Georgia gaped at her Grandpa
So she suffered so much all these while in their hands and yet she is the heiress to the Sterling Enterprise?!
“Why didn’t you tell me? why keep it for so long?
She asked, confused about it.
Why tell her now?
“You were so young then and if I had revealed it, your life would have been at stake, though you are his child but I’ve seen men loose their rationality in the name of power and fame, besides you were surrounded by wolves and I also wanted you to grow up on your own, to be an independent lady”
Old Gerald explained and Georgia, though still shocked at the revelation, nodded in understanding
“So that’s why he came to ask for help”
Georgia spoke at the realization
Her father must have found out that he wasn’t a shareholder of the Sterling’s and so now that it’s going bankrupt, he came to pin it on Old Gerald’s head because she being the major shareholder was of course, Gerald’s favourite grandchild.
“It makes sense now”
old Gerald became worried
“Child, now that you know this and he knows this too, you need to be careful, alright?
Georgia could understand her grandpa’s worry
“I will pa”
She said
She was pregnant now and she needs to be extra careful.

Georgia quickly wrapped a shaw around her to protect her from the cold as it was evening and she rushed to Donovan hospital
Leah disclosed the fact that Dylan was awake
God!!! Dylan is awake!!!!
Georgia screamed within her
She couldn’t contain her joy and happiness at the moment and she felt like dancing around, and she would have if not that she was driving.
The car was put to a stop and she climbed down, without even checking if her car was locked or not, she hurried into the hospital and straight to Dylan’s ward
Luckily the Donovans weren’t around, she proceeded to push open the door but paused when she heard discussion
“You mean Georgia? The Sterling first miss?
Dylan’s voice came
“Yes, she, was she so important to risk your life?
The second voice came, it sounded a little old and authoritative but not familiar
“Important?(scoffs)No woman is ever important to me at least not her, she’s just a play thing for now, that Meyer guy was an old time enemy that I needed to get rid off so don’t think I did it for her, with or without her in the picture I would have gone anyways”
Georgia felt like her heartstring was being pulled out harshly
What did D-Dylan just say?
Maybe it wasn’t him right? Yes maybe maybe it was it was umm…. somebody else?
Georgia tried hard to deny the things she heard
The voices kept coming but she wasn’t paying attention anymore, they all seems to fade gradually
‘No woman is important to me, at least not her, she’s just a play thing for now’
Those words kept ringing
She couldn’t be mistaken, that was Dylan’s voice. She knew him too well to mistake his voice with someone else’s
Tears poured out
She had gone through this before, the time she eavesdropped on Raymond and Ariana to find out about their betrayal but this time, it hurt so much, so much that she felt suffocated inside
Georgia didn’t know when she walked outside and into her car. She wanted to h!t her head on the steering wheel to release the pain clouded in her heart but she remembered she was pregnant
She was even pregnant!
God!
Tears flowed out the more as she kept her head on the steering wheel
