‘Okay mom Selena is gone now please tell me the real reason you’re here??’..I asked as i sat on the kitchen stool..
‘Well Giselle called me’..She replied..
‘Mom are you out of your mind?!! That idi©t called you and you’re telling me she did?? We ended things months ago and—
‘Yeah it’s all because of that witch I know!! She’s brainwashed you Xander and you don’t want to accept that truth!! Look at Giselle,She’s a model,a singer and she’s from a good family and look at Witchalina?? She’s your ex and you’re her boss and you’re also hoeing around with her what’s wrong with you Xander?’..She interrupted me and I couldn’t help but scoff..
‘Giselle isn’t a professional model she’s an Instagram model who dresses up like a mannequin for more followers!! She’s a faker mom and all she wants from me is the money and the good sx!! Selena is the mother of my child and I love the both of them very much!!’..
‘Xander you can’t be serious you don’t remember her!!’. ..
‘Ohh yeah I might not remember our time spent in the past but this is the present and she’s the only woman that makes me happy more than anything.She works hard at the office forgetting the fact that I’m sometimes grumpy at work and helps me even way than my other staffs!! She makes breakfast,lunch and dinner for me every single day even though she has a life of her own and her cooking is way better than yours no offence…She…She doesn’t even take anything from me and whenever I try to get something special for her she stops me!! She makes me feel like a man mother and she’s good in bed too if you don’t know that!! She’s an all-in-one package mom and that’s hard to get and if you’re against it then fine with you!!’..I yelled back…
‘Xander!!’,..
‘Yes mom you heard it from me!! I won’t let you ruin my life just the way you did before!! I won’t let you make me loose the only thing precious to me!! And if you’ll excuse me I’ve got to go get flowers to get my woman back’..
Selena’s POV
‘I can’t believe he refused sending her away!!! Like it hurts so much that he doesn’t even care about my feelings or anything!!’..I bursted into tears and before Janet could reply me a knock came on the door..
‘Who is it??’..I asked and just then Alexander walked in with a bouquet of flowers..
‘Ohhh it’s you,what do you want??’..I snarled and he smiled…
‘I’m sorry babe’..He said and sat next to me but I slapped his hands away anyway…
‘Selena?? I said I’m sorry’..He chuckled again and I stopped sniffing..
‘Don’t get me wrong it’s not like I don’t want you to stay away from your mother but it’s pretty obvious she hates me and now she’s here for Thanksgiving,don’t you know what it means?? she—
‘I sent her away Selena’..
‘You what?!!’..
‘I said I sent her away’..He replied and my mouth went agape…
‘You did?? You really did?? Not that it’s a good thing but you really sent her away??’..I asked and when he nodded I linked my arms around his neck and kssed him slowly..
‘Now I would’ve loved to continue this but we can’t do anything in front of Janet can we??’..He whispered..
‘I have a room?? And Janet is about taking Emily out for a walk in the park so….
‘Oh my God I love you!!’…
Xander’s POV
The Next Morning
I opened my eyes at the sound of a growling blender and went to the kitchen only for me to see Mom in my kitchen!!!..
Cooking!!
‘Mom what are you still doing here?!!!’..I yelled and she popped a tart into my mouth..
‘Well my flight was cancelled due to snow falling so I had to stay’..She said…
‘You could drive mom!!!’..
‘Ohhh so you want me to drive in the snow?? What is wrong with you Xander?? you’re going to kick me out on Thanksgiving just because of Selena?? I’m making all this for you guys!!’..She protested and my ears pricked a little bit..
Did she just say she’s making all this food for us??..
‘Wait you’re making dinner for us??’..I couldn’t help but ask…
‘Yeah I realised I was being too hard on the poor girl and I want to make things right again.
I want her to come over for dinner so we can talk things out like adults’..She replied…
No something’s wrong!!..
The mother I know never makes peace with anyone!!
