“Daria!!!”, Kady called as she stared at her in shock.
Everyone turned to kady, the person who just called Daria.
“Kady!!!”, She called back and they hugged.
“You sure know how to surprise me and Leo, you just disappeared.”, She said and Daria just smiled.
“You two didn’t want to believe me.”, She replied.
“Shouldn’t you tell us how you know each other?”, Oliver asked and that was when they realized that they weren’t alone.
“She’s my best friend.”, Daria replied.
“This is Max, my friend.”, She said pointing to Max.
“You guys are friends already?”, Finn whispered to his son and Max just shrugged.
“Gosh! You hide too many things for your dad.”, He said and Max smiled.
“This is Mr Finn, my …. Hmm Max’s dad, my boss.”, She said shyly and Max and Oliver just shook his head.
“And this is Oliver, my hmm…!”, She said looking at Oliver for help.
“A close friend.”, He replied and Daria nodded.
“Maybe Daria is the one Oliver likes.”, she thought and her heart beat very fast.
Imagine two best friend in a love triangle with the same man.
“No wonder the name of this restaurant was somehow familiar to me.”, Daria said and kady just nodded.
“I will get back to work.”, Kady said and left.
“You should have told me that you had a best friend.”, Oliver said and Daria looked at her confused.
“Huh? Why?”
“Because I’m courting you, I need to know everything about you.”, Oliver said and winked and Daria just rolled her eyes.
“You didn’t tell me that this was a date with your girlfriend then we wouldn’t bother coming, I’m busy … You know.”, Finn said.
“Oh we actually didn’t plan on this to be a date, so this isn’t a date.”, Oliver said and max stole a glance at his dad, he was staring at them but his expression was unreadable.
“We should just eat.”, Max said as they brought their food.
“You are beautiful Daria.”, Oliver said as he tucked some strands of her hair behind her ears.
“I can do it myself.”, She said pushing his hand away.
Finn just looked away, he didn’t like what he was feeling at all.
He hates the fact that he fell for the same lady, his best friend likes.
He would rather love Andy again than falling for his friend’s girlfriend.
He hated the fact that he let her kss her, he hated the fact that his heart beat very fast when they are close.
His phone rang and it was Andy.
He looked at Oliver and then excused himself.
Kady who has also been staring and has seen all what Oliver did, that he winked, smiled and tucked her hair behind her ears.
She broke into tears again, she couldn’t believe what she just saw.
What pained her was that she told Daria how much she loves her boss and yet, she couldn’t even sacrifice for her.
“What was that? I don’t want him to think that we are dating.”, Daria said quite angry.
“What’s this for?”, She asked.
“I just want him to admit his feelings to me, I don’t want him to keep anything from me even if it’s something that will hurt me.”, He said.
“You keep saying feelings …. What feelings?”, She asked.
“That he likes you, ugly”, max said and rolled his eyes.
“Me? If you know what he says to me, then you wouldn’t think that.”, She said.
“What?”, They both asked.
“He …. Nevermind! I just don’t want false hope.”, She said.
“I have to go, Daria you can take max home after you are done here.”, He said.
“Are you going to meet Andy, your ex girlfriend?”, Oliver said purposely adding the ex girlfriend part inorder for him to realize that he wasn’t supposed to meet her.
“She needs my help.”, He explained.
“Dad you aren’t going back to her, are you?”, Max asked.
“She’s drunk and she wants me to take her home.”, He said.
“Why does it have to be you of all people?”, Oliver asked no one in particular.
“Please don’t go, don’t go to her.”, Daria found herself saying as she held Finn’s hand.
Oliver and max eyes widened and they looked at each other.
Daria couldn’t stop herself, she had witnessed Andy’s drama before when she was beginning him to accept her, she even kssed him.
Finn looked at her confused, he didn’t understand why she was acting like that.
“Daria!!! He only wants to help her.”, Oliver said stylishly removing her hand from Finn.
“I will be back.”, He said awkwardly and left.
“Jeez! You almost spoilt the plan.”, Max said.
“But he was going to meet his ex girlfriend.”, She said.
“So are you jealous?”, Oliver asked.
“Yes I am and so what? I don’t want him to go back to her because he thinks we are dating.”, She said.
“Let’s just eat, I’m hungry.”, Max said.

“Why did you ask me to come here if you weren’t drunk? You sounded drunk on the phone.”, Finn said quite mad.
“I’m sorry, I just wanted to see you away, I have missed you.”, She said as she hugged him.
“Andy!”, He said slowly pushing her.
“Just let me hug you for a while.”, She said and he stopped resisting.
“You looked troubled, why don’t you have a drink with me?”, She offered and Finn just sighed.
Well he had no option, Oliver was his only friend and the thing bothering was what he shouldn’t tell Oliver at all.
“He sat down and ordered a drink.”
“Do you have anything bothering you? You can tell me about it.”, She said also sipping her drink.
“It’s nothing, I can handle it.”, He said.
“Did you ever love me at all? It was so easy for you to get over me and love someone else.”, She said.
“What are you talking about?”, He asked pretending not to know.
“Finn you are very easy to read, I know you but I just can’t believe that you would replace me just like that.”, She said.
“I still don’t understand what you are talking about, I better leave.”, He said and she pulled him back.
“I don’t want you to leave just yet, I just want someone to talk to.”, She said and he reluntanly sat back.
“I liked you Andy but it’s just that, we can’t be together.”, He said.
“Does Max like the lady you used to replace me?”, She asked and he shrugged.
“I’m not sure.”, He said and then realized that he had just exposed himself.
“Please can you not tell Oliver.”, He said.
“If telling Oliver would make you love me, then why won’t I but it won’t.”, She said.
“But I’m a bit hurt, I will try as much as possible not to cross part with that lady or else, I will pull out her hair.”, She said and Finn smiled.
“There will be no need for that, she has a boyfriend.”, He said.
“Ouch! Now I am very hurt, you replaced me with someone who has someone already?”
“Oliver is the boyfriend right? That was why you asked me not to tell him.”, She stated.
“You know too many things about me, should I be scared or thankful that someone knows me?”
“Finn I will be moving to new York with my mom in few days.”, She said.
“Then it means I shouldn’t be scared.”, He said and she shook her head playfully.
“I’m really going to miss you.”, She said as tears filled her eyes.
“So are you going to cry now?”, He asked and she glared at him.
“At least you should feel emotional, I was once your girlfriend.”, She said.
“I’m sorry and thank you.”, He said.
“Why?”
“I’m sorry for how I ended things with you, I’m sorry for making it look like I never liked you and thank you for still considering me as your friend.”, He said and she just hugged him.
“Don’t you dare push me away this time, let me hug you all I want.”, She said and he just Pat her back.
