Chapter 60
Pearl opened the door gently and entered the room. Her mouth went wide open from the view.
It’s a large room with magnificent paintings and drawings everywhere on the walls, leaving no space.
All manner of beautiful drawings were displayed there, a drawing of the sea, nature, different creatures and human portraits.
“I don’t mold statues” Adonis said with a light chuckle.
He’s actually making another beautiful painting. He has a white singlet with denim jeans on. His white hair was packed with a fancy band.
“Am happy you could come” he muttered and gave her a short hug.
Just as her senses flew back to her, they started flying away again from his hot look. His half sweet smiles also has a huge effect on her.
“Come sit” he said and pulled her to the couch.
“Your paintings and drawings are lovely” she muttered her first words since she entered.
“If they were actually as pretty as you, I won’t sleep but keep watching them every second” he replied and she blushed uncontrollably.
“It seems like your favorite hobby and sleeping too” she chuckled, getting up from the couch.
“Yes they’re. I rarely talk to anyone” he said and stood up too.
“I truly wish I could draw, I would have used it to chase boredom whenever it came” Pearl said and sighed.
“I can teach you if you want,” Adonis responded.
“Okay, but not today” she smiled and he nodded.
“I was so happy when you accepted my text to come”
“Your pretty face popped in my head when I saw it” Pearl winked and he smiled as they went back to sit.
“I hope you can also accept my invitation to join me for lunch?”
“Uhm… I ca”
She was about to refuse when her phone made a sound. She checked it and it was a message from Draco.
“Don’t wait for me, I am on a business trip. Have the driver send you home later”.
A joyful smile escaped her lips from his message.
“So…?” Adonis inched his brows.
“I will” she replied quickly and he smiled sweetly.

?An Amusement Park?
“Why are we here?” Evie asked Jax as she stared around the park.
“Don’t you love it here?” He asked her curiously.
“Duh! Am not a kid” she rolled her eyes.
“Then let us have one to have a reason to come here” Jax grinned and she glared at him playfully.
“No need to keep a long face. Couples comes here too” he said and dragged her in.
After an hour of fun, Evie’s face was filled with giggles and cheerful smiles.
“That comes next” Jax pointed at a direction.
“The ferris wheel?” Evie raised her brow.
“Yeah! Heard it’s fun” he replied and held her hand, dragging her along.
They sat down gently on their seats and buckled the belts around their waist.
“I know you’re gonna get scared, but don’t worry your handsome protector is here for you” Jax said with a proud smile as he held Evie’s hand.
She nodded and released a smirk.
“I…”
He couldn’t complete his words as the ride started and his eyes widened.
“Ahhhhh!!!” He started screaming loudly.
“Hahahaha” Evie couldn’t help her laughter, seeing his funny reaction.
“Ahhh! Help!! I wanna get off this thing!!!”
The wind carried his voice as he kept screaming and Evie didn’t stop laughing.

Few Minutes Later?
“You’re still not done protector?” Evie asked Jax, who has been throwing up at a corner ever since the ride ended.
“Urghhh!!!” He threw up again and she kept patting his back slowly .
She was actually smiling deviously as she kept staring at him.
“Here, have some water” she said, offering him a bottle of water.

Jax stood up and rinsed his mouth with the water. His face looks pale already.
“Look who suggested a ride on a ferris wheel” Evie said and started laughing.
He shut her a glare and she zipped her mouth, trying to suppress the laughter inside.
“Sorry okay, you shouldn’t have suggested it knowing you were sick of such”
“Ungrateful being” Jax scoffed and started walking away.

“Hey, where are you going?” Evie asked loudly.
“Home of course” he shouted back and kept walking towards his car.
“Wait! Wait for me protector!!! Protectors are meant to stick to you and not just walk away” she shouted, running after him.
Jax hastened his steps, leaving her behind.
“Protector!!!!!!”
