Chapter 104

“Martin, stop,” Evelyn yells panickly, and she bursts into laughter.

“I am just joking, babe…but tomorrow we can do it right,” Martin said, and Evelyn glares at him.

She can’t even walk right now, and he is expecting her to do it again.

The couple sat down at the dining table, expecting the food to be served.

Wondering where their friends are? They all left, leaving the couple to enjoy their night.

Her phone rang, and she sighs when she saw it was Haris.

“Hello, bestie,” She said softly, trying to sound well, but her cracked voice failed her.

“I guess Martin was tough on you,” Haris said, and Evelyn’s eyes widened.

How did he know? She turns to look at Martin, who was just pressing his phone, and he sighs in relief.

She really didn’t want him to hear about this conversation. It would feel awkward to her.

“How did you know?” She whispered.

“I just guessed…don’t tell me you guys…Oh my goodness,” He yells loudly that Evelyn has to move the phone away from her ear.

“Was he tough? Was it painful?” He yells through the phone, and Evelyn laughs softly before ending the call.

Most people would feel uncomfortable having this type of conversation with a male, but he was dmn uncomfortable.

“I will call you back,” She said and ended the call.

He calls her again, and she mutes the call.

Her phone beeps, and she sighs when she sees a message from him.

“Ava is asking for you, and you better give me the full story.”

The maid brought the food and placed it gently on the table.

Evelyn opens the plate only to meet a delicious sight.

It consists of spaghetti sauce and beef.

She was so hungry, and she didn’t even eat last night.

“Hmmm, the food is delicious,” Evelyn said as she took a spoonful into her mouth.

“Not as delicious as you,” He winks, and Evelyn blushes hard.

“You have become my favorite food already,” Martin said, and the maid pouring the drink coughs.

“Hmmm, um…enjoy your meal,” She stutters and quickly rushes out.

“Seriously, Martin, why would you say that?” She scoffs.

“I said get me a drink, not water,” Maria screams and throws the drink at the maid.

“I’m sorry, ma’am,” She says fearfully, already crying.

“Get out of my room, you worthless person,” Maria yells, and the maid quickly rushes out.

She sits on the bed, foaming angrily.

“I can’t believe he disrespected me like that,” She screams angrily.

She takes a ¢igarette, lights it up, and starts smoking.

The door opens, and her father walks in.

He doesn’t look surprised or disappointed. After all, he spoils her rotten.

He can’t even talk to his daughter. Whatever she wants, he gets her.

“Hey, calm down, daughter,” her father says as he walks inside.

“Don’t tell me to calm down. He is seriously angry about that, but I can’t lose him.”

“He has agreed to come to the party,” his father said, and she turned sharply to look at him.

“Really?” She asked, and he nodded, and a mischievous smile formed on her lips.

“My plan will surely succeed,” she said, smirking.
