LA city police station…
“What do you mean there’s a break-in?!” Chief constable Brain yelled at his boys.
None of them could speak, since they can’t give account of what actually happened last night.
“Who was guarding his cell last night?!” He asked.
“Quan and Parker” one of them replied.
Chief constable Brain avert his gaze towards Quan and Parker, they’re both facing downwards…not ready to look at his eyes.
“What happened? Why is he missing from his cell?” Brain asked them.
They shakes their heads, which only angered Brian more.
“What do you mean? What should we tell Mr Statham?! Huh?!”
Quan raised his head slightly, but still not looking at Brain’s face.
“Chief, we don’t know what happened..we were playing cards and suddenly fell unconscious, when we woke up his cell was already empty!” Quan explained.
Brain glared at him.
“You’re policemen, how can you neglect your job to play cards?!”
They stayed silent, Brain squeeze his eyes and sighed.
“There must be a mole in this station, how can someone just break-in and kidnapped a prisoner?”
The other thinks about it too, they realized he might be right..they nod.
“But that’s not the main issue now, first we have to find Jack.. he’s a rapist and can’t be on the loose!”
He wears his cap and shoves his walkie talkie in his pocket..his eyes roam around his boys and confirm they’re all present.
“Everyone, check all the allies..make sure you find him…”
His eyes settled on Quan and Parker.
“… we’ll talk about punishment later!”
“Yes, sir!”

Dr ghost’s pharmacy…
Just after he had finished speaking with Nicklaus on the phone, he received another call from his boys.
“Boss, we couldn’t find Jack’s cell..”
“You couldn’t find his cell?!” He frowned.
“No, boss!”
Mr Lopez clenched his fish and sucked in a large amount of air.. he released a silent growl.
*Benjamin must have gotten him* he thought.
“Quick, find him…do everything you can to find him and bring him to me.. alive!” He roared.
“Yes, sir!” They replied.
Mr Lopez hanged up, he tossed his phone on the table and throws his head back on the sofa…
*Benjamin, I’m not gonna let you off this time!*

Rhoda’s pov ?
LA city hospital….
Raymond parked his car in the staff’s parking lot, he hopped out and rushed to my side.. he opened the door for me.
“Thank you, Ray!” I thanked him.
He replied me with a smile, we walked towards the entrance door.
“Although, I didn’t ask for your help.. but I must say Bill wouldn’t have made it in time to school had we gone by a taxi”
“Yeah, you didn’t ask for my help but I know you definitely need it…after all for you to love a woman, you must first understand her every move!”
I rolled my eyeballs and pushed him away from me…he chuckles.
“Spare me that love sh*t! Don’t get all munchy with me now!”
We walked into the hospital building in silence, but a little bit too close… making some nurses throw sneaky glances at us.
I know they’ll soon start spreading rumors about Raymond and I.
“What are you doing later?” He asked.
I stylishly create some space between us, he notice it and frown slightly.
“Why are you moving away from me?” He asked.
“I don’t want people to start any kind of rumors, it’s best if we keep our space” I said.
He looked like he wanna argue but decided against it, he glared at the nurses looking our way instead.
“Are you busy later?” He asked me.
“No, why did you ask?”
“Nothing much, just wanna treat you to lunch”
“I can’t have lunch with you, I’ll be picking up Bill from school later!”
He nod. “Well, I will go with you then”
I raised an eyebrow at him questioningly.
“Don’t you have patients to attend to?” I asked.
“No, Denzel’s getting discharged today, I’ll just run a normal check up for him this morning!” He replied.
We stopped outside my office, I don’t even realize when we got here.. because we were talking.
I reach for my keys inside my bag.
“Do you wanna come inside with me?” I asked him.. gesturing towards my office.
He shake his head and take some steps backwards.
“What time are we gonna go pick Bill up?”
“1:30pm!”
He nod. “Ok, I’ll come get you by 1:10pm!”
“Whatever!” I said.
He winked at me then runs off, I blush like a teenager.. I stared at him and shake my head.

Anastasia’s pov ?
“Miss Lopez, why are we stopping at this restaurant?” Graham asked as he slow down.
“I’m meeting up with Matilda here” I replied.
He pulled up in front of the restaurant and turned to face me.. there’s a small frown on his forehead.
“But Mr Statham instructed I drive you to the hospital”
“Don’t worry about Klaus, he won’t mind if you tell him I met with Matilda”
I grabbed the door handle and pushed it open, I stepped out and Graham jumped out too.. he look around.
“But I don’t see her anywhere” he said.
Wait.. is he thinking I’m meeting up with another man? Does he thinks I’m cheating on his boss?
Ugh! I have stared with my wild imaginations again.
“Tasia!” I heard Matilda’s voice.
I turned towards the voice and saw Matilda sitting in a corner table outside the restaurant.. I waved at her, then turned back to Graham.
“Have you seen her now?”
He nod. “Yes, Miss Lopez!”
He slides back into the driver’s seat and drives off, while I walked towards Matilda…I pulled out a chair and sit down.
“Here, freshly brewed coffee for you!” She said and hand me a cup of coffee.
“Thank you my darling.. I love you, muah!” I sends her a flying kiss.
She catched it and placed it on her heart.. I take a sip from the coffee and dropped it on the table.
“So… How are you feeling?” She asked.
She must be asking about yesterday’s incident, I was a crying mess when she left.
“I’m fine, Klaus and I talked things through”
“Good, I thought he’d stay mad at you for a long time”
I shake my head.
“He wasn’t mad at me, I was just feeling insecure”.
She smiled, she reached for her phone and pressed a few buttons.
“Right, I have paid the landlady the rent.. aunt and Denzel can move in now” she said.
I smiled brightly and reach for her hands on the table. “Thank you, I don’t know what I would do without you”
“You’re my kid sister, stop thanking me for every little thing I do for you!”
I pout and glared at her. “Can you stop adding kid to the sister? You’re just 2months older than me!” I whined.
“2 months?” She scoffed. “That’s what you think, I’m 2years older than you!”
Ok.. she’s really two months older than me but I’m not gonna argue with her… Matilda never gets tired of arguments.
“Whatever helps your boat float!” I said.
She leans forward and flicked my nose, I hold it and frown at her.
“Are you trying to cut off my nose?”
“Yeah, you’d look so beautiful with your nose cut off!” She replied.
I simply glared at her and grab my coffee, I take large gulps. Just then my phone starts ringing, I reach for it inside my bag.
Checking the caller’s ID, I saw it’s Klaus.. I pressed the answer button.
“Hi, darling?” I answered.
“Baby, are you at the hospital yet?” He asked.
“No, I’m with Tilda, we’re having coffee in a cafe outside the hospital”
The hospital is just standing a few feet ahead of us, we can see it from here.
“Ok, I just wanted to check on you.. also, come home early, remember the gala’s today and you’re my date!” He said.
Oops! The gala is today?! I almost forget about it..
“I will come home as early as possible!”
“Ok, I have to work now.. take care and remember I love, love you!” He hangs up.
I frown and stared at my phone… Is this Klaus speaking? Or he’s been kidnapped by aliens?!
“Why are you looking as if you just saw a ghost?” Matilda’s asked me.
“It’s Klaus, he just said he love, love me!”
“So? What’s strange about that? Isn’t it normal for guys to say that to their girl?”
I scoffed and put my phone on the table.
“It’s strange, I mean I know Klaus loves me so much.. but he’s never display his love like this!”
Why did he sound overly sweet? Something is wrong…did he do something and he’s feeling guilty about it? Is that why he’s trying to coax me?
“Mr Statham is trying to be a sweet fiance, please just let him be!”
“He definitely did something wrong, that’s why he’s being sweet to me.. he’s trying bribe me!”
Matilda laughed briefly at my words, she shake her head.
“You’re just worrying yourself unnecessarily!”
I just have the feeling in my guts that something is wrong.
“Hmm, I just remembered…did you see your period yesterday?”
“No”
“Have you ever missed your period?” She asked again.
“No”
She frowned deeply.
“Strange, you’ve been taking those pills, so why didn’t your period come?”
I shrug my shoulders.
“Don’t think too much, maybe I’ll just have a delayed period this month.. it happens to me a lot!” I said.
Take last month as an example, my period was delayed by a week.
“Let’s just hope it’s a delayed period, if not you’ll have to…. ”
The sound of her ringtone cuts her off, she signals me to hold on and picked the call.
While she’s making her call, I busied myself by checking the time on my phone.. it’s 10:14am already.
“Anastasia, bad news!” Matilda said.
I raised my head. “What bad news?”
“That was Marc, he called and said I shouldn’t leave your side…” She trails off.
I gesture her to continue, she gulped and sighed.
“Someone broke Jack out of his cell!”
“What?!” I exclaimed.
Just then I received a text from Klaus.
*Don’t leave the hospital yet, I’ll come pick you guys up!*
Someone broke Jack out?! How?!
“Don’t worry, Tasia, I’ll keep you safe until Mr Statham arrives!”
I simply nod… I know you’re all wondering why Matilda said she’ll keep me safe.. well, that’s because she knows Kung Fu.
When we were in high school, she’d sneak away from normal classes to take Kung Fu classes.. now I kinda regret not taking those classes with her.
“Marc said they’re already looking for Jack”
“He’s.. he’s.. he’s not gonna come for me in the open.. right?”
Matilda stares at me and frown, she rushed to my side and held my hands.
“Tasia, you’re shaking!”
“Am I?”
“Yeah!”
“I’m fine, I just…. ”
I guess hearing Jack broke out just installed some kind of fear in me…why am I scared now?
“Let’s go to the hospital, you’ll feel safer there!” She said and i nod.
She opened her purse and take out some notes, she put them in the table and helped me up and we head towards the hospital.

Authoress’ pov ?
Statham enterprise…
Claudia stand by her window and looked outside, she taps her feet impatiently.. her phone pressed against her ear.
“How is my little witch doing?” A familiar male voice asked from the other side.
“I’m not fine, I’m angry!” Claudia barks into the phone.
The male voice chuckles.
“Oh? What’s eating up my baby girl? Liam told me Nicklaus already agreed to marry you.. aren’t you supposed to be happy?”
Claudia scoffed angrily.
“Yeah, he said he’ll marry me but he doesn’t mean it.. that bi*ch is still standing in the way!”
“Don’t worry yourself about her, I’ll deal with her soon… Also, Liam will make a very important announcement at the gala tonight!” He said.
“An important announcement?”
“Yes, and you’re gonna love it.. just doll yourself up for the gala!” Then he hangs up.
Claudia smiles to herself, she walked back to her chair and sit down.. tossing her phone in the table.
“I can’t wait to hear the oh so important announcement!”
