Episode 16
Zoey’s Perspective:
This marked my first day flying on a jet, and it made me feel quite nervous.
However, my current condition prevented me from admiring the experience for long.
Zosar and I arrived at the airport where two cars were already waiting for him.
I felt peculiar walking beside him. He seemed to be treated exceptionally.
Everyone around us bowed and avoided making eye contact with him. Thankfully, we got into one of the cars.
I stared out of the window, amazed by the beautiful buildings and vibrantly dressed individuals.
Egypt was incredibly beautiful; I had never imagined such a sight before.
Zosar remained silent, engrossed in his phone. I used that time to continue admiring the scenery.
After a long ride, we reached a magnificent mansion. No, not just a mansion, but a paradise.
What?
Oh my God!
Heavenly God!
Was this real? Was this the palace?
I opened my mouth in awe as our car entered the grand palace, and the guards and maids rushed out, standing in a straight line.
Wow!
The car parked in the garage, and the guards opened the doors for us.
Stepping out of the car, I felt a bit scared. I mean, I was in such an unfamiliar and powerful place.
Zosar got out first, and only then did I find the courage to do the same.
I cautiously stepped out of the car, looking around. The maids and guards seemed genuinely surprised to see me there.
“Come on,” Zosar said, standing beside me. We began walking amidst the guards and maids.
As we approached them, the maids lowered their heads, while the guards knelt down. Oh my!
“Welcome home, prince,” the maids beamed, and the guards did the same as we passed by them.
I felt incredibly nervous. This place was too beautiful. I had never seen a building like this before.
The gate was made of gold, the ground was covered in exquisite flooring, there was a waterfall at the entrance, and the garage was filled with various cars.
I couldn’t even list them all. It felt like heaven.
“Zosar!” a lady came walking towards us.
She looked pretty and adorned and had two maids following her.
The prince stopped walking and appeared surprised.
“Rana?” he called, and I stopped walking as well. After all, he was the person I knew in this place. So, I had to stay close to him.
The Rana girl smiled as she reached him and embraced him.
Woah!
“I’ve missed you,” she squealed. “Don’t tell me you’re not happy to see me.”
“Of course, I am. I’m just…well, I’m surprised. I wasn’t expecting to see you anytime soon,” Zosar replied, looking a little uncomfortable. Who was she to him?
“Oh! Well, I decided to pay you a surprise visit. I actually arrived very early this morning.
And…your mother told me you took a flight to America to find…Hathor,” she said, diverting her eyes to me.
“Hm. Who’s she? And…didn’t you find Hathor?” She asked, still looking at me. Gosh! She was making me so nervous.
I felt so awkward in the midst of all these people.
