Beep* Beep* Beep*
In the slightly lightened and silent room, only the sound of the ECG machine could be heard and a slightly loud sound of inhaled and exhaled breathing as a result of the oxygen mask worn over the patients nose and mouth.
Georgia walked slowly towards Dylan’s bed with Misty eyes
Reaching to him, she clearly drank in his face
It was pale, so pale with his eyes shut.
His arms and hands were connected to long narrowed tubes and through the patient’s gown, she could see the wrapped gauze with dried up blood stain obviously were he had been shot.
Georgia squeezed her eyes shot and tears fell, seeing him like this brought back those painful memories when he sputtered bI.ood from his mouth as he was shot
When he fell down in the pool of his own bI.ood, helpless and paley weak
When he turned lax on her laps.
It hurt so much, Georgia clutched her chest tight as she found it hard to inhale air.
“You came to save me, why didn’t you save yourself?
“Why did you let yourself get hurt??
Georgia sobbed and slowly leaned down to his face
“Please wake up, I miss you….we miss you”
She kssed his forehead and at the same time a tear fell on Dylan’s shut eyes

Mr Sterling ran down the passage and stopped in front of the theatre room, he panted heavily
He was grieving his fate in the confides of his office when he received a call from his daughter
At first, he ignored the call as he was too mad and disappointed to speak to her but she kept on being persistent in calling that he had to pick up
Readying himself to rain down curses on her, her voice came out frantically telling him that his wife had gone into an unprepared labour due to fainting and shock which triggered the reaction process
No matter how mad he was, the woman was still carrying his heir and he couldn’t joke with that.
“Dad”
Ariana called out and went to hug him but Mr Sterling pushed her away from him
“Don’t touch me!
He scolded
Ariana gapsed in shock, did her dad just push her away?
Something he hadn’t done before!!!
Right! He must have seen the god damned news!!
“Dad mom is being operated on!!!
Ariana shouted making Mr Sterling widen his eye
“What?!!!
“It’s been an hour plus already and they are still in there!
Ariana yelled looking scared
After more thirty minutes of waiting impatiently, the room was opened and a doctor stepped out
Mr Sterling and Ariana rushed to him at once with worried gazes
“She’s out of danger now thankfully and fortunately”
The doctor who looked to be in his late fifties announced
Ariana nodded in relief but Mr Sterling still looked worried
“A-And My son?
He asked with hopeful eyes
The doctor sighed
“Unfortunately, he didn’t survive”
Dang. Something seemed to strike a nerve in Mr Sterling’s head
Ariana widened her eyes

“You’re….. you’re kidding me”.
