Statham enterprise… 3:24pm…
Claudia looked through her window, she saw the reporters waiting outside.. under the scorching sun.
She doesn’t seem to have a clue what is going on, just then someone knocked on her door.
“Come in!” She invites whoever just knocked.
A security man walks in, he’s sweating profusely all over.. Claudia passed him a disgusting look.
“What are you doing here?” She questioned him.
“Miss Claudia, I don’t know what to do now.. those reporters refused to leave, they’re demanding to speak with Mr Statham!”
Claudia takes a look outside again, truly, the security men are trying their best to hold down the reporters…and stop them from breaking into the building.
“Tell them Mr Statham is not in!”
“We already told them, but they wouldn’t believe us!” The security man replied.
“Then threaten them with the police!”
The man nods and step out, Claudia frown.. though this scene look so familiar but she still doesn’t know what’s going on.
Just then her phone ring, she reached for it and see a familiar name flashing on the screen.. she quickly pressed the answer button.
“Hello, dad?”
Her father’s laughter is heard from the other side.
“How do you like my birthday gift?” He asked her.
“Birthday gift?”
Claudia frowns, she looked out and realized her father’s talking about the reporters.
“Though it’s still early and you can’t quite understand the gift, but just know that Nicklaus will soon be yours….”
She smiled at that statement, her father sounds so confident which is giving her high morale.
“… And the company will soon be mine!”
“What’s going on dad? Why did you get so many reporters here?”
“I sent you a video, watch it!” With that he hangs up.
Claudia’s phone beeps as she receives the video, she quickly plays it and her mouth falls open.
Then a very bright smile appears on her face, she shakes her head and laughs out loud, menacingly.
“Now this is huge!”
Her phone starts ringing again, she quickly answer it.
“Dad, that’s a good job you did there… Tell me you exposed this video!”
“Not yet, I only sent it to Nicklaus!”
Claudia frowns deeply.
“Why?! You should expose it and…. ”
“No rush, I have other plans for that video.. but for now, you should seize this opportunity and get close to him!”
She scoffed, and fell back on her chair.. she pushed some hair from her face.
“I can’t get close to him, have you forgotten he’s allergic to women?!”
“Not anymore, it’s your time to comfort him now that he’s hurt.. go to his apartment!”
Claudia blinked rapidly, as she tries to process the information she just got.
“He’s not allergic to women anymore?”
“No, it’s tested!”
A smirks tugs the corner of her lips, she hangs up and tossed her phone on the table.
She reach for her bag.. she takes out her small mirror. Staring at herself in the mirror, she admires her beauty.
“Now, let’s see how he can say no to my charms!”
She got up, adjust her blouse and snatched her bag… then head towards the door.

Dr ghost’s pharmacy… 4pm…
Gregory has just finished cleaning up his wife’s face, when he heard his phone ringing.
He quickly reached for it, he stares at the number and frowns… this number rarely calls him.
Without much hesitation, he answered it.
“Speak to me, Bonnie!”
“Mr Lopez, something happened to Miss Lopez!”
Gregory’s ears perks up at the mention of Anastasia’s name.
“What happened?! Is she ok?!”
“She was raped by a Mr Spears!”
“My daughter was raped?! Who’s that Spears ba$tard?!” He growled.
“We did some investigation, and found out Miss Lopez and Mr Spears are childhood friends!”
Gregory closed his eyes and inhale deeply, he glares at a vase sitting on a table.
“What is Nicklaus doing about it now?” He asked.
“Somehow the medias got to know about it, but Mr Statham is trying his best to stop the news from spreading!”
There’s silence as Gregory paced to and fro.
“Mr Lopez, what should we do?”
He narrowed his eyes as a thought crosses his mind, he balled his fist…this trick is too familiar.
He seems to know who’s behind this, he bites his lower lip angrily.
“I’m not leaving this to the police, break into that ba$tard’s cell and bring him here!”
“Yes, sir!”

Anastasia’s pov ?
“Wow, Anna, it smells so nice in here!” Jerry said as he walks into the kitchen.
“Thank you!” I simply replied.
So… it’s dinner time, Klaus already woke up an hour ago and he’s in his study making some phone calls.
Since I have nothing to do to help our situation, I decided to cook some dinner..
“Now I wouldn’t have to worry about cooking dinner…”
He reached for an apron and wears it around his neck, he also reached for gloves.
“… do you need any help?” He asked.
“Yeah, please help me with the broccoli”
He nods and gets on with it, I’m not a good cook but I hope this food will be edible since I’m giving it my all.
Ding, ding! the doorbell rang, I wash my hands to go check who’s there but Jerry stopped me.
“You can’t go, what if those reporters take a picture of you?”
I sighed and let him go in my stead. Those reporters are so persistent, they haven’t left since morning.
This mansion has become bigger than usual.. because of the silence…I wonder when this is gonna pass.
“Anna, it’s someone from the office!” Jerry said when he came back.
“Who? Did the person leave a name?”
I picked a knife and start cutting the half chicken I brought out earlier…into smaller pieces.
“She said her name is Claudia!”
My grip on the knife tightens, I frown deeply.
“What is she doing here?” I think out loud.
I dropped the knife and wash my hands, I reach for a towel and dried my hands before heading out of the kitchen.
I stepped into the living room and head for the door, I opened it and Claudia stood in front of me with a smile.
She frowns when she sees it’s me.
“Why is it you?!” She spat.
I wanted to reply her but she speak again.
“Where’s Mr Statham?”
“I’m afraid, Klaus is busy, he’s not in the mood to see anyone!”
She glares at me, scan me from head to toe then burst into a brief laugh.
“Why are you still showing your face? Shouldn’t you be in a hole crying right now?”
What does she mean? Does she know about what happened? But how? Klaus paid a huge amount to stop the news from spreading!
“Claudia, please leave, you can’t see Klaus!”
“You don’t have the right to stop me, besides, I came for business!” She said and waves a folder in my face.
Just then she looked past me and smile very brightly, she pushed me out of the way and rushed inside.
“Good evening, Mr Statham!” She said in a very sweet voice.
I turned around, Klaus is walking towards us… or should I say, walking towards her with his hands tucked in his pocket.
“Claudia, what are you doing here?” He asked.
“Oh, there’s a very important document that needs your signature.. I brought it over…. ”
She didn’t finish her words as she’s about to fall, I don’t know if she’s faking it or if it’s actually true… But she lost her balance.
Klaus quickly catches her before she could reach the floor, helped her regain balance while I just stood simply… gaping at him.
“Thank you, Mr Statham!” She said passing him a flirtatious smile.
Am I dreaming?! Or Klaus actually touched another woman just now?! He’s not irritated by her… Does that mean he’s cured?!
“Can’t the document wait until tomorrow?” Klaus asked her.
“I’m afraid not”
She raised the folder and opens it, she steps extremely close to Klaus.. their shoulders touching.
“This was brought in from fiance department…”
I tone her off as I lost in my thoughts… If he’s cured, what’s gonna happen to me?! Is he gonna cheat on me?! Chase me out of his life?!
Many unpleasant scenarios flashes through my mind… Now I’m wishing he’s never cured.. at least then he wouldn’t had let Claudia touch him!
“… so, I’d like us to go to your office so you can sign it…”
Jealousy build up inside me, I feel anger boiling inside me at their closeness.. but I don’t think I have the right to be jealous now.
He’s gonna throw me out sooner or later!
“Claudia, this signature isn’t urgent and can wait till tomorrow!” Klaus said and moved away from her.
He walked towards me and snakes his arm around my waist, he pulled me close and smiled at me.
“I stayed in today because I wanna spend more time with my wife!”
Joy erupt from the pit of my stomach at his words, I smiled.. he choose me!
“Take that document and go home now!” He said.
I turned to Claudia, she’s still smiling.
“Then let’s forget about the document… let’s talk about the gala, it’s next tomorrow and….”
“We can talk about the gala when I come to the office tomorrow… Go home now!” Klaus said firmly.
Claudia’s expression changed, he glared at me and storms out.. just then Jerry came.
“Master, dinner is ready!” He said.
Right, I was almost done preparing dinner.. I look at Klaus hopefully, I pray he agrees to eat with me.
“Anna cooked it, she started cooking since 3pm, Master!”
Klaus looked down at me and take in my outfit, his gaze focus on a spot in my face.
He reached out his hand and wipes the spot, he smiles.
“You’ve got flour on your face!”
He unties the apron around my waist and hands it to Jerry, he swoops me in his arms and heads towards the dinning room.
“Let’s eat!” He said.
He sits me on a chair when we reached the dinning table, he pulled out a chair and sits next to me.
His eyes move around the table and he turns to me.
“You made all these?”
I nod… He reached for my plate and serve some food in, then put it in front of me.
“Eat!”
He also dished some food for himself and starts eating. While we’re eating, he’s feeding me so lovingly and tenderly.
His actions surprised me but who am I to complain, I learnt from what happened this afternoon… I better don’t say anything than say something that’ll anger him.
“Here, drink some water!” He said.
I reached for the glass of water and take a few gulps.
“I’ll be going to visit a friend, we’ll talk when I get back!”
“A friend?”
“Yes!” He paused and look in my eyes. “Dr ghost!”
I tensed.. Dr ghost?! How did he know him?! I hope he doesn’t know about the pills stuff!
“Do you know him?”
Should I lie?! He’s waiting for my reply, I guess I shouldn’t lie!
“Yes, I went to his drugstore few days ago!”
He nods.
“We’ll talk when I get back, don’t leave the mansion!” He said.
He leans forward and kssed my lips softly, then he got up and head out.

Rhoda’s pov ?
I walked into the restaurant, my eyes search for Raymond as I walk in.. but I don’t seem to find him.
“Excuse me, ma’am?” A waitress stopped me.
“Yes?”
“Are you Miss Statham?” She asked.
I nod, she smiles and gestures towards a staircase.
“This way please, Mr Hemsworth is waiting for you!” She said.
I frown but follows her anyway, I guess she’s taking me to the VIP section.
We arrived at a table, Raymond got up immediately he saw me and quickly pulled out a chair for me.
“You’re quite punctual, doctor Hemsworth!” I said.
He laughs lightly and sits on the chair opposite mine.
“I can’t afford to keep a pretty lady waiting!” He replied.
I rolled my eyeballs at his flattery, he’s always had a sugarcoat tongue.
“Mr Hemsworth, should we bring in your order now?” The waitress asked.
“Yes, please!” He answered.
The waitress nod and leaves quickly, I dropped my bag and phone in the table… Raymond stares at me and smiles.
“It’s not like we’re on a date, you shouldn’t have gone through so much hassle to impress me!” I told him.
He release a nervous laugh and scratches his neck.
“I just wanted everything to be perfect!”
“It doesn’t need to be perfect, just cut to the chase… tell me exactly what happened then? Why did you cheat on me?”
He sighed deeply and nod.
Authoress’ pov ?
Nicklaus stared at the man in front of him, the man stared back at him with a very serious expression.
“I heard what happened!”
“Yes, and I have it under control” Nicklaus replied.
There’s a brief silence, the man reaches for a cigarette and hands it to Nicklaus.
Nicklaus takes it and stares at it, he shakes his head and hands it back to the man.
“It’s nice, Mr Lopez, but I don’t smoke!” He said.
Mr Lopez smiles and nod.
“Good!” He said.
Nicklaus reached for the bottle of champagne in front of him and pour a little in a glass.. he takes a sip.
“You said I should see you about what happened 13years ago… That’s why I came!” Nicklaus said.
Mr Lopez nods, he got up and walk towards a door.
“Follow me!” He said to Nicklaus.
