Suddenly, he lifted her up in a bridal style and walked out.
“Martin,” Maria called as they headed towards the car.
“You don’t know what you were planning, but you can’t break my relationship with Evelyn,” he said and got into the car.
Martin fumed angrily and watched as they drove away.
“I don’t care if I have to take drastic measures. You will be mine…”

(Next morning)
The alarm clock rang, and Evelyn opened her eyes slowly. She groaned and quickly closed her eyes due to the ray of sunshine coming through the window.
She looked at her body and sighed when she realized she was nked.
The bathroom door opened, and Martin walked out with a towel wrapped around his waist.
He smiled at her and then moved to his wardrobe.
“How are you feeling now?” He asked as he put on his shirt, and Evelyn just sighed.
“Seriously, I don’t know what happened to me yesterday. I felt so different and…
I can’t even say it,” Evelyn said, covering her face, and Martin chuckled.
He sighed and sat beside her.
“You don’t have to say it if you don’t want to. I am never going to let Maria go free this time.” He said, clenching his fist and gritting his teeth angrily, and Evelyn frowned.
“How does Maria have to do with this?”
“I was her target. She wanted to drug me so I could have sx with her, but I brought you along, and you drank the juice meant for me.” Martin said, and Evelyn gasped in shock.
“Oh my goodness. So that was the reason I was acting that way,” Evelyn said, and Martin nodded.
“I can’t believe this. How can she be so desperate to do something like this?” Evelyn said.
“Forget it. At least we both enjoyed ourselves last night,” Martin whispered in her ear, making her flush.
She pvshed him away and quickly covered her face.
“You are such a pe.rvert,” She said, still covering her eyes, and Martin burst into laughter.
“But this pe.rvert is driving you ¢razy,” Martin said, and Evelyn just rolled her eyes.
“I want to go and freshen up,” Evelyn said and stood up from the bed, nked, making Martin lick his lips as he stared at her body.
“I will be downstairs,” Martin said as Evelyn entered the bathroom.
“Okay,” Evelyn yelled from the bathroom. Martin chuckled and walked out of the room.

“Morning, sir,” The maids greeted, bowing down, and he just nodded.
He sat down on the couch with his legs crossed.
A maid walked towards him and placed a glass of wine on the table.
He took the glass cup.
His phone rang, and he picked it up without looking at the number.
“Is this Martin?” He asked through the phone, and Martin frowned.
He was trying to recognize the voice, but it seemed so unfamiliar to him.
“Who is this?” Martin asked.
“Your soon-to-be father-in-law,” the other male said through the phone, and Martin gasped in surprise.
“Who do you think you are to use him…
“You are so rude… I just want to talk to you. Come visit me in prison and don’t tell Evelyn about it.
I just wanted us to discuss something very important,” He said, and the call ended immediately.
