‘Mother how on Earth could you do a…’..My voice trailed off as soon as the doorbell rang and when I walked over it was Selena all dressed up in a simple black sweater and simple pants..
Simple but beautiful just the way I love her but this is really not a good time or a good development..
I should’ve booked the nearest flight for mom to go home immediately..
I never knew she could do something like this??..
‘Hey babe,you look like you ate an octopus’..Selena muttered with a beautiful smile on her face and kssed my cheek..
‘Selena I think we should..Selena i think we…’.
My voice trailed off again as Mac walked in with a box of freshly baked muffins..
‘Thank God you’re here I have to talk to you very quick’..I said and dragged him by the arm into the room…
Minutes later
‘She what?!!’..
‘She fucking invited Giselle and my other exes to Thanksgiving dinner!! I can’t even believe she would do something like this and I just want to get out of here cause it’s going to be a disaster’..I replied and Mac sighed deeply..
‘Yeah man you really need to get out of here but with Selena too, it’s going to be too much to handle and you need to get your mother on a leash or something cause she’s getting out of hand!’..
‘Selena can handle herself,I’m doing my best to get her out but obviously it isn’t working let’s just go’..
Selena’s POV
‘Okay Mac and I am headed out to go get some champagne and we’ll be back soon,love you’..Xander said as he kssed me quickly on the lips and somehow I felt like something was wrong…
Mac was looking kind of nervous but since there was a calm look in Martha’s eyes I shrugged every negative thought off…
‘Now lets—’..I was instantly cut off as two other ladies with that Giselle woman came in all dressed in a fancy and elegant manner making me look like a peasant in their midst..
‘Ohhh my Giselle you’re looking very good and I’m pretty sure Xander is going to give you that ring for sure’..Martha whispered so that the other ladies wouldn’t hear but I pretty heard her loud and clear…

To leave and make his mother humiliate me??..
So he could just embarrass me and break up with me??..

‘You know I have seen a lot of bad women but you momma Xander!! You are one nasty b*tch!!!’..Janet yelled on my behalf..

‘You know dude leaving the house was a pretty good idea’..I sighed deeply drinking my diet Coke but Mac didn’t smile..
‘Its not a good idea man,you know if you can’t defend your woman pretty well in front of your mother then why claim to love her??’..He asked and just then my phone rang..
