have a bad feeling, I felt like something was definitely gonna go wrong.
