Chapter 119
“Welcome,” the guards greeted as Charlotte walked into the sitting room.
“Evelyn,” she called, and they both hugged each other.
“How is school?” Evelyn asked, and she just nodded, smiling.
“Hmm, have you talked to my brother?” she asked excitedly, and Evelyn sighed.
“Yeah, she did,” Martin said, walking towards her, and she gulped down fearfully.
Truth be told, she might be close to him, but he is one of the people she feared a lot.
When Evelyn had discussed it with him, he was so angry, and he forced Evelyn to call her and made her come here, just like he did with Cole.
“I’m sorry, Charlotte. I tried, but he is stubborn,” Evelyn said, guilt filling inside her, and Charlotte just gulped down as she stared at her brother.
“Martin,” the door opened, and Cole walked in.
“Cole, what vow did we make to each other when we became friends?” Martin asked, and Cole widened his eyes.
No one needed to tell him; he had already found out about their relationship.
Almost immediately, the door opened and all his friends walked in.
“What is going on, Martin?” James asked as they entered.
“Cole is dating my sister, so what do you think this is?” He yelled, and their eyes widened.
“What the heck!”
“Yeah, so what if I am dating her? I love her so much, and I don’t care about how you feel or some stupid vow,” Cole yelled, and immediately Martin landed a pvnch on his stomach.
“How dare you?” He yelled, grabbing hold of his neck.
“Leave him alone,” Charlotte tried to push him away but ended up hvrting herself.
“When James slept with your sister, you were so angry that you wanted to end the friendship.
Not like your sister was any better anyway,” Martin yelled, and Cole huffed.
He growled angrily and pushed him away with all his might.
“Really? So you think of my sister as promiscuous. How wonderful,” He clapped, tears flowing down her eyes.
“We all know James was a player, and all he wanted was to have sx with my sister.
But I truly love your sister, and then you think of my sister as promiscuous.
James deceived him and had sx with her,” Cole yelled, pointing to James, who just rolled his eyes.
Everywhere became silent as they looked at the two boys fighting.
This is the first time they are both fighting. They are so close and won’t even argue.
Martin sighed, looking at him. He felt that guilt eating him up.
“Fine. Since that is what you think of my sister, and you clearly don’t want me to date your sister, then there is probably no chance that we can be friends anymore,” He said, and everyone gasped in shock.
“Seriously, all of you are so foolish,” Evelyn said, and everyone turned their attention to her.
“How can you make such vows? That is so childish of all of you.
It doesn’t matter if he dates your sister or not because it strengthens the bond between all of you.”
“They fell in love with each other, so what? Even if you don’t want them to be together, think about your sister who is so in love with him.
You are going to break her heart, and instead of her loving you as a brother, she gets to hate you,” Evelyn said.
