Chapter 115
“You look handsome,” Evelyn complimented Martin, who smiled.
He was dressed in a black suit, and the top buttons were open, revealing his broad and attractive chest.
“Come on,” he took her hand gently, like a queen, or rather, his queen, and they walked out together.
Five cars were parked in front of the building, and two guards quickly opened the door for them. They stepped out of the car gracefully.
“It’s Martin Parker!” the crowd exclaimed as they saw them.
The security guards held the crowd back, preventing them from getting too close.
“Oh my gosh….you are so handsome,”
“She is so gorgeous,”
“Her gown is so pretty,”
“Martin…you are so attractive. Can I have a night with you, please,”
“I am very good in bed. I can satisfy you, Mr. Martin,”
“Those girls are something else,” Evelyn said, slightly annoyed by the words the girls were using.
“Son,” Mr. Eric called as he stepped into the hall and hugged him. Then he rolled his eyes.
He pushed him away softly, trying not to be rude.
“Oh, welcome, son,” Mr. Eric said, and Martin nodded.
“Is that Martin Parker?”
“He looks so young and wealthy,”
“Who is that girl beside him?” The people whispered among themselves.
His eyes turned to look at Evelyn, who was standing beside Martin, and he frowned, glaring at her disapprovingly.
Evelyn tightly gripped Martin’s hand, feeling uncomfortable with the way he was staring at her.
“Martin,” Maria called out, attempting to hug him, but he pushed her away, causing her to frown.
She turned to see Evelyn and became furious. She hadn’t expected her to be there.
“Oh, Evelyn, you came,” he greeted her with a smile, extending his hand for a handshake, which Evelyn accepted.
“Please follow me,” Eric said.
As they ascended the stairs, Maria tried to get closer to Martin, wanting to touch him, but he pushed her aside.
Evelyn, observing this from behind, scoffed and looked away.
He opened a door, and they all entered the room.
The room was filled with well-dressed and affluent individuals, with music playing in the background.
Evelyn felt uneasy, sensing that something was about to happen.
Martin gently held her hand, and they both took a seat. Maria glared angrily at them before sitting beside Martin.
“Thank you, Martin Parker, for joining us,” M Eric’s voice echoed through the small hall, followed by applause from everyone.
“Let’s raise a toast and then get down to business,” Eric announced.
Maria signaled a maid to bring them drinks, and the maid placed the beverage on their table.
She smirked as Martin took a sip from the glass of juice.
‘I’m confident my plan will work,’ she thought to herself, smiling.
