‘Hey stop it’..I blushed hard as Xander made a sweet comment about me..
‘You know you don’t want me to stop and by the way this burger is good’..He replied and I nodded biting into the delicacy…
‘Should’nt we be preparing for Thanksgiving??’..I asked..
‘Nah my mother would take all good care of that and I can’t wait for tonight when you both finally make peace with each other’..He replied and a frown creased my brow…
‘Hmmmm I think I wanna go home now,Emily are you done??’..
‘No mummy,Daddy let’s watch a movie’..She refused..
‘No Emily we have to go to Thanksgiving dinner,your grandma is making food for us’..I said and her brows perked up…
‘I thought you didn’t like her??’..
‘No baby that’s not the case let’s go now’..I quickly replied before she started spilling the beans about how I said his mother was a bch…
‘We could go watch a movie if she wants?? I want to spend every hour with my sweetie before I finally leave for Sri Lanka’..Xander muttered and my eyes popped up..
Did he just say Sri Lanka??..
‘You’re leaving?? You’re leaving and you didn’t tell me?? This isn’t —
‘It’s just a joke sweetheart I’m not going anywhere but I seriously want to spend every moment with you both’..He cut in and I heaved a sigh of relief…
Xander’s POV
Phew that was a close one…
I can’t believe I almost spilled the beans about me planning a vacation for the three of us in Sri Lanka right after I ask her the question..
Hours Later at night we were done and Selena took the sleepy Emily home to dress up for dinner and I retreated to my own house only got me to see the dinner table all laid out and steaming with food…
‘Wow mom you really did a good job’..I exclaimed and she smiled..
‘Yeah and uhmm I’m inviting some people over’..She said..
‘Who?? I thought it was just going to be you, Selena,Emily,Janet and I??’..I asked..
‘Well we can’t waste all this food can we?? I invited a few friends over’..She replied and after a moment of grumbling under my breath I finally asked..
‘Who did you invite??’.. I asked..
‘Ohh I invited Mac,Giselle and a few of your other girlfriends’..She said..
‘Mom you what?!!!’..
