Chapter 109
Martin ran his hand through his hair as he grabbed the man’s wrist, unable to hold back any longer.
He pushed the man forcefully, making him frown.
“What the heck…” he attempted to speak, but seeing the anger on Martin’s face made him stop.
Martin seized the man’s shirt, but Evelyn quickly pulled him away before he could do something foolish.
She didn’t want him to cause a scene in public and ruin his reputation.
“He didn’t do anything, Martin,” Evelyn said, and Martin scoffed.
“This is my fiancée, so back off,” he said, his voice indicating his attempt to control his anger, yet his face clearly displaying his rage.
He gazed at Evelyn slowly and scoffed, feeling betrayed that she had never mentioned having a girlfriend.
The man gulped nervously before walking away.
Martin turned to Evelyn, glaring at her angrily as she looked down.
He huffed and grabbed her hand, dragging her out of the club.
“Take us home,” he instructed the driver as they entered the car. The driver observed them through the rearview mirror and merely smiled.
He sensed that something was wrong, but he knew it wouldn’t last long.
“Martin,” Evelyn called softly, attempting to hold his hand, but she stopped.
She knew he was furious.
“What were you thinking, trying to make me jealous?” Martin yelled angrily, causing Evelyn to flinch in fear.
She had only wanted to incite his jealousy, but it had spiraled out of control.
From the beginning, she knew her plan wouldn’t end well, and now it had.
Evelyn was fully aware of how possessive Martin became when he saw other men with her.
“You know me too well, Evelyn. I become dmn angry when I see you with a despicable jerk.
What if I hadn’t been there? What do you think would have happened?” Martin yelled, making Evelyn shiver.
He sighed and turned away from her, and Evelyn sighed as well. This time, she was completely in the wrong.
Getting close to another person when she knows how upset he gets, and she even tried to cover up for him.
“Martin…”
“Can you please just keep quiet,” Martin said, and Evelyn sighed.

The guards opened the car for them, and they stepped out.
They all bowed as they walked past them, and they could tell that Martin was very angry based on his expression.
He entered the room, followed by Evelyn, who didn’t dare say a word.
His phone rang, and he answered the call.
“Yeah,” he simply said.
“Hmmm boss, he is in our custody right now. What should we do?”
“Teach him a lesson he will never forget,” he said and ended the call.
