Chapter 105
“Seriously Haris, keep quiet,” Evelyn yelled through the phone, and he burst into laughter, making Evelyn roll her eyes.
After having a meal, Martin wanted to watch a movie with her, but she declined because she was extremely shy.
Martin chuckled and decided to leave her be.
He had a smirk on his face that seemed to say, “You’ll get used to it eventually.”
“Come on, Eve, just tell me how it was,” Haris said, and Evelyn sighed.
“I really don’t want to talk about it.”
“Just tell me… Was it painful?”
“Honestly, it was… I felt like I was dying slowly… I couldn’t even move,” Evelyn said, and Haris burst into laughter.
“I’m sure you’ll get used to it…”
“Seriously, Haris, I really don’t want to do this again,” she said, and Haris scoffed.
“You can’t say that. Besides, I think Martin is quite experienced.
I’m actually surprised you guys never had sx before, so be ready for any moves from him,” Haris said, and Evelyn felt nervous.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to do it again, but she didn’t want to experience the pain she felt the previous night. It was like a never-ending nightmare.
The door opened, revealing Martin.
“Hmm, I’ll call you back,” she said and ended the call.
She avoided looking at Martin and pretended to be engrossed in her phone.
Martin rolled his eyes before sitting close to her.
“Avoiding me won’t do you any good, and you know that,” Martin said, and Evelyn scoffed.
He slowly turned her shoulder to make her face him, and they gazed softly into each other’s eyes.
“You really don’t have to avoid me, babe, okay?” he said, and Evelyn nodded slowly.
“How is your leg?” he asked teasingly, and Evelyn scoffed.
She really didn’t want to talk about it because it still hurt… a lot.
“Come on, let’s take a nap,” he smiled and laid on the bed, and Evelyn rested her head on his chest.
They both smiled, enjoying the warmth of each other.
“You know, yesterday was the best experience I’ve ever had,” he said, gently rubbing her shoulder, and Evelyn smiled.
He turned her face to look at him, and they gazed at each other tenderly.
“You give me more reasons to fall in love with you over and over again.
You are so pure, so natural, so beautiful that I sometimes wonder if you are an angel sent to me.
Everything about you speaks of innocence and shyness, but I like you just the way you are,” he said, pinching her nose softly, and Evelyn blushed, hiding her face in her chest, making Martin chuckle.
He smiled and brushed her hair gently.
“You’re truly worth dying for or fighting for,” he said, and Evelyn blushed even more.
“Have you heard about Alexander?” he asked, and Evelyn shook her head negatively, her eyes wide with shock.
“What… How the heck did that happen?” she stuttered, tears welling up in her eyes, and Martin sighed.
He never wanted to tell her when he heard the news because he knew she would feel bad for him, cry, even though he had tried to kll him.
“I don’t know how it happened, probably he got into a struggle,” he said, finding his words somewhat amusing, and Evelyn glared at him.
“What’s so funny?” Evelyn asked, her gaze piercing, and Martin struggled to maintain a smile.
