Chapter Sixty Eight
GRACE POV
I felt an unbearable ache in my head as I groaned, forcing my eyes to go open, trying to maintain to the dim light covering the unfamiliar environment I was in. I felt tried, stressed out, my limb sore and my body feeling fragile and sweaty. It made me feel like have been kept in a casket, sleeping for days.
“Hey bch!”.The voice was rough and unfamiliar. It seem everything here was unfamiliar.
Blinking my eyes to clear away my blur vision I saw some men sitting around, smoking, drinking, laughing and spitting out slangs. They were in rough clothing, naked from the chest and wearing ripped off jeans downward. Tattoos filled their body, not just tattoos, also deep scar which made most of them look ugly. The sight was scary, the place I was in was scary.
It looked more like a poorly made house with cracking walls and cold cemented ground. Pieces of wood and some sharp objects laid at a corner and I gulped in fear, knowing that I was in the danger zone.
“Walkie, Walkie, little bch!”.I felt water touching my face and my eyes went completely open but it wasn’t water, it was alcohol which smells strong, so strong that I almost sneezed when I felt it rolling on my nose.
“She is awake guys! Take a good look”.The man laughed and all others stare at me making me feel uncomfortable. I almost gripped my damp skirt.
“Isn’t she sexy? Dylan is sure lucky, apart from being a pain in the ass, he has eyes for beautiful things”.The man said and most of them nodded, staring at me lu$tfully.
“Edwin, I want the bitch now. She is damn too beautiful to resist”.One man said licking his dark lips.
Oh God!
“Edwin, let me get her. I will pay fifty dollars for two nights, I will spend seven hours each with her. The bitch is gonna love it, my skills in bed are great”.Another man spoke.
“No!”.The guy in front of me half yelled and the house went silent. “No one is having her, if anyone is having her then I will be the first to but for now Master Duncan wants her untouched, he says he will kill her soon brutally the way she least expect. So….”.He turned to me and smirked. “Be ready bitch because when Master Duncan makes promises, he never fails to fulfill them”.
My eyes widened in fear and I began sobbing, realizing I had little or no hope. My little hope was Dylan but it seem we were in a place far away from him, he wouldn’t be able to come save me, even if he does, it might be too late, Duncan would have already killed me. Oh! Why is that Duncan too wicked and selfish, why can’t he let me go?
I watched the men. They were all drinking and doing other stuffs I consider nasty, like taking cocaine. They didn’t seem to remember I was on a chair tied with strong merciless ropes which gave me painful red marks on my skin.
I wondered how many days have been here, how my family were doing but most importantly, if Dylan was fine.
I hope he was getting better, taking his meds, though he doesn’t need it anymore but I wanted him to use it, hoping it performs a miracle on him.
I miss him. I miss my family too but as surprising as it may sound I miss Dylan the most. I want to see him, I want him to be by my side so that I can take care of him, ensure he doesn’t leave me alone forever. Now I realize I loved him, I still love him and I don’t know but I might forever love him.
“Sht Ed! We need a bch!”.One of the men said, throwing away his bottle of alcohol away which fell on the ground, breaking into pieces. It appears he was drunk since he staggered.
“Yep Ed. My stick is dropping, it needs to be throw inside a hole, you get that Ed?”.Another man said, staring at the Edwin guy who was busy smoking a cigar.
“Dmmit Ed, this isn’t fair man. We haven’t felt any bch for a while and we freaking need one right now. Besides that bch over there looks delicious, let’s go take a taste, okay man? Master wouldn’t complain, we wouldn’t kill her, huh?!”.Another man spoke lust written all over his voice.
“Fine, fine. Go touch her wherever you like, after all Master said laying her is a punishment to her and he doesn’t want anyone except him to punish her but touching her body isn’t a punishment, is it? Go touch her, one man at a time, if I say stop you guys should stop, alright?”.Edwin said and I gasped, my heart jumping hard.
“Not good man, not cool but we’ll manage”.One man said and all the men laughed.
I felt and heard my pants as one man came and touch my b©©bs, squeezing it real hard. I whimpered.
“You like it, don’t you bch?!”.He whispered and I almost puked as his breath smelling of alcohol fanned my nose.
“Please leave me alone…please”.I cried, feeling irritated and disgusted with the action his hand were performing on my body.
“Shut up and answer my question, bch! You like it, right? I can make you wet, I can turn you on, just tell Ed to let me feel you. I wouldn’t waste more than ten minutes on your filthy body”.
“Ba$tard! You shameless thing, leave me alone!”.Tears flowed as I struggled from the chair I was on. I felt so cheap and useless.
“Dojo, that’s enough! It’s my turn now, get out of her side”. Another one said and Dojo frowned deeply before moving away.
Four men came touching me with their filthy fingers. I struggled, bit them with my teeth, pinch them hard with my nails and kick them in between their legs and then they left, cussing while the remaining eleven men in the room backed off, seeing how determined I was to put them back in their right mind if they tried to touch me but still I felt so sad, maybe I also felt a bit of despair, anger and disappointment.
I wanted to see Dylan, I wanted to leave this place, leave this demons. I wanted to go back to Nigeria and go meet my paternal relatives, to believe this was all a dream and move on but still even if I leave America, I must go with Dylan.
“Oh Dylan”.My tears dropped on my torn and tear-soaked shirt I had on. “I miss you, I want you, I love you”.

“Dave, say everything that happened to Mr Nicklaus, he is a very good detective. He will solve the puzzles and Grace will be found. Now tell him or tell us rather, what you saw that day, what happened?”.Mr Uchenna asked his son who was crying quietly in the living room.
Ever since Grace was kidnapped, the family haven’t been able to sleep or eat or even rest. It affected Mrs Oliver, Grace’s mum who was now eight months pregnant, she had cried a lot and had to be pressurized to eat, bath and sleep. Mr Uchenna was taking special care of her since he didn’t want her mood to affect their baby.
“We were just coming back home when a car parked in front of ours and men in black came out, they ordered Grace to come out, she didn’t immediately do so but they threaten her by pointing a gun to her window, saying they will shoot her if she doesn’t comply. Having no choice she came out and they dragged I and the driver out, forcing out to lay on the ground while they pointed guns at us. The car Grace was in drove away and they knocked I and the driver to unconsciousness before they left. That’s all can remember”.Dave said still crying while Mr Nicklaus wrote some things in his jotter.
“Mr Uchenna, hmm this might be an interesting case. You see, your daughter might know a lot about this more than you do. First, those kidnappers kidnapped her only and still now, they haven’t demanded for any ransom. Maybe they know Grace or Grace know them, it’s confusing but don’t worry, I’ll find out something. But tell me, how many days have she been kidnapped?”.
“It’s being a day and some hours”.Mr Uchenna replied.
“Is this her first time of being kidnapped?”.
“No”.
“Hmm… Wow! Can you brief me about the first kidnapping?”.
“Not today Mr Nicklaus, I don’t even know much about it, Grace acts stubborn most times, she refused to talk about it”.
“Oh, well… I will take my leave now. It was nice meeting you Mr Uchenna, we’ll talk tomorrow”.Mr Nicklaus said and shared an handshake with Mr Uchenna before he left.

***THE NEXT DAY***
Dylan was in his room worried. Grace haven’t come to school for two days which was unlike her, he was worried. He had to send one of his boys to go do some searching about her and here the man was, just coming in.
“Pete, any news?”.He asked, impatiently waiting for an answer.
“Yes boss. It’s quite surprising… According to what I heard, she have been kidnapped”.
“What?!”.Dylan barked, making him receive a pain from his heart. He groaned and push back the blood trying to drop out of his nostril. He didn’t want Pete to know what he was suffering of, he didn’t want any of his boys to know. They would feel sad and weak, and weak was the last thing he wanted them to feel.
“Pete!”.He called and Pete bowed slightly.
“Yes…?”.
“Gather the boys, prepare our weapons, find out where Duncan boys are, we’ll pay them a visit”.
“Yes boss”. Pete bowed and left to carry out his task.

***TWO DAYS LATER***
Grace lips quivered, her eyelid stopped blinking, her body stopped moving, she was in fear as she stood face to face with the man, the devil in human form – Duncan!
