Finn became very embarrassed after the kss. He actually didn’t expect her to pull him just when he was able to pull away.
“Mr Finn would you like to have a drink with me?”, Daria asked and Finn turned to look at her.
“No … You don’t have to agree, I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.”, She said.
“No it’s fine.”, He said as he walked pass her, leading the way.
“Daria thank you.”, He said as they both sat down to sip their drink.
“Ever since you came into this house, everything changed especially Max.”, He said and she just smiled.
“I knew you would be the prefect person for this job the first day I met you.”, He said and she blushed.
“I have a question to ask Mr Finn”, She said and he nodded.
“Do you plan on dating again? Like I mean … What if someone loves you and she is ready to wait till you are ready to love again.”, She asked.
“Should I? I am not sure about that, I just want to focus on max. I don’t want him to think I don’t have his time.”, He said and she nodded.
“So you are not dating Oliver?”, He asked and she nodded.
She didn’t know if she should tell him the truth or not.
“I don’t like Oliver.”, She said and he just nodded.
The place became quiet and awkward for the both of them.
They both stared at each others lips honouring the desire to kss again.
Finn wondered if he was doing the wrong thing by giving in to his desire.
They both moved closer and they stared at each other.
“You are so cute.”, He said like a whisper and she blushed.
They moved closer and closer till their lips touched.
Finn was surprised at how well Daria kssed but he was still the boss.
He placed his one on her waist and continued kssing.
They broke the kss but their faces were still a inch away.
They were obviously not done.
He claimed her lips again and they kssed roughly this time around.
She placed her hands on his shoulders bringing him closer.
When they finally pulled out, they looked into each others eyes for a while.
“Should I tell her how I feel about her?”, He wondered.
“You asked me why I kssed you that day, I kssed you because I… I like you Mr Finn.”, She said and he furrowed his brow.
“What about Oliver? What about the person you liked?”, He asked.
“That someone is you, you are the one I have liked and I like.”, She said.
“But I know you are not ready for any relationship and i understand, I’m willing with wait.”, She said and he just looked at her dumbfounded.
“A—are you asking me out?”, He asked and she just shrugged.
“You should go to bed now, it’s a late already.”, He said and left.
“I hope I won’t get rejected.”, She said and sighed.

Next Morning!
? “You both kssed and then you confessed your feelings? You are unbelievable.”, Leo said shaking his head.
?”I’m so happy for you Daria, I wish Oliver would give me attention, he has been avoiding me after we kssed.”, Kady said and sigh.
?”He probably likes you but wants to confirm.”, She said and kady nodded.
?”Sis you were indirectly rejected, he probably wanted you to confess your feelings that was why he probably kssed you.”, Leo said and Daria gritted her teeth.
?”I wasn’t rejected, I told him that I would wait for him.”, She said and Leo laughed.
“Aren’t you supposed to be supporting your sister?”, Kady said as she hit Leo on his head.
“I’m out of here, I will be late for school.”, Leo said and excused them.

“Do you want me to stay at home today? I think you should take a break from school today.”, Finn said and max nodded happily.
“Do you want me to change your school?”, Finn asked and max shook his head.
“I like the school, I don’t want to change it.”, He said and Finn smiled.
“Where is Daria? I haven’t seen her yet.”, Max asked looking around.
“Dad did anything happen yesterday?”, He asked and Finn looked away.
“I don’t know, we are not that close, so I don’t know what happened.”, He said and Max looked at him suspicious.
“You are looking suspicious dad, are you hiding som…!”
“No!”, He quickly added and they heard a knock on the door.
Finn went to open the door and the lady outside entered.
“Aunt Allison!!!”, Max screamed as he jumped on her.
“Max my son, I have missed you so much. How are you doing?”, She asked as she hugged him tightly.
Daria watched them from afar and wondered who the lady was.
She couldn’t deny that she was jealous seeing how happy max was with the lady, she has never seen him smile like this and he seemed very comfortable with her.
“What if she is Max’s mom and Mr Finn’s wife?”, She asked and she became feeling so insecure.
“Hey! You are acting like you aren’t happy to see me.”, Allison said as she walked towards Finn holding Max’s hand.
“Of course I am happy but I didn’t miss you that much.”, He said and she hit his shoulder.
“Come here dummy head.”, She said as she hugged him tightly.
Seeing Finn smiled sweetly with the lady broke Daria’s heart, she didn’t know when her phone dropped from her hand.
She was lucky that the tears in her eyes haven’t dropped yet, if not how will she explained the reason she was crying.
“Oh you have a lady in the house!”, She heard Allison say.
“Good morning ma’am.”, Daria greeted bowing.
“I’m Allison, you are?”, She asked.
“I’m Daria.”, Daria replied and Allison smiled.
“It’s nice to meet you.”, She said and Daria faked a smile.
“Show me my room.”, She said to Finn.
“Are you staying?”, He asked.
“Why? Do you want me gone? Max your dad wants me gone.”, Allison said to max.
“No … Don’t go!”, Max said and Daria rolled her eyes.
“My son doesn’t want me to go.”, She said and Daria’s heart broke into pieces, she just confirmed it.
“Stop blackmailing me, let’s go.”, He said grumpily as he carried her bag.
“Maybe he said that he wasn’t ready for love because he was waiting for his lover.”, She said as she quickly wiped her tears.

“Why do you look down? Are you okay?”, Max asked Daria and she said nothing.
“You should just go back to your mom, she has missed you and your dad so much.”, She said and Max laughed.
“You easily get jealous.”, He stated and she scoffed.
“I easily get jealous? Well yes …. I am but what can I do when your dad has someone else.”, She said.
“She’s my Aunt, dad’s elder sister.”, Max answered.
“She took care of dad since grandma and grandpa died and she calls me her don because she raised me also.”, Max replied and that was when Daria calmed down.
So she has been jealous over nothing.
“Why didn’t you tell me that your dad has an elder sister?”, She asked glaring at him.
“You didn’t ask.”, Max replied.
“We are not friends but it’s you I want for my dad.”, He said and Daria smiled.
“Repeat what you just said please.”, She said and he just looked away.
“Did you just say that you want me for your dad?”, She asked and max just ignored her.
“Answer me!”, She demanded and he refused.
“Answer me or I will spank you.”, She threatened.
“That’s if you can catch me.”, He said and she chased after him.
“You have been staring at her, do you like her Finn?”, Allison asked and Finn only glared at her.
“I just asked a question, Its my observation.”, She replied and he rolled his eyes.
“You just came and you are already observing things.”, He said.
“You know I’m sensitive right?”, She replied and he only rolled his eyes.
“So do you like her?”, She asked again but he didn’t reply.
“You are disturbing me.”, He complained.
“Just answer the question!”
“I have something to do in my room.”, He said standing up.
“If you don’t like her, you can just say no. Why are you avoiding the question?”
“You are so annoying, you should just leave already.”, He said walking away.
“Leaving without an answer means yes.”, She shouted after him.
“Whatever!”, He said and smiled.
