Mason’s pov :
I turned to look at Aidan and boom like a flash he was gone. I was shocked.
“He left me”
I looked around and notice no one was looking at me, so I tiptoed and got to a place where it was easy for me to run. I was about running away when the guards appeared.
“What have I gotten myself into” I thought
They came closer and I shifted backward. Ahaaahh!, I recognise them. It’s Javier and the other guards.
“Aidan is not here” I said
“We are not here for Aidan but you” he said
“Me?? What have I done? You are joking right” I said and he ignored me
“Take him to the council” he ordered
And before I could say anything, they bundled me up and took me away.
” what have I done” I yelled
“Put me down! Let me go! ” I kept yelling but none of them answered.
Finally, I was dropped on the floor in front of the elders.
And lo and behold beside me was the mighty Aidan???
“How was he caught!! ”
What have you done Aidan!!! ???
Aidan’s pov :
I stood in front of the council to await my judgment. When Mason was brought in
The idiot kept shouting “put me down, let me go, bla bla bla, ” I couldn’t help but laugh
You might be wondering how I get caught. Well my dad did
?Flashback ??:
Leaving Mason behind, I left the festival venue. I was about going home when I saw my dad.
I’m in trouble!!
“Where did you think you are going” my dad said
G0sh!!
“Well dad I, I, I want, I, I, I actually want to get some fresh air” I stuttered
“You caused a problem and you want to run away? ” my dad yelled and I scratched my head
“No dad, I didn’t do anything”
“You caused lightning” he yelled
“Dad i’m sorry, i’m just pissed off that’s all” I tried pleading
“You are pissed off and you decide to cause trouble?”
“I’m sorry dad, i’m really sorry”
“Guards take him now to the council, tell them I said he deserved to be punished ”
“But dad that’s unfair, i’m your only son”
“I know son”
“Dad I said I’m sorry”
“I know you are, but this time you must be punished”
“Common dad I’m your only son remember!!”
“Take him away” he ordered
“Dad, dad” I kept yelling while I was taken to the council
” Javier Get Mason, they should be punished together” I heard dad said before he disappeared.

“How did they get you” mason questioned
“The same way they got you”
“You where bundled?”
” just keep quiet idiot”
” stop calling me that”
“I will keep calling you that until you get yourself some sense”
“I don’t have sense and you choose me as your friend, not just friend, best friend” he rant
“How do I know you again,” I asked and he rolled his eyes
“Did you just use my sentence?” he asked
” yes I just did”
“You did? ”
“Yes I did” I rolled my eyes and did his usual puppy face and we both laugh
That why we are friends ?? set of unserious idiots ???
“Both of you should keep shut, “one of the elders said
And Immediately we kept shut!! ?
Mason and Aiden’s pov :
The councils decided to talk among themselves and after what seems like forever, One of the elders stood up to address us
“You both violated the love festival’s rules and you broke the pot of love,” he said and we rolled our eyes.
Do you have to tell us what we already know? haa! ?
(Bad guys)??
“We pleaded with the goddess to have mercy” we beamed
“We are free! ”
” and she has decided to send you both on a quest to the earth without your magic”
“What!!! ” we chorused
We thought they pleaded with her, what’s the point begging when she knows she will still send us to earth
“Well, Aiden you are chosen for the quest to prove that lovee is real, ”
Are they serious or joking ?
(Aidan of all people)? ?
“Mason, your quest is to make him fall in love
, and you both are leaving today, you get your magic back when you succeed and you lose it completely when you fail” he concluded.
“What! Our magic for some kind of love quest” we rolled our eyes
“It’s time to go,” he said and we were escorted to the portal and that was the beginning of our quest and journey to earth.
