Mr Sterling was not happy the way Georgia acknowledged him and so he felt he should lecture her
“You don’t even have an atom of respect for your own father! Mr Sterling?!! what an unfilial daughter!!!
Georgia chuckled and then laughed when Mr Sterling said those words
“Father?(scoffs) you ain’t my father anymore remember? Well don’t look so shocked Mr, you disowned me in front of your dear wife and daughter”
Georgia paused dramatically and looked around Mr Sterling
“I wonder why you didn’t bring my dear stepmother and sister with you…. oops….I forgot, they are currently in hiding especially Susan”
“You won’t speak in such a tone about your mother and sister do….”
“Step”
Georgia interrupted, in puzzlement, Mr Sterling asked
“What?
“It’s stepmother actually, Susan isn’t my mom remember? my mom is Evelyn,the woman you treated poorly and unfairly.
The woman you hurt and broke till she passed her limit”.
Georgia calmly spoke
“She was a spoilt brat!!! Always thought she had it all more than anyone else just because she came from a richer background!!
Mr Sterling yelled at Georgia
Old Gerald angrily wanted to say something but Georgia patted his shoulder to stop him
She could see her Grandpa was beginning to get emotional and agitated
Georgia moved closed to Mr Sterling, peering at him eye ball to eyeball without loosing eye contact.
Getting close to him she smirked
“You’re just an ungrateful coward!
Mr Sterling’s eyes became like saucers
“She knew you had nothing, no money but she married you….. wasn’t that love? if she was prideful, why didn’t she get married to big shots that fitted her status and class and yet she chose a nobody, a hoodlum like you!!
Georgia spat acidly without filter
Even old Gerald was shocked at the words Georgia spoke
Was his granddaughter this sassy and word shattering?
He thought
“Take that back Georgia!!!
Mr Sterling boomed, his vein popping out and his fist shaking in rage but Georgia didn’t care
“You say my mom was too proud? Alright but unlike Susan, my mom didn’t sell herself shamelessly in public for cash!
If you should yell at anyone, it should be the slut of a wife Susan!!
“How dare you?!!!
Mr Sterling raised his hands and sI.apped Georgia but before his hand could reach her cheek, it was suspended in the air
“How dare you hold my hands!!! See? what a disrespectful child you are!!
