Chapter 111
Evelyn lay on the bed with the bedsheet covering her nked body.
She looked weak and tired.
The door opened, and Martin walked in. He smiled as he saw Evelyn lying on the bed, and then he rolled his eyes.
“Why is she sleeping this much?” He chuckled as he stared at her.
He brought out the waist chain from his pocket and moved towards Evelyn, who was laying peacefully on the bed.
He gently pulled the duvet off her and slowly locked the chain around her waist.
It was a pure gold waist chain worth millions of dollars.
He smiled and covered her back with the duvet before laying beside her.
“I guess no work today as well,” he muttered to himself.
He looked at Evelyn again, and he couldn’t help but smile.
She looked so cute sleeping. He brought out his phone and took a picture of her.
He laughed softly as he looked at the picture.
“I am really lucky to have you,” he muttered and kssed her forehead.
His phone suddenly rang, and he just scoffed seeing it was a strange number.
“Who is this?” he asked as he picked up the call, and the other chuckled from the other end of the line.
“You probably forgot me. Didn’t you?” the female voice said, and Martin scoffed, trying to recognize the voice, but he couldn’t.
“You forgot my mo.ans. Didn’t you?” she said, and Martin’s eyes widened.
Now he seemed to recognize who it was.
“Grace?” he asked, more like doubting it.
“Yeah, Grace,” the female replied.
Martin looked at Evelyn, who was still sleeping soundly, and he quickly stood up and rushed out of the room.
He really didn’t want Evelyn to hear whatever discussion she was going to have, or else she might feel bothered.
“Why are you calling me?” he whispered, yelled as he walked downstairs.
“Seriously, Martin? After everything I did for you so you could be mine, but then some woman came and took you away from me, and you seriously think I am going to let you be?” she said, and Martin huffed.
“I told you there were no feelings attached, but you decided to have sx with me, so this is not my fault.
If you still have feelings for me, try to forget about me because I am seriously happy with the woman I am with,” he said, and Grace burst into tears, making Martin sigh.
“Is this what you have to say after I gave you my body? You aren’t even remorseful at all,” she yelled through the phone, and Martin sighed.
He was kind of feeling pity for her.
“Grace, it really hurt you. Just please move on because I am happy to be with Evelyn right now.
Please, Grace, just move on,” he said and ended the call immediately before she could even say anything, and the young girl burst into tears even more.
She really did have feelings for him, and it hurt so much for her to move on.
What she didn’t know is that Martin was a playboy, and he only wanted sex from her.
She scoffed and dropped the telephone. She fumed angrily as she walked away, tears still flowing down from her eyes.
