Wait .. What if i do like Ashley?
The thoughts rang in my head as Adrian drove over to J.R’s place silently. He’s still pissed, i can tell by the way he’s gripping the steering wheel tightly.
Soon, we reached J.R’s private mansion and the gates automatically opened. Adrian drove in and parked the car among the fleet of cars in the driveway.
We got out of the car and met J.R standing by the porch holding a remote-like object.
“Lemme guess, you opened the door with that ’cause you are too lazy”. I ask.
“Lets just say, i opted for an easier method”. J.R replied laughing.
Adrian walking the door inputing the code and the doors slid open immediately and he went inside.
J.R faced me. “Whats up with him?”.
I shrugged.
We both went in and met Adrian relaxing on the couch going through one of his phones smiling.
“Are you here for our English project?”. J.R asks.
Adrian scoffed. “I’m going for detention”.
“Good. So while you guys are here, you can help me with the lyrics for my new song”. J.R said taking his laptop from the medium-sized glass table.
“Sure, have you started?”. I ask sitting on the floor balancing on the soft sofa.
“Check this out”. J.R said typing on his laptop.
Then a beat started playing and he grabbed his headset putting them on.
He sang along with the beat.
•I can’t help but stare ’cause i see truth somewhere in your eyes
•I’m thinking of you, if it’s wrong then i don’t wanna be right
He dropped his headset pausing the beat.
Adrian sat up on the couch. “You are supposed to make a comeback in two months and all you’ve written is just two lines”.
J.R sighed taking a deep breath. “I can’t get an inspiration”.
“What was your inspiration for Nobody’s Perfect?”. I found myself asking.
Nobody’s Perfect was a big hit in the music industry. It debuted over 200 million views worldwide which made J.R go famous and records wanting to sign him. But he stayed with his dad’s record label; AZ records.
The mysterious thing about J.R is that when he sings onstage, he wears a mask which makes his face hidden. Thats why, in school, nobody recognizes him as Jaden Roy.
Offstage. He’s J.R.
Onstage. He’s Jaden Roy.
“I was my inspiration”. J.R replied
“Play the beat again”. Adrian said dropping his phone.
J.R leaned over opening his laptop playing the beat from where it stopped.
Adrian dictated.

I added. •But you are the key to my piece of mind.
J.R continued.

•’Cause me + you, gotta be two
We cheered happily although it was just few lines we came up with.
