? Ashley’s pov?
Mummy replayed the song and I rolled my eyes. I knew she’s gonna find out if I lied to her and I’m not ready to tell the truth either.
“Ashley, tell me the truth now. Did you sing?” She wasn’t smile, just a normal expression.
“I don’t sing mummy. Nevertheless the voice sounds like yours, did you?” I asked.
“You’re lying Ashley. Yes I don’t read minds but I can figure that you’re lying to me. Ashley I’m not gonna force you to reveal your identity,once it’s time you’re gonna do it without been told. Back then I was the anonymous singer who your dad had fell in love with… It seems like our story is quite similar.” She chuckled showing off her dimples.
“I guess, I wish my story could be better like your story…
“Don’t you ever wish for that again. Always wish for something more better than the one you’ve seen. So you’re the secret superstar right?”
“All right I’m gonna say the truth now, I am but mummy I never intended to be a secret superstar until I listened to one of your song and I fell in love with your voice. I tried to imitate your voice and I got it so I decided to upload it.”
“Really?”
“Yeah really, Anel convinced me. So mummy don’t tell dad anything yet.” I pouted out.
“Why? You don’t want him to know? So if I haven’t found out you ain’t gonna tell me?”
“I’m sorry love, Ashley is sorry.” I wore my puppy eyes. She rolled her eyes.
“Mrs McGregor and I discussed about something today, she told me about his son…” I interjected while she scored.
“What about him? You meant their son? Jeez! Mommy I’ve heard a lot about him, like he’s handsome. He has got the best handsome face but I still found it hard to believe.” I cuddled the pillow.
“You don’t know him? He attend diamond high school so you guys must have came across somewhere.” She divulged.
Puzzled, I lifted a brow. “I don’t think so.” I emphasized on the last word. “If at all he attends Diamond high school his news must’ve gone viral.”
“Maybe you’re right.” She shrugged her shoulders before heading toward the door.
“Ain’t you gonna give me a warm hug before leaving?” I pouted my lips.
“Goodness! Good night, sweet dreams and I love you.” She hugged my then pecked my forehead.
“I love you more.” I pecked her cheeks. She drew the duvet close to my chest and switched off the lights and left the lamp on. “Do you need the pearl pin now?”
“Not now.” I mumbled and yawned.
She headed toward the door and glanced back. “Don’t hurt him because he’s your soulmate, your power might works on him so be careful honey.” She said and existed the room.
“What does that supposed to mean?” I asked myself and spread my lips a bit.
“Stop thinking Ashley or you are gonna get a headache.” I kept rolling in the bed. I still have to find my diary. Right now I just can’t sleep.
My phone beeped and I picked it up to view the messages.

? yeah ?, I can’t sleep. What are you doing now?
? nothing really, and you?
? I’m about to sleep. Good night ?
I dropped my phone beside the lamp and tried to catch some sleep.

I rushed out of the room already dressed for school.
“Good morning Baby.” I pecked dad’s cheeks immediately I arrived at the dinning.
“Good morning daddy.”
“Did you slept well honey?” Mummy asked as I sat beside her.
“Yeah, guess what? I even snored.” They laughed. “Good morning Fred.” I waved at him while he returned with a short smile without saying anything.
After we had our breakfast, Fred and I walked out. “So tell me, did you find anything suspicious about Myra?” I asked immediately we hopped in the car. Fredrick fastened the driver seatbelt and helpede with mine.
“Thank you.” I mumbled.
“You are welcome. She’s weird.” He muttered and ignited the engine.
“What do you mean?”
“Why don’t you find out.”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah.”
“You crazy jerk.” I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
“It seems like she’s hiding something, I don’t really know but I’m gonna keep an eye on her.”
“Sure.” He drove in the parking lot and we alighted from the car.
“Let’s go.” As we walked, cameras flashed on us. “They’re crazy, how about we destroyed ’em?” I whispered in his ear and winked at him.
“Don’t even think about it Ashley.” He whipered back.
“Hey Gabriel.” He Called out when he saw him.
“Fredrick?” I sneered. He walked up to him and they did handshakes. I wrapped my hands around my chest and scoffed. “Why in hell will he left me for a commoner?” I asked myself and contracted my lips into a frown.
“Hey Ashley.” Gabriel called out but I ignored him totally.
“Ashley.’ Fredrick utterred while i glared at him before walking away.

?Kennedy?
I glanced at my wristwatch and sighed. Kyle should be alone right now, Odette left some hours again and I didn’t think she’s returning anytime soon.
“I’m just gonna take his coffee to his room now.” Emma said to a maid.
“Here, you can have it then.” The maid handed it and she carried the tray.
“Emma since I’m going to Miss Ashley’s room for clean up why don’t you give it to me, let me help.” I framed up and excuse.
“No, don’t worry I got this.” She rejected and tried to walked out of the kitchen.
“Hand it over to her Emma, you can stay back and watch over what you are doing.” Sonia said and I smirked.
“Uh…huh, sure you can have it then.” I collected it and smiled to myself.
I made my way toward his room. I spoke through the intercom, when I didn’t get any reply I pressed the unlock button and entered the room.
There was no one in the room. I dropped the coffee on the table just about to walk out I remembered about the poison portion.
I need to do something. I dipped my hand inside my pocket and brought it out. I dare not do it before walking in, every corners has CCTV so I need to be careful.
I bend over, I unclasped the small bottle and let three drops fell in the coffee. I quickly returned it back to my pocket and adjusted my dress. I’m pretty sure their room is safe.
I headed toward the door that was when Odette entered.
“Welcome ma’am.” I bowed. She didn’t reply rather she moved toward the table and grabbed a file.
“Thank goodness.” I watched her secretly.
“Love you’re back?” Kyle stepped out of the bathroom.
“Yeah I left this behind.” She raised the file and grabbed the coffee on the table, she took a sip of it and dropped it back. I smiled to myself and laid my hand on the doorknob.
“Wait Neddy.” Odette called out.
“Yeah?” I turned abruptly and widened in shock. I hope it’s not what I’m thinking.
“Come closer.” She said sternly.
“Yes ma’am.” I couldn’t stared back rather I stared at my feet.
“Have this.” She pointed the coffee at me and I widened my mouth.
“What? Yeah? No, I’m sorry ma’am I didn’t catch what you said.” I shuttered.
“I won’t repeat myself.” She said sternly.
“Odette, is everything okay?” Kyle asked as he moved closer.
“Yeah.” She smiled at him.
“Have it.” I collected it with a shaking hand. “Drink it now!” She sneered and I panicked.
“Neddy drink it.” She shouted. I lifted it up to my lips and glanced over maybe she might have a changed of mind.
