“Brian, you have to go to work today. I feel much better now and I’ll feel guilty if you take another day off to take care of me,” I said looking at Brian’s outfit. He’s wearing shorts and top planning to stay at home again.

He’s been staying at home for days to take of me. And I feel so guilty that he’s absent at work because of me. “Hey, I didn’t complain, did I? And I’m not missing any work, I work from home. They’ll inform me if there’s an emergency,” he answered and walked over to where I was standing.

I noticed the mischievous smile on his face and know he’s about to kss me. He’s been doing that alot these days. He pulled me closer and put his hand on my forehead to check my temperature. Seeing that it’s normal, he finally kssed me. I slowly put my hands around his neck.

“Ivy, would you like to attend college?,” he suddenly asked and stopped kssing me. I blinked my eyes as the words finally sunk in my brain.

“College!,” I asked excitedly. I’ve always wanted to attend college. But then my excitement faded as I suddenly realized something. I hugged Brian and said,“ Brian I’m scared. I’m not free to go to public places cause of my kleptomania. I don’t want to embarrass you outside.” “Sssh… You are my feisty kitten… My feisty kitten doesn’t easily get scared… She’s always sassy.,” he uttered kissing my forehead lightly.

I smiled at the nickname he called me. ‘Feisty kitten’. “Don’t worry, Brad will be there. He can protect you. And I’ll setup appointments with the new therapist for you.” I smiled tiptoed and kissed him saying,’Thank you.’

“When you get to college, don’t follow those college boys around,” Brian warned grumpily. I chuckled, his jealous face is adorable. “I won’t. When I have a handsome, loving, caring and matured husband like you, why should I follow immature boys around?,” I retorted. He laughed and brought out his phone. “ I’ll call the provost of the college right away and settle your admission. Can’t wait to see how cute you will look in a uniform.”

“Dummy, uniform is for highschool not college,” I answered and held his hand before doing my puppy face trick. “Brian, can I stay at the college’s hostel?” Just as I expected, he said,“What! No. You can’t leave your husband all alone here.” I kissed his hand lightly and pleaded,“Please… Pretty please.”

He sighed and said,“You can’t stay at the college’s hostel.” He saw my sad expression and finally said,“Brad has a mansion in college area. You can stay there.” I jumped up happily and hugged him. I can’t believe I’ll finally get to experience college life.

“You are so cruel Ivy. You want to leave your husband all alone here and fIirt with boys at college,” he complained and I smiled. “C’mon Brian I already told you and you can come visit anytime you want. I’m all yours,” I said. He kssed me and brought out a credit card.

As he gave it to me, I asked,“What’s this for?” “I want you to have this platinum credit card. Anytime you want to go shopping,” he answered and I tried to return the card as I already have a gold credit card. But he refused and I had no other choice but to accept the card.

“Now stop distracting me. I have to talk to the provost right away,” he said and left the room… I carried my own phone and saw the unread strings of messages from Marie. I chuckled, ignored it and check my Instagram page.

I walked to the kitchen grumpily while holding my phone. That bch Ivy hasn’t replied to my messages yet. I went to the coffee machine and made a cup of coffee. I relied on the kitchen island sipping my coffee while hoping and waiting for at least one reply.

A maid walked into the kitchen and screamed when she saw. She ran out immediately. I looked at my reflection using my phone and sighed at how my eyes looked swollen like that of a panda. I haven’t been able to sleep for days now and it’s all because of that bch. Why is she still refusing to reply? Is my apology not enough for her?

I’m not doing this anymore. That bitch can go to hell. I don’t care. Today will be the last day I’ll send anymore apology messages. I drained my cup of coffee and went to my Instagram page to check what was going on. While browsing, I saw a very beautiful Dior bag and wanted to purchase it from the online store.

But as soon as I added my credit card info, it will show transaction failure. I tried many times but still the same thing. I finally called someone to find out what was going on with my card.

?Ma’am, I’ve just checked your card info. Your account is frozen ma. It’s a command from the higher-ups…

As soon as she cut the call, I looked at my phone in shock. Who could have done this? I can’t do without my credit card. It’s my life. I screamed and ran out of the kitchen immediately going to Dad’s room. He’s my first suspect.

“Dad, why did you freeze my account?,” I asked barging into his room. He was with his laptop when I entered.

“What are you saying Mariana? Why would I do that?,” he asked.
“Dad I just called someone. My account has been frozen. What did I do to you to deserve this?,” I asked angrily.
“Mariana calm down. I didn’t freeze your account. There must be a glitch somewhere. It will possibly clear up before the end of today. I’ll help you fix it,” he answered and I left his room.

I have lots of accessories and clothes I want to buy but now I have to wait till the end of today to buy those things. I stamped my feet on the ground angrily.

“How many times do I have to tell you to stop staring at her like that Brad!? Have you forgotten she’s your sister-in-law?,” Brian said as he hit his brother’s head lightly. Ivy laughed. They are currently in Brad’s mansion. The one located at the college. They finalized Ivy’s admission to the college.

Winston college, the number one most popular college in the state. People can’t get in easily no matter how wealthy they are. Admission to the school has to do with connections. So most of the students there are from influential families.

“Bro, I have to stare at the goddess that was able to capture the heart of a Playboy like you,” Brad said with a shiny sparkle in his eyes. He stood up from where he’s sitting and went over to where Ivy was sitting. Holding her hands, he said,“Sister in-law, can I call you my goddess?” Brian grumbled and Ivy laughed.

“Brad don’t call me sister in-law or goddess. It makes me feel odd. We are the same age mate,” Ivy said before laughing at Brad’s dazed expression. “You are much more beautiful than the last time I saw you,” he said and Brian finally couldn’t take it anymore. Picking up a golf club, he ran towards Brad.

They start chasing themselves around the room. “Ivy you haven’t started yet and one college boy is already swooning over you. What would happen when you finally start,” Brian asked Ivy still chasing Brad.

“Bro… I wasn’t fIirting with her. Just complimenting her. I have lots of babes chasing after me,” Brad said panting heavily.
