Chapter 57
?The Guest Room?
She stood there like she’s being there like she’s being controlled somewhere by a remote.
Maybe she should have let her curiosity and anxiety check there before rushing into the bedroom.
Noticing that the person was asleep, she decided to leave quietly.
Before she could leave, her eyes caught the person’s white hairs.
Instead of leaving like she planned, her legs pulled her back towards the person.
She gasped when she noticed it was who she was actually suspecting.
“It was Adonis again”
He’s sleeping calmly with a big brown teddy bear beside him.
Her eyes started it’s scan from his glowing white hairs, closed eyes, tiny pointed nose and babyish face.
She was too mesmerized by the sleeping demigod.
Like as if a spell was cast on her, she lowered herself and used her unease fingers to touch his face.
“A beauty sleep getting interrupted by a beauty” His voice said suddenly and she quickly wanted to step back, but he held her hand.
Opening his eyes slowly, he started sitting up. The moment those beautiful green eyes laid their gaze on her, she melted like an ice cream.
“You do know those words ‘Curiosity klls the Cat’ wasn’t a mere saying” he said and she took her lower lip.
“Sorry” her tiny voice sounded through her bent head.
“I actually love curious cats. I find them interesting” he smiled mischievously, using his fingers to raise her chin.
“Especially pretty curious cats,” he smiled, revealing his dimples.
Pearl blinked and swallowed nothing down her throat. She didn’t care about the fact that he called her a cat inwardly. She’s too lost in his beauty to think of anything.
“H..how did you get in here?” she stuttered.
“I should be the one doing the questioning doll. How come you never check rooms before entering?”
“He’s right,” her subconscious mind told her.
She looked down at her legs, “I’ll have to deal with you later” she said mentally and frowned at it.
“You look dazzling in a ball gown,” Adonis complimented her with a sweet smile.
He’s surprised that he actually complimented her. He rarely does that to a girl.
He’s also not the type to get chatty with any one, but he’s also doing that now.
“Thank you!” Pearl replied.
“Did you also come for the ball?” She asked.
“Yes. Am quite influential, but don’t love mixing up with the crowd much” He responded and her eyes darted to his chest.
Some buttons of his shirt were open, revealing his silk skin. Her lips parted a little as she drooled.
“Why in the world was an angel sent to torment her?”
“Wouldn’t your master be worried about you?” He said, snapping her back to her senses.
“Am sure if my corpse was brought out of here, he would just walk away and ask them to bury me” she muttered and scoffed.
“Cute” he smiled, showing off his set of white teeth.

Vince walked towards Draco with his devious smile on. In his hand, a glass of wine and the other, tucked inside his pocket.
“How nice to see you here brother” he said to him.
“Why the h’ll do you always interrupt my fking peace?” Draco snapped, gritting his teeth with a frown.
“You should really be happy I always do so” he smirked and Draco frowned more.
“Where is our little pet? Thought you came along with her”.
“Our little pet?” Draco repeated his words and smirked d’vilishly.
“Why do you have to keep signing your death wish in my hands?”
“There she comes,” Vince smiled, ignoring him as he stared in a different direction.
“Master!” Pearl muttered, coming closer to him.
“Good evening sir” she greeted Vince.
“Absolutely a good evening with your beautiful face,” Vince replied, smiling sweetly at her.
Pearl didn’t smile back or reply, she only held Draco close with an unease feeling about him.
“You should learn to know your limits” Draco said hoarsely, shooting him a fierce glare.
“I would no longer be nice the next time you act stupid” he warned strictly with his deep voice.
He turned and held Pearl by her hand and they started walking out, ignoring everyone else.

?The Glass House?
(Draco’s room)
Immediately, Draco walked to his room’s door, he opened it swiftly and slammed Pearl to the wall, shutting the door soundly and roughly.
“Ahh!” She winced from the pain of the slam.
Not just her body hurts, both her head got h!t badly.
“How dare you disobey me and do your will?” He barked as he grabbed her left hand and squeezed it tightly.
“Pl.. please” was only what could only come out from her as she struggled to set her hand free.
Draco’s eyes darkened, bearing no glimpse of pity in them. He placed her hand on the wall and continued squeezing it more than before.
“Ple..ase mast..er” her words came out in stutters because she was already tearing up.
That seemed to have caught Draco, cause he reduced his force a little bit and looked at her.
“Am sorry, please forgive me” she cried hard as she pleaded.
