Chloe’s pov.
The next day, after taking my bath and making breakfast, I left the house.
Harry isn’t awake yet and i didn’t bother to wake him up.
I need to see Annie if possible and I hope she haven’t gone out.
I walked up to the door and waited hoping she would come out.
The front door isn’t locked so I’m 70% sure she is at home.
I was tired of waiting and was about leaving when the door opened and I hurriedly rushed to hide beside the house.
Annie wasn’t aware of my presence and locked the door.
She started walking away but I quickly rushed to block her way by standing in front of her.
“Hey Annie” I waved.
“Hi” she said tiredly.
“Uhm..can we talk?” I requested.
“Maybe next time” she replied.
At least she talked to me.
“You don’t look okay. Are you fine?” I asked worriedly.
‘That’s a dumb question, Chloe. She obviously is not okay’ my sub conscious said to me.
“I’m fine okay” she said, with the tired look.
“You don’t look fine”
“I am!” She shot at me and I flinched.
Her face softened when she saw the horrific look on my face.
“I’m sorry okay? I’m just not in the mood to talk to anyone. I am leaving” she said walking away from me.
“What about camille?” I asked after her.
She looked at me for a second. “She…” not completing her words, she walked away swiftly.
I stood at the spot in daze wondering what could be wrong.
Is camille In danger? Why is Annie like this?
Have Asher taken camille?
Not getting answers to these questions I’m asking myself is driving me crazy.
Frustratedly, I walked back to the house to find Harry in the dining already eating the breakfast I prepared.
His mind was clearly not in the food he is eating . He looked bothered and I groaned, walking towards him.
“Is the universe against me? Why is everyone I know in a bad mood?” I uttered taking my seat.
I’m not sure Harry have noticed my presence because he didn’t move his body at all.
“Harry?” I called. Still no reply.
“Harry!” I screamed hitting my fist on the dining table and he flinched, almost falling down.
“What’s it?” He asked boredly.
“I have been here for the past 2 minutes or so and you didn’t notice my presence. What the he.ll were you thinking?” I requested.
“Stuffs okay” He said, the worried expression still on his face.
“Stuffs like?” I arched my brows.
“Do you know about..never mind” he quickly said.
“What’s it? Talk to me”
“Can I have your phone?” He asked.
“Why?”
“Because I need it. Just give me!” He said.
“No, I won’t. Until you tell me what you want to do with it” I folded my hands on my chest.
“Just forget about it then..” he said and made to put the food in his mouth but stopped halfway when the spoon was few inches from his mouth.
“I lost appetite already..” he said and stood up, leaving the dining room.
“Harry, wait up..” I said after him.
He ignored and went into his room while I followed after him.
“Common, just tell me what’s up” I asked pleadingly.
He sighed sitting on his bed while I sat beside him.
“You would see it anyways so I’m just going to tell you” Harry said.
“What?” I asked confusedly.
“Dad..Sorry, Sebastian is getting married to Evelyn” he told me.
“Tch! Of course they will. Is that it? I already know that already” I scoffed.
“Dad told the world we aren’t his biological children” Harry commented and my eyes widened.
“Wow, really?” I asked to be sure.
“Yeah. According to him, Finn is his legitimate son while we are nothing but just some random kids he adopted”
“We are not. He is lying”
“Yeah he is but he said it with his mouth so he’s no longer our father. The fuck!, I don’t even care. He’s just Sebastian to me now” Harry said with an expressionless look.
“Yeah same”
“I’m just glad you aren’t angry about it”
“Why would I ? I don’t care” I shrugged and he
“So I’m going for an interview in three days time” he announced.
“Common, it’s too early. You can rest for now” I said.
“So we can starve right?” He rolled his eyes.
“Common, we can’t. Never. You remember I still have a blog with booming follower right? I make money from adverts, news and so on. You don’t have to worry yourself okay?” I told him.
“Chloe, you are the younger one. I’m the eldest. It’s my right to take care of you not the other way round. Let me just go for the interview and see how the outcome would be. It’s someone I would start from”
“I just don’t want you to stress yourself” I whined.
“I won’t, mommy” Harry mocked and I raised my hand up to hit him.
“You do remember I am older than you right?” Harry raised his brows when he saw my lifted hands.
“Yeah and I don’t care” I said and jumped up on him and laughters followed after that.
At least, I was able to take the frown and worried look of his face!

HER HUSBAND’S BOSS : EPISODE 51 – 60
*LATER THAT EVENING**
I was seated outside the house playing a game on my phone. Harry is in his room. He have been indoor all day while I have being wasting the day on my phone.
I left inside for outside for some fresh air. I haven’t seen Miranda today and I miss her. She is the only friend I have here for now.
It was then Annie came to my mind again. After she left in the morning, I haven’t seen her.
I didn’t know if she is at home or not judging by the fact I didn’t go out at all today.
I looked towards her door and sighed. It’s 6pm already. She should be back from wherever it is she went to right?
I don’t know but I’m just really worried about her.
I went back to the game I am playing but my mind isn’t on it again as thoughts of Annie flooded my mind.
I heard the sound of the door opening and I stood up looking towards Annie’s house.
She came out in a white singlet and black short. She closed the door carelessly behind her.
I guess she’s home already.
I hurriedly blocked her way.
“Where are you going?” I asked her.
“I need to go.” She said impatiently.
“Can you just talk to me. This suspense is killing me” I said frustratedly.
“It’s camille” she breathes out.
“What about her?” She asked.
“I would talk to you later” she told me.
“No, you won’t. You would probably just run off again and I won’t get the chance to talk to you. Just tell me how. Right here and right now” I said in a commanding tone.
“Chloe..” Annie groaned and I gave her a look of “go on”
“Fine! I need to go to the hospital…” she said.
“For?” I inquired.
“To see Camille..”
“Wait, camille is in the hospital? What the hell happened?” I asked.
“I would tell you later. The doctor called and told me she moved her hands. Gosh! Thank’s good news enough. I need to be there” Annie said moving away from me and I went after her.
“Is camille sick? I’m so confused as he.ll right now”
“Will tell you about it later okay?” Annie said while I trailed behind her trying to keep up with her pace.
“Okay. I would follow you then..” I said and she said nothing.
Annie stopped a Cab. Thankfully, I was putting on a jacket. I removed it and wore it on Annie and she looked at me and half smiled.
Her wear wasn’t decent enough. I guess she had ran out of the house when she got the call from the hospital.
I’m still confused about that tho.
We both entered the Cab and after Annie said the name of the hospital, the cab drove off.
Annie didn’t say anything to me and kept tapping her fingers on her laps impatiently and I didn’t bother to ask any questions again too from her hoping to get the answers I need when we get to the hospital.
