?? “Are you sure max is really your son? Elise cheated before she got pregnant.”

Finn read the message over and over still trying to digest what henry just sent.

He looked at both Daria and Oliver in fear.

His heart skipped one beat, his feeling was just undescribable.

“What’s wrong?”, Daria asked noticing his sudden change in mood while Oliver just collected his phone to check what he had just read.

Daria collected the phone to check after Oliver and they all just looked at each other.

“Max — max isn’t my son?”, Finn muttered as tears filled his eyes.

“Finn!”, Daria called as she went to hug Finn.

“You don’t have to believe whatever that dvil says, you know that he is ready to do anything just to see you hurt.”, Oliver said.

“What if he is telling the truth? What if max isn’t really my son? I can’t live without him Oliver.”, Finn said as he burst into tears.

“If max is really his son, then why is he just claiming max now? Why did Elise plan on aborting her pregnancy? Finn don’t listen to whatever that dvil says.”, Oliver said.

“Finn, Oliver is right! You don’t have to believe what he says.”, Daria agreed.

“Elise cheated on me with Henry even before she got pregnant.”, He stated.

“Henry hates you so much for him to allow you to take care of max for years, if he is really his son.”, Oliver said.

“I just want to be alone, I want to just go back home, I’m tired.”, Finn said.

“That bstard!”, Olivia said clenching his fist. He just feels like pvnching the h*ll out of Henry.

“Daria where’s dad? I haven’t seen him since I came back from school, is he very busy?”, Max said.

“Your dad wants to be alone right now.”, She replied wondering if it was right for her to tell him about what Henry said.

“Then maybe dad will feel better if he sees me.”, Max said.

“No I think you shouldn’t see your dad for now, he needs some time alone.”, She said.

“Why what happened to dad?”, He asked and Daria took a deep breath.

“Your uncle henry might be your dad.”, She said and max just froze.

He took some time before he process what Daria said.

“That’s not true! It’s not possible, uncle Henry can’t be my dad.”, He said as tears filled his eyes.

“I can’t leave my dad, he is the only one that I have. I am his son.”, He said shaking his head as tears rolled down.

“Max! No matter what the truth is, your dad still loves you very much.”, Daria said as he hugged max till he slept off.

“What if max is really Henry’s son?”, Daria thought.

“Who are you texting?”, Henry asked Frankie who kept smiling over her phone.

“It’s just my friend.”, She replied.

“A male or female?”, He asked looking at her suspiciously.

“It’s a male.”, She replied.

“Let me see your texts.”, He said and she moved her phone away.

“It’s personal!”, She said.

“Whatever you say!”, He said and left.

Next day!

Henry visited Finn’s company.

“What the h*ll do you want from me?”, Finn asked.

“Have you come to talk about that st*pid message you sent to me?”, He asked and Finn laughed.

“St*pid message? You know that I am only saying the truth, max might be my son.”, He said.

“Max can never have a father like you.”, Finn said angrily.

“You have been with max for eight years now and I won’t care if he calls dad or thinks of you as his dad, once it is confirmed that he is my son, I will definitely take him back.”, He said.

“No matter who turns out to be Max’s dad, I will never release max.”, Finn said.

“Let’s have a DNA test done, let’s know who the real father.”, Henry suggested and Finn scoffed.

“We don’t need to have a DNA test done cos I won’t be releasing max.”, He replied and Henry just laughed.

“Don’t you think you are being selfish? You want to deny max of an opportunity to know his real dad.”, Henry said.

“Even if you are the real father of max, I will still win the custody of max because you committed a crime, you committed adultery. You slept with Elise when we were still married.”, He said.

“Then let’s just confirm who max real dad is, I have the right to know if max is my son or not.”, He said.

“Fine, let’s have a DNA test done.”, Finn agreed.

“Just prepare to release max to me once he turns out to be my son.”, He said and Finn clenched his fist.

“No matter what the results says, max won’t be going with you.”, Finn replied.

“Let’s see about that once the result is out.”, He said tapping Finn’s shoulder and Finn jerked his hands off angrily.

“We will surely meet again.”, He said to Daria who just stood at the door and left.

“Finn are you okay?”, She asked as she quickly rushed to him.

“Who does he think he is to take my son away from me? I can’t live without him, if he takes max, I won’t be able to handle it.”, Finn said as he tried to chase away the tears that were threatening to fall.

“I can’t believe that Elise could do this to me, I did everything for her and yet she wasn’t satisfied with my love for her.”, He said and Daria just hugged him.

“I hate the fact that I loved her so much that I was ready to forgive whatever mistake she commits, I even begged her to stay with me and yet she treated me like nothing.”, He said and daria just consoled him.

“No matter what the results says, I know that your love for max will never change.”, She said.

Finn and Henry’s blood sample were taken, along side with max.

When the day, they were supposed to collect the result, Henry went to see the doctor before the time they were asked to come.

“What is the result of the DNA test?”, He asked.

“But ….”

“Do you value your profession at all? Don’t you have family members that rely on you? I’m sure you wouldn’t want to lose your job, so tell me the result of the DNA test.”, He said.

“Are you threatening me?”, The doctor said with a big frown.

“Anyhow you take it, I don’t care. All I need is the result of the DNA test now.”, He said and the doctor just sighed.

“Who is the real father of the child?”, He asked anxiously.

“Mr Finn is the biological father of the child.”, He replied and Henry’s eyes widened in disappointment.

“Why should I believe you? Did they ask you to manipulate the result?”

“I can show you the result, let me get it.”, The doctor said getting up and Henry pulled him back forcefully.

“I need that result in my favour, I don’t care how or what you do but I need to the that kid’s father.”, He said and he placed more pressure on the doctor.
