Sky’s pov
” Hey baby, ” Dad said as soon as i got back home from Jay’s.
” Hey Dad, I really missed you, ” I said giving him the biggest hug ever!
” We know about the road incident. I don’t know what’s taking the police so long to catch Jim. I think someone who we think is working for us, is actually against us,” Ethan said.
” Yeah, I think so to. There’s no way it could be this hard to catch that Idi©t!” I said as i walked over to him.
” Ethan already told me about Jake. I talked to the cops and he is not going to come anywhere near you again, unless he wants to go back to jail. I don’t even get why he is out , if he tries anything funny this time, am going to kill him!” Dad said furiously.
Dad had never threatened to kill anyone before and after seen him like that, I decided not to mention that Jake came over today. I didn’t want Dad to be more agitated than he already was.
” Am going to bed now. I’ll see you guys tomorrow .”
” Aren’t you hungry. I can make us a quick dinner. ”
” I already had dinner at Jay’s .”
” Okay then, go and get some sleep, ” Dad said kssing my forehead.
I got to my room and straight to the shower. I thought of Serena and how I was going to fix what I had broken. I also thought of Jay and the wonderful time we had together.
It’s true that every cloud has a silver lining and Jay was mine. He knew how to make me relax and forget about my problems, and there was no way in hell, was I ever going to let him go.
Tonight was really Crazy! When Jay sat me on his lap, I was shocked at first because it was unexpected but, seconds later, I felt my body getting warmer. My heart was beating so fast at that moment, with nerves and excitement, wild with desire. All I wanted then was to kss the h’ll out of him and tear off his shirt ,to ease the tempestuous turmoil claiming my entire system.
Tonight was the furthest we’ve ever gone while making out and I wanted more. Call me crazy, but I wanted him to make love to me so badly! I’ve been so close to dying lately and I wasn’t planing on dying a vrgn, and the thought of Jim trying to rappe me again was driving me insane!
The next morning in school Serena didn’t even look my way. She acted like I didn’t even exist! I tried to talk to her after school, but she walked past me clearly ignoring me.
” Don’t worry, she’ll get over it someday. Just be happy that she hasn’t poured acid on you yet, ” Jay’s said witth a smile, driving us home.
“Stop joking around Jay,” I said pushing his shoulder gently. “I can’t help but feel guilty, although you are right, she’ll have to accept it sooner or later. ”
” Now that’s the spirit…. Look who we have here, ” Jay said looking out the window as he parked the car. When I turned to look, Chris was outside my house knocking.
Here we go again!
I hope he won’t be as mad as his sister. I just can’t seem to catch a break this days.
Chris started walking over to us as soon as he spotted us.
” Is it true that you two are dating? ” Chris asked looking at me and i could clearly see pain in his eyes.
” Yes it’s true, do you have any problem with that? ” That was Jay.
” Stay out of this, ” Chris said throwing da.ggers at Jay. ” I want to here it from you Sky. ”
” Yes it’s true. ”
” Did you by any chance plan on telling me? ”
” Of course I did. Am sorry okay ,I dint plan for anyone to get hurt. ”
” I knew something like this might happen and believe me when I say that am not that shocked, but my sister is really hurt Sky. She is not talking to anyone and hasn’t eaten anything since yesterday. You are the only one who can help her. ”
” What do you mean by that? ” Jay asked.
” I mean that she should leave your sorry a$$, if she really cares even a little bit for my sister.That’s the least she can do for their friendship, ” Chris said almost yelling.
” Sky isn’t doing any of that shit! If your sister considers Sky as her friend, she should let her be happy, don’t you think? Now leave, your time here has expired, ” Jay said walking closer to him.
“I’ll leave when am done, and am not done yet!” Chris said closing the gap between them.
This was really getting out of hand and I had to stop the argument before they started throwing punches.
” What are you two trying to do? Don’t you think I have enough to problems to deal with right now?! ” I said pulling Jay back and standing between them.
” He started it. ” Chris said pointing at Jay. “Do you want to be with a man who is always ready to throw his fist around?”
” You think she’d want to be with a manwhore like you? We love each other and that is something you and your sister should understand, and accept already! ”
” I think you should leave. I’ll come talk to Serena as soon as she calms down, “I said to Chris.
” Okay, and I hope you would have made the right decision by then, ” Chris said walking away.
Jay then turned me around, cupping my cheeks. ” Am sorry about that, I just don’t like that guy. I dint mean to add to you worries.”
” It’s okay,” I said grabbing his hand taking him with me to my house.
” Wow! What a scene,” Ethan said as soon as we got in the house.
” What are you on about? ” I asked dropping my bag and taking a seat beside celyn while Jay sat on the opposite side.
” We saw the whole thing. You are so lucky girl, two very handsome men fighting over you, ” celyn said with a grin.
” Am actually the opposite of lucky. I’ll do anything for my life to go back to the way it was,” I said groaning and holding my face.
” I have good news for you today though,” Ethan’s said.
” Really ?! Did they get Jim already? ”
” No but, they caught his father .”
” I thought he was out on good behavior, or did he escape from prison?” I asked confused.
” Yes he was realised, but they caught him roaming around the house when he was clearly told not to. At least we only have one maniac to deal with right now . ”
” I don’t think we only have one or did you forget Jim has an accomplice? ” I said resting my head on the couch.
” I know but atleast we got rid of one. Don’t worry they’ll go down one by one, ” Jay said.
” Okay, I need a shower ,” I said standing up and walking over to Jay. “I’ll be down in a few, will you wait for me?”
” Yes, of course. ”
With that, I went up the stairs straight to my room. I instantly tensed when i noticed a big white teddy bear with my name on it on my bed. I slowly walked over looking for a note, to find out who brought it here, but there was nothing on it.
” Do you like it? ” a voice asked from behind but not just any voice, It was Jims. ” Your window was open, I hope you don’t mind. ”
The shock kicked in and I was afraid to even look back. I just stood there my legs shaking as i felt his footsteps coming towards me.The room started to go dark and then spin slowly on me, and I thought i was going to pass out. I would have given anything for this to be just another nightmare, but I wasn’t that lucky.
I turned back quickly trying to get away from him but he grabbed my hand and threw me on the bed roughly. I sat up and tried to scream but he was quick to cover my mouth.
“Don’t you dare scream! Dont you like my gift sky? The least you can do is thank me. Am gonna let go now, so no screaming okay?” he said withdrawing his hand from my mouth and taking out his gun.
I just sat there on the bed watching him, my heart beating faster than normal and dared not to scream.
When the hell did my life become such a night mare!
