Chapter 55
“Sorry baby” Evie apologized and started brushing her hair.
“So you and sir Jax are now a thing?” She said and her smirk showed on the dressing mirror.
“Um.. not actu.., we are just…” she kept stuttering without saying a complete word.
“It’s cool though, I like him and besides he’s better than my master” she smiled and Evie smiled slowly.
Can’t still believe they’re even best friends”.
“Me too,” Evie replied.
“I just called him an Ice Lord now”
“Really? I think it suits him better than the Dread Lord” Pearl said and chuckled mischievously.
“So what would you like for desserts?”
“A vanilla ice cream and chocolate cake”
“Okay princess! Let me go get them” Evie said and pecked her cheek.
“Wait! You didn’t tell me I look pretty” Pearl pouted as she opened the door.
“I don’t need to tell you that honey, you’re it’s definition already” she winked and left.
“Awwn, now I feel super pretty,” Pearl said to her reflection in the mirror and giggled.

“Why has the fanning suddenly reduced?” Britney barked at Kendrick who’s at her back.
“Obviously my hands are getting weak. Why do I even have to do this when there’s an AC here?” He shouted back angrily.
“Yes, you don’t have to do it. You can just sit back and watch me email your mistakes to boss” she said with a smirk.
“No! No!! No!!! You don’t have to do that Goddess Britney” he smiled, holding her hands.
“How about a nice soothing massage?”
“Or even better, let me go get you your favorite drink”
He said everything in a rush as he ran around senselessly.
“Here you go my Queen” he bowed as he gave her the drink like a server.
“Thank you my loyal dog” Britney responded, smiling evilly as she took it.
“Now get back to work”
“Yes your highness” he started massaging her shoulders gently.
“Fk that feels so good” she sighed, closing her eyes and relaxing more.
“Snitch!” Kendrick muttered, glaring hatefully at her.
“Did you just say anything?”
“No,no. Of course not Pretty Goddess” He replied, smiling sheepishly.
“Better” she scoffed and kept enjoying the massage.

“Wanna clear your head?” Rex asked Raven.
She’s been walking around in silence.
“Kinda. Also needed some air” she replied.
“Let’s continue the walk together then” he smiled and joined her.
“This feels really nice. Hacking nearly drained the life out of me inside” Rex muttered with a sigh and she chuckled lightly.
“That’s cause you’re a lazy a$s”
“Lazy? Am not lazy. If anyone should be called lazy, then it’s Kira.
While I work my a$s off, she stares at the h’ll I don’t know” he replied and scoffed.
Raven knows it’s Rex that she’s always staring at. She has caught her doing that several times.
A flower suddenly fell from a tree and perched on Raven’s hair.
Before she could grab it to throw it away, Rex held her hand.
“What do you wanna do?” He asked like he doesn’t know.
“Remove it of course” she replied.
“But it looks pretty on you”
“I hate colorful things,” she muttered with a frown. “Since it’s not black, I have to get rid of it”.
“Not on my watch this time” he said and adjusted the flower very well.
“There you go!” he smiled and returned his gaze to her face. His mouth went wide open instantly.
“It looks ridiculous right? I knew I should have gotten rid of it” she said angrily and wanted to have it removed again.
“No!!!” He shouted and stopped her.
“I was lost cause you look dazzling” he said and she blinked, bringing her hand down slowly.
“Trust me, you look amazing. Maybe you should try some other colors next time” He smiled charmingly and she swallowed hard.
“Thanks!” She muttered silently.
“You’re welcome cutie. I need to go check on the stuff I was doing earlier, maybe I’ll join you later” he said and she gave a slight nod.
The next thing he did shocked her beyond words, he pecked her cheek before leaving.
She stood there for minutes like she was just got hypnotized.
Her heart beats changed from it’s normal slow beats to faster uncontrollable ones.
She made a mirror appear magically in front of her and she blinked thrice at her appearance with the flower on. She looks so tender and beautiful.
Her mind went back to the time he called her cute, she smiled.
Her fingers trailed on the flower on her head, then to her cheek where he had pecked her.
She smiled brightly and sweetly as all those things came to her mind.
