Hailey fell on the couch in shock.
“Mom.. Did everything Brittany say,,, is it true? Did you kll dad?” Valerie stuttered.
“No! How can you say that.. She’s just trying to f.ool you” Hailey said.
“But-”
“Shut up!?” Hailey snapped and ran her hands through her hair.
This certainly wasn’t how she planned things to end.

LILLY’S RESTAURANT**
Reagan got down the bike and rushed to the restroom before Jessica could see her.
She locked the door and leaned against it, her eyes still wide open.
“He’s the one… He’s,, he really is” Reagan stuttered and closed her eyes.
Now she understand why she was being so clingy like he said. But he seriously changed so much that she couldn’t even recognize him again.
Well it was 6 years back so he was bound to change..
Her hands fell to her side when she remembered she heard a female’s voice in his house.
“He promised he’ll come back but he didn’t. It even looks like he’s good,, like what happened between us was nothing” She muttered sadly.
“Well how did you expect him to see you when you two met at a br®thel.
You’re just a mere sIvt to him!” Her subconscious mind said.
She sighed and sat down on the ground, burying her face on her knees.

NICHOLAS’S MANSION**
“Love” Nicholas smiled when Brittany got back home.
He was texting on his phone while laying on the bed when she came in.
“I did it!!” Brittany exclaimed happily and fell on him, hugging him tightly.
Nicholas chuckled and hugged her too.
“I knew you could do it. So how were their reaction” Nicholas asked.
Brittany’s began laughing hard when Hailey’s shocked face came to her mind.
“I can already guess” Nicholas laughed too.
“Tomorrow I’m taking back everything that belongs to my dad.. For his company I’ll personally handle it and for the villa.
I think Granny and the rest will go stay there but for his overseas properties,,, I don’t really know.
Gosh!, it’s so stressful” Brittany groaned and pouted.
“Don’t worry, I’m right here. I can help you out” Nicholas pinched her cheek.
She smiled and kssed his lips.
“I love you” She muttered.
‘”Love you more” He muttered.
“Tomorrow is my dad’s birthday. His 50th birthday, I was thinking of organizing a party in memory of him” Brittany said.
“That will be a great idea.. We can do it once in 5 years” Nicholas said and Brittany nodded.
“I’m so tired..” Brittany groaned.
“Let me help you” Nicholas said and stood up.
He got on her back and began massaging her shoulders. She closed her eyes and smiled.
“Thanks babe” She muttered.
“You seem really happy today”
“Who wouldn’t be after seeing Hailey’s caricatured face” Brittany said and Nicholas laughed.
