Chapter 114
He frowned when he suddenly remembered that incident.
“Evelyn, I am really serious. Do not try that again,” he said, his voice showing how serious he was, and Evelyn just nodded.
His phone rang, and he stared at it, only to see that it was one of his guards.
He moved away from Evelyn and picked up the call.
“What is it?” he whispered, raising his voice as he picked up the call.
“Boss, the man passed out yesterday while we were punishing him. What should we do with him?” the guard asked, and Martin sighed.
“Free him,” he said and ended the call.
Martin turned around, only to see Evelyn glaring at him with her arms crossed.
“Do you really have to be hard on him?” Evelyn asked, and Martin rolled his eyes.
He didn’t feel pity for him. He hated it when someone touched what was his, and to think he was trying to force her made him angry.
“Martin, I’m all yours. You really have to calm down.
I have told you several times I dislike this aggressive behavior of yours when you are protective,” Evelyn said, and Martin sighed.
“You kn…….”
“Yeah, I know, and I have pleaded with you to calm down, but….you are becoming worse by the day,” Evelyn said, and Martin sighed before holding her hand gently.
“I am really sorry, Evelyn,” he said, and Evelyn scoffed.
“You are too overprotective,” she said, playfully hitting his chest.
“But I am pleading for forgiveness. Won’t you forgive this handsome man,” he pouted his lips, and Evelyn burst into laughter.
“You are so cute,” Evelyn said, and Martin winked at her.
“I know. You don’t have to tell me about it,” Martin said.
Martin sat down on the sitting room pressing his phone while waiting for Evelyn.
She was dressing up, and a makeup artist was working on her.
A maid walked in and placed a glass of wine on the table.
He took the wine and drank from it slowly, savoring the taste.
The sound of heels on the stairs made him look up, and his eyes widened as Evelyn walked down majestically.
He stared at Evelyn with admiration, his mouth open as he gazed at the beautiful lady in front of him.
Evelyn bent down nervously, trying to hide her blushing cheeks because of the way Martin was staring at her.
His look was so intense.
“Can you just stop staring at me,” Evelyn said, but he couldn’t.
His eyes were wide open, and his gaze was fixed on Evelyn, observing her every move.
“I can’t just stop staring at you. You look so pretty, hot in that stunning dress,” he said, and Evelyn blushed.
“I will leave you two now,” the makeup artist said. Evelyn nodded, and the makeup artist walked out.
“You look absolutely gorgeous, babe,” he whispered to her and kssed her lightly.
The dress was incredibly beautiful. It was a purple long gown that reached her feet.
It had an open back and a slightly revealing front, showing a glimpse of her chest.
