“You look beautiful nina” Denise said chuffedly to Nina who was sitting in front of the mirror, dressed like a princess, going for a royal wedding.
The skilled makeup artiste had perfectly beautified her and she was looking extremely beautiful and charming.
She wore a long wedding gown that touched the floor from behind and she had a white crown on her head ,just behind her veil.
She was looking her best.
Well of course, it was her wedding party.
“I want to be alone” she said to everyone in the room and they all left, except for Denise who didn’t leave immediately.
“Follow your heart Nina” she said to her, relaxing her hand on her shoulders.
“Do what you want and be happy. You can sacrifice anything in the world, but not your happiness” she added and left.
Nina stood up and took one of her mom’s pictures, staring at it.
Definitely, she couldn’t let the tears drop. They were bound to ruin her makeup.
“Mum” she called tearfully.
“I wish you were here with me mum. There’s a lot of things I need to know, a lot of questions I have to ask, but I can’t find the right person to ask them to. I miss you a lot”
She held it to her chest and sobbed.
She stared at it again, admiring her pretty face.
Her eyes kept staring at her as though, they could see her.
She really missed having her around.
The door opened slowly and her dad walked in and said:
“Nina, it’s time”.

Alvin could be seen all alone in the room, weeping. That was the first time he was doing something like that.
Oh, no. The second time, actually.
The first time had been on the night he caught Nina kssing Theo. And the reason for this second was also because of her.
She’s brought him a lot of pains and heart breaks. She promised to be there for him, but now, she was about getting married, breaking her promise.

Theo stood in front of the mirror as he fixed his neck button.
He heaved a loud sigh and sat down.
His head was so sweaty and that only meant he was nervous.
“Calm down Theo” miles walked up to him and said.
He was there in the room with Owen and Lancelot as well and they were all dressed up in suits.
“I don’t think being nervous will be of any help, Theo. You might just end up giving up the ghost before she says no, I don’t” lancelot said and the rest laughed, except for Theo.

Nina walked down the aisle, arrayed in her long white dress and holding a sweet pink flower.
The veil was still covered and as she gracefully waked in, heading to the alter, all eyes were on her.
Sparkling flowers were sprayed on the floor for her to walk on and some were spread on the air to fall on her.
She was really looking like the princess’s she was.
She walked in a slow, relaxed manner and looked at Theo who was already at the alter, awaiting her arrival.
The wedding was being held at the cathedral and four doctors were already on standby just in case Theo’s condition worsens.
She needed to do this for Theo. But it wasn’t exactly like she didn’t like him.
As a matter of fact, Shw loved him a lot and wouldn’t regret getting married to him.
But the problem was, she Ws feeling too guilty and felt she was doing the wrong thing.
She remembered her promise to Alvin and it troubled her to know he was going through pains just for her.
She wanted to make things right.
She kept walking to the alter but at some point, she stopped and looked back.
She waswas wishing Alvin would come around.
She was so confused and didn’t know what to do, but she needed to do the necessary.
Slight Sidetalks were heard from the congregation as most of them became puzzled over her looking back.
Shw slowly resumed walking again but after a few steps, she turned around again.
The mumblings were getting louder.
For the third time, she turned around again and this time around, she saw him, standing a distance away from the door.
She gasped and turned to leave.
“Nina!” Theo called from the alter, sounding blenched.
Fear could clearly be heard from his voice.
Nina looked at him and looked at Alvin who had begun walking away.
“I’m sorry” She said to Theo and ran off in a brisk.
