I nearly forgot my appointment with Jack if not that he called me. I stood up and noticed that Jane was deep asleep, I tiptoed out of the room and sneaked out of the gate while the gate man was also dead in sleep.
Good, they were already outside the gate waiting for me as I came out, I joined them in the car to their secret house where I explained the deal to them.
“Young woman, how did u know about us and what do you want from us” Jack asked with his scaring eyes.
“My name is Sommy, I need ur help and u guys are the best for the job. I knew you guys through the help of this my boss (pointing at James who was sitting beside me)” I explained and they nodded uniformly.
“Good then, hope he told u what you will provide for the operation to go successfully?” Jack asked looking closely to me.
“Not at all, he…. He….only…” I started shivering in fear as his face almost touched mine, the odour of the cegerate smoke from his mouth was making me so uncomfortable.
“You guys are going to tell her here” James interrupted as he noticed that I wasn’t in a good stand anymore.
“You Must make love to our boss here, we will need up to 500k for fuel, total underground sealing of our work and the picture of the target especially her description will be needed for perfect job” one of the explained reading from his phone.
“Every other things are not a problem except that of 500k, I don’t have it and this work suppose to be done within this five days” I explained bitterly and the boss among them smiled devilishly.
“Then u borrow from anyone if u seriously need this work” the boss said with a thunderous voice.
“Okay, I will try” I responded.
“Be warned, u have come and there is no going back, is either u are in for the deal or we take the deal on you.
Think wisely” he warned in finality before they left me with James in the sitting room.
“U heard it, so what is the next step?” I asked James as I turned to him.
“I think I have done my part by providing u with the assasinators, it’s now ur duty to give them what they want” James replied.
“But I will need some money from u please” I pleaded but he denied that he doesn’t have money.
James and I passed the night in the sitting room, I tried making love to James that very night but he declined. Upon all the strategies I used but he wasn’t moved nor turned on, instead he looks so unhappy.
I know that he is doing this to protect his job not because he wanted it but I don’t give a damn care.
We went to our separate ways the next morning, I got home and met Jane looking so down emotionally.
“Xup babe, why are you like this?” I asked and she bent down in tears.
Did she know about this?
“Where are you coming from now?” She asked still burying her head between her legs.
“From my friend’s house” I lied and she faked a scaring smile.
