EPISODE 27
It was her son; her own son- Alvin. And the song he was singing got her in motion.
How had she even gotten there?
She had been in the office when a strange number called her and told her to go over to that location.
The stranger had gone ahead to emphasise that it was concerning her son and it was very important.
Although, Alvin had offended her, she still cared a lot about his activities.
She had scorched off in her car as quickly as possible and the moment she entered into the hall, she was held in suspense by the song she had been welcomed with.
She’s never heard him sing before and never knew he was that talented.
And the lyrics of the song was getting her more fuddled.
? You pulled me in and together we’re lost in a dream
Always in motion so I
Risk it all just to be with you
And I
Risk it all for this life we chose
? Hand in my hand and you promised to never let go.
We’re walking in tightrope…?
He continued singing and when he was done, the audience stood up and celebrated him, each looking chuffed.
They cheered and clapped, almost forever.
Mrs Lana looked around and couldn’t believe that was her son causing such an ovation.
At some point, she felt so honored.

Alvin didn’t request for any payment from the organisers as he felt he didn’t need it.
He just left the hall and walked outside, walking absent mindedly.
But he stopped playing the sight of his mum who came out from a corner and stood in front of him.
He was very surprised and wandered why she is there and if she was there for trouble.
But there was something about her at the moment. She was looking sad and her eyes were glistening with tears.
“Mum?” He called, surprised and didn’t know what to say.
“Alvin, son” she started tearfully.
“I’m so sorry for everything that’s happened. I’m sorry for being unfair and inconsiderate. I’ve been so cruel for not giving you a chance to air out your mind and live up to your dreams.”
She paused and held his hand.
A tear had dropped down her cheek.
“will you forgive mummy?” She whimpered and he embraced her.
“I hold no grudges against you mum. It’s not even possible” he replied her, still wrapped in her embrace.
She smiled ruefully and rubbed his back, still weeping.

Nina stood around a corner and watched beatifically.
She smiled and felt so glad that Alvin was reunited with his mum and she’s finally accepted his passion.
It gave her so much joy.
She kept staring at them until Alvin lifted his eyes and saw her, although she never expected it.
Her heart gave a leap as his sparkling eyes kept staring at her but after a short while, he took them away, back to his mum.
“Mum, let’s go” he said to her and they left the scene together.
He had acted like he hadn’t seen anyone important and that got Nina weepy as it pierced through her heart.
She turned around and walked away, also allowing her tears to flow. She had to let go of her past and Alvin. She needed to do the necessary.
And she needed to get ready for the big day ahead.
Harmony quietly closed the door behind her as she stepped outside.
She didn’t want to disturb Theo who had managed to fall asleep.

Immediately she got outside, she met her mom who was probably on her way to check up on Theo.
But she stopped when she saw harmony coming out of the room.
“How’s he?” She asked with an unfeigned anxiety.
“He’s fine mom.
He just fell asleep” She replied and moved a few steps from the door.
“Okay. Get some sleep. You know well be busy tomorrow”.
“Mum!” Harmony called her back as she had already turned around to leave.
“Mum, we need to talk” she added.
“About what?”
“About this marriage stuff mum. I think this wedding being held tomorrow is totally a bad idea. I don’t trust that Nina.
She’s capable of doing worst than crazy things.
And with the look of things, I think Theo might run mad if Nina breaks his heart again.”
Mrs Sidney sighed and placed her hand on her shoulder.
“We’re all nervous, harmony. But unfortunately, we can’t predict the future. so let’s just be hopeful and pray that everything goes aas planned, okay?” She replied and left.
Harmony kept thinking about the whole thing.
She felt her brother was in danger.
